The Black Keys were amazing if only because its hard to believe that two people could be that loud. Though I liked the last tour better.

The Band had a true luxury in having several people who could sing, all with very different voices. I have always loved Levon Helm's voice, which is so aching that it just seems to cut to the quick on the songs he does (Dixie Down, The Weight).

For something silly, try its version of Rammstein set to Winnie the Pooh.

I've seen Tool a few times, and while I'm not head over heels about them as some of my friends are, they are pretty powerful live.

But you can feel raw emotion in the The Band's performance that you can't in Joan Baez's.

"Shot Through the Fog" is simply lovely, ell. Great choice. The Knife is very knife-like and I totally agree on your comment about "Caribbean Blue."
