I have to agree with AmyT, late nights walks are definitely out particularly if Im alone, even if its only a short distance I get a cab, in todays world as a female, some places and times are not safe, even in broad daylight, just walking pass a work site, guys whistling continuous, its flattering and its sweet,

Another woman who appreciates men whistling at her and considers it "flattering and sweet?" I just don't get why anyone would consider this boorish behavior flattering in any way. And sweet?

Earlier on, I used to get whistled at and considered it offensive then as most women would. Thank God I get more respectful come-ons from men even though I dress very provocatively.

I don't have any problem walking anywhere in the city anytime of the night or day. Lots of other women walk freely and without any fear as I do. I just don't get this fear thing at all. The worse thing that happens is cab drivers pulling over and offering me free rides. Of course, they ask me out. I get their number and I tell them I will call them. LOL
When I get wolf whistles from guys, so what, it can be flattering and sweet, they are just appreciating my femininity, as for walking along at night, yes Melissa I do get cabs all the time, I don't put myself in danger, its a small price to pay for just being a woman.

If your going thru hell, just keep going.

That whole "in the opposite sex thing"

I'd describe a one of my typical days, but you've already been there.
But if in the future I had a day to go back to the way things are now, I'd want it to be on a winter's day with snow on the ground so I could write my name...

The only thing I've ever even heard anyone mention that they missed about being a guy was the ability, when in a hurry, to pee standing up! Although I understand that with a bit of practice...  ;D

Or in a really nasty bathroom at a filling station.  EEEEEEEwwwwwww  >:(

I guess I'm jumping into this thread late. The one thing I'll miss about being a guy is my girlfriend. I will miss her very much.

I Will miss my Girlfriend alot if she leaves me.

I will also miss big enough pockets to actually fit things in on clothes.

What would i miss?

Well, being expected to dress like a slut for a work theme night doenst help... so i guess being able to skip ALL dance routines, read your lines in the show, and wear CLOTHES in the packed venue... ill sure miss not being expected to be sexually alluring to be acceptable....

I'll jump on. The only thing I would miss.. Being able to be showered and ready for work in 15 minutes or less.

But otherwise I would never miss a thing. But my transition is slow moving; feeling stalled..
Just another girl screaming to be herself.
