Called on Deb, she said there are loads of beans on the plants but it was raining so they stayed there! Popped in to mums and left her a slice of banana loaf, went down the workshop and made a cover for the wiring on the T. Picked up some bits for tomorrow and back home for 1pm, feet up time now.

2 days work on Nicks T hot rod and wiring almost finished, just waiting on some switches. We got on well stripping the inside panels and pick up so down to a bare chassis. Back on it next week I hope.

Had to rush back from the workshop this morning, electrician texted to say he could come to do a system check this afternoon. He found some faults so will be back. Cooked a "small" packet of Risotto that I got the other week as it was reduced, had a great big bowl full with 2 chopped up figs . Nice but have a load left over, found a recipe for left over risotto cakes and tomato sauce so that looks like tomorrows dinner. 

Spent to much shopping again, they had padded work trousers for £9.50 in my size (fb) and mum got me a work body warmer/waist coat. Needed some bread crumbs but the only thing they had was garlic/herb croutons to go as a crust on the left over Risotto cakes. Blitzed up in the food processor and grated parmesan mixed in and then the rice squeezed into patties and coated, fried in olive oil till coating crispy and cooked through. Home made tomato sauce to go with it, it was very tasty and will be making some more for tomorrow.
 Got back from shopping and there was a car parked in my space and no where else to park, folks from the house in the car park were talking to someone and I gesticulated to move it. Then I saw it was my brother in law!! When he moved it and I parked I went to see him, he was looking at their camper to see how they made the units. Talking to the lady and saying thats my BIL she said she knew him and my sister, I then got invited to look in her house to see the remodelling and building they are doing. It was the gardeners cottage to go with the house that now has my flat in, 1880s. They are making a good job of it and when done it will be a cosy place.   

I take it site was down to clear the cobwebs from the system, its that time of year!!
 Well dear hearts I did a "stupid" thing and bought myself another hot rod project , only problem is its 300 miles away in Scotland. My friend will collect it as I have been working on his hot rod for free, maps say 6hrs but it will be longer in his pickup and trailer. We will have to stay over night so proper road trip, his missis wants to come as well. Tues we are moving my stuff around so I can get the VW panel ready to sell. Tomorrow morning its the hot rod breakfast meet so chin wag then.

Garage cleared at mums and magazines stored in my lockup, my sister turned up while I was there so got a hair cut . She didn't believe me when I said it was 2 years since she had last cut it, took 2ins off.

Sounds like you are a busy girl.

Is the Austin done? You need to make room for the hot rod!

Needed cutting as it was longer than my wig! Moving the Austin Countryman to my mums garage so I can get my VW van in to my workshop to sort some body work and get it running and ready to sell. The Hereford will go on mums drive for the time being then when the VW is done the countryman will go back in my shop and Hereford in mums garage till my workshop is clear. Well thats the plan!!!

Had a nice morning at the café with the folks from the hot rod clubs, good turn out and I wont need lunch after that breakfast! Nick and Celina are up for the trip to Scotland this Friday, Celina was quite excited about it. When the universe puts everything in place you know its meant to happen.   

Motors moved around with Nick's trailer ,good job Chris came and helped ! We are all pooped with the pushing and winch winding, I need a good sit down.

No trip to Scotland this weekend as the seller didn't reply to my messages till it was to late to organise, my friend said he will see when we can go in the week as we will need a stop over. Went and did some more wiring sorting yesterday, nearly done just waiting on parts.
 Knock me down with a feather its Thurs shop day again ,after yesterdays downpours (lots of flooded roads the other side of the hills) its blue skies and warm temps (15C) so unlike last week the winter coat stays on the rack!

Same old going on here, not much apart from fixing the paint work on the VW panel van and getting it ready to sell. Call in on mum this morning on the way to the garage to see if she is okay. Got some green tomatoes from D yesterday to make some chutney, he would have just put them on the compost heap.

Must rush as off to Worcester village (okay its a city) to work on my mates hot rod T and hopefully finish the wiring. Finish is a bit loose as some can't be done yet but I want to get to the stage where we can remove the loom and do other work.

I felt a bit "off" yesterday, just not on my game. This morning I have come down with something, hard job coming around and now have the sniffles. Annoying as I wanted to paint the VW panel while the weather was good. Got the slow cooker on for a beef stew for tonight. At least I can get to watch the F1 from Austin Texas and still not seen the results!!
 Hope I am better tomorrow as back to finish the wiring for my friend, took a lot longer to sort yesterday than expected and still have loads to sort.

Feeling better, just got a tight hat on now.
