Little Women: gag me with a spoon

Which one?  There are three film versions.  Or are your just grooving on being a hater, and it really doesn't matter what it is you're hating?

The version with Winona Ryder.

And, Tekla, I am not a hater and do not groove on hating things. The thread is called "Big Movies You Hated!", so I listed the ones I don't care for.

Don't see Wolverine, then.  I liked the X-men movies well enough...they're good popcorn movies.  Wolverine...yeesh.  That was pretty bad.  And now they're going to make a Deadpool movie.  It's official...it's a yahoo headline! (for whatever that's worth...)  Let's just hope it's better than Wolverine...

All I want to know is, who the hell told Liev Schreiber to run like that?!  Ugh...

I did hear that a Singapore cinema was showing Sound of Music with the songs cut out.

That would be a vast improvment.

Alexandra the Great with Angeline and Brad. How bad can you go.
Die Hard 2
Die Hard 3

Rambo

How do people get the money to make this c**p

Hi Jay.

Die Hard 1  and Die Hard 4 were great! Die Hard 2 and 3 were total bombs. Yuk Yuk. Just crap in my opinion. BTW I never have BW in any of my dreams. Daniel Craig? My pillow is named after him. Hmmm Hug, kiss, spread legs, Ooops

my worst: Dune.  first couple of books great, movie horrible
  •

Cindy

Yes
Dune and Ned Kelly
Dune had Sting as a rock giant who cannot act. Ned Kelly had Mick Jagger and totally proved the point. Our is it the other way around ;)

Is there a movie that a rock star acted sucesfully in? Maybe David Bowie?
I cannot think of one with a "supermodel" that has, they have all been rubbish (in my opinion)

I agree with all of this other than Tom Cruise in Rain Man. Loved that film.

Top Gun and Indiana Jones... with you on those ones.

The movie I hate the most is Dances With Wolves.  I hate it in a big-theme way, and in a small-theme way.  On the one hand, the film seems to be sympathetic to the plight of Native Americans; but on the other hand, it made a gazillion dollars by exploiting the plight of Native Americans, so it's hypocritical.  Had Costner donated a piece of the film towards improving the lives of the descendants of the people whose misery he exploited, I wouldn't hate him (and the film) so much.  Also, we got the message when the whites killed the wolf, we didn't have to be pummeled with the same message when they killed the horse too.
It's easier to change your sex and gender in Iran, than it is in the United States.  Way easier.

Please read my novel, Dragonfly and the Pack of Three, available on Amazon - and encourage your local library to buy it too! We need realistic portrayals of trans people in literature, for all our sakes

Alexander - More tripe than a Blackpool butchers, awful accents (looking at you Jolie) and waste of talent

LOTR (Any of them) - Massively over-rated, much like the books

Jumper - Great idea, lousy plot

Species - Great tits, lousy plot

Event Horizon and Sunshine - Could have been wonderful, original sci-fi movies.  Worse, the first half of the films are really good and full of promise, which makes the subsequent descent into utter pap all the more disappointing.

I don't think this is a big movie. In fact, I don't even know it's name. It has Steven Segal or whatever in it.  I hate all his movies anyway but my roommate likes them.

The other day I came in and watched segal kick and punch a bunch of people around. He took his victims' weapons and used them against the poor slobs. Then there was a scene where a bunch of mob bosses were acting all tough about what to do. I wasn't impressed at all.

My roomie left the room so I put on a Clark Gable, Myrna Loy, William Powell movie from 1936. There was a scene where these mob guys were in a room and they confronted this other guy who came in. It was mesmerizing. Gripping.

Just as the scene was culminating, my roomie comes in and switches back to segal. There was a whole lot of drama and stuff, but I felt nothing. NOTHING I TELL YOU!!!!

I may have to wait another 40 years to see that gable movie again and find out what they did with the guy who owed them all money.

Big stars you HATE HATE HATE!!!!!

... continued in its own thread
