Soooo very true! I think of it as confirmation that changes I want are, in fact, happening. Never did I think "Itching will release endorphins into your system because you are happy about it."

Congrats!  Wait until they are large enough that you hit them all the time while doing just mundane things!  Just simply reaching over with one arm to the other side can give you solid pain signals!
One gets used to this, but it is a very sue reminder that they are there!

I already hit them frequently with my arm.  I'm surprised it's happening so soon, when the literature I've read says at least 3 months.  I wonder if being on dutasteride for over 2 years has given me a head start.

It won't be long before I have to buy new bras.  Fortunately 38B and larger cup are much more readily available than the 38A I've been wearing.

I taped my chest trying to get a cat to jump in my lap and wow, it was like I had been hit in the groin levels of pain. My youngest daughter saw what I did and laughed saying "yeeeeaaah. That never goes away". I realized at that point that teen girls carried their books in front of their chest not to look smart, but as armor!

It's not just pain either, sometimes things will brush across them and it feels just so darned good!

A good moisturizer will help with the itching a bit, and silky t-shirts instead of typical male cotton t-shirts, will cut down on the chaffing. When T-shirts start to feel like sand paper, I suspect you will figure out that it is time to change materials.

I am sorry to tell you that your daughter is right, the pain seems to  be there for pretty good.  I am working on my boobies for several years already, and the pain is still there.  One gets used to it after a while, but once in a while it hits by surprise.  I hate it when shorter persons try to hug me, and press either their shoulders or other body parts against my hurting boobs!

I am lucky here in southern Florida that we were only very light weight clothing, and I don't wear a bra most of the time, and have only the thin fabric on top of my nipples and that does not rub as bad.  I buy a lot of tops with breast pockets to hide the nipples away when not wearing a bra.

Tomorrow marks 4 weeks on HRT and I'm definitely seeing results.  When I look in the mirror, my breasts definitely look bigger, with a more feminine profile.  In addition, I see evidence that the areola are getting bigger.  When I hold my breasts, they're definitely a bigger handful and my bras are getting tighter.  So, all in all, I am growing, though not quite to the Dolly Parton stage yet.   

BTW, I was at my doctor yesterday, about an unrelated issue.  When I told her my breasts were growing, her response was "good".

I bought one yesterday.  While functional, it's nowhere near the quality of the bras from the bra shop.  Nowhere near the price either, so I guess that's to be expected.

I frequently check for changes and am happy to find them.  My breasts are definitely larger and firmer.  My nipples and areola also appear to be growing and I think my testicles are starting to shrink.  Looking forward to more change!!!  I just wish I'd started years ago.

4 weeks, I remember my 4th week. I was still wishing to see or feel some type of physical change. I'm glad for you that you didn't have to wait longer. My areola showed no significant signs of change until I tried progesterone. Shrinkage as well already? WOW. I continue to have shrinkage, I pray for an innie - still an outie though

However, my breasts are definitely growing.  For example, I frequently hit them with my arms and when my arms are forward, as they are now for typing, they are pressing against my breasts.  Also, my bras are getting tighter and when I hold a breast in my hand it feels larger and firmer.  So yes, after 4 weeks, changes are happening.  In fact I started noticing just before the 3 week point.

I can't say that I've noticed that, though my sense of smell has long been sensitive.  I could often detect scents others couldn't.  Maybe it was already bonkers.
