This is so weird, and so awesome. It's like someone took a chainsaw to K-Pop. What a novel concept.

LOL yeah it is. And fringes, or, as you folks call them.. bangs. And all the pigtails. It's like someone saw anime and was like "Hold my beer". So weird and wonderful.

I like this song but her voice doesn't match her appearance. She sounds like she's 50. It very weird seeing her and hearing her.

Is that actually how she sounds? If so, girl needs to quit the cigarettes.

Hi everyone - I love this thread!

Miley does have quite the vocal range doesn't she. I drove 500 km today and listened to her Younger Now and Endless Summer albums as well as a mix of old and new Goo Goo Doll albums as I grew up across the river from Buffalo, NY.

I went to a proper hair salon for the first time on Thursday in my old home town after googling "queer-friendly hair salons near me" and when I explained to my stylist Ally that this was my first time as a woman her smile blinded me. It turns out that she started the salon with her friends - one of whom transitioned in 2020 - because the one that they all worked out was not as diversity friendly as they wanted. I showed Ally a picture of Miley Cyrus performing The Cranberries "Zombie" and asked if she could help me come close to attaining that look and she said that I was almost there and we both bonded over our respect for Miley's ethos and musical range. It was quite the fun experience and the icing on the cake was meeting her colleague, and our fellow traveller, who gave me some excellent advice, including her parting words of "you got this sister."

Thank you for this thread Chrissy!

I hope you all are having a lovely evening!

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Something completely diffent for me this week.

+6 hours performance - Richard Wagner "Götterdämmerung" (Twilight of Gods) - in one of the best European Opera Houses. Not a second boring.

No, not my 'normal' listening, but I studied in Bayreuth, the town of the annual Wagner Festival, and got infected by the virus (latency was 20 years)
