Alright. Not the first time, per se. But they saw me as a boy then.

I was doing a warranty replacement for a guy today, probably in his 30s. I was just looking at the products briefly to inspect them, and I guess I moved my hand so that I wouldn't brush his arm. "It's okay, you can touch me, I won't bite"



"Well, unless I take you to dinner."



"Or you could take me to dinner, then bite me. But only on my neck."



I probably blushed a lot, I know I smiled and laughed and avoided making much eye contact afterward. I hope he thought I was being shy and appreciating it because I was. I know it was just a stupid, trifling little thing guys do all the time.

But they haven't done it with me before!

I actually probably would have flirted back, but it would have been awkward at work. And I was afraid that he'd suddenly notice something and snap out of it and get angry.

But I've been happy all day. Thank you, random nameless dude who's probably x1.5 times my age and pervy, I appreciated it.

That's really nice Autumn, congrats!  I've had that happen to me before too, with older guys in my line at work.  It's a nice feeling.

The first time a straight guy came on to me I was so surprised I didn't handle it too well.  But it still gives me a little glow thinking about it.

Yeah, the first time it happened to me it freaked me out and hoped he wouldn't follow me. He just left with what seemed his tail between his legs, metaphorically speaking, at least I thought it was his tail, lol.

Oh, I love when that happens, it makes me feel all giddy and floaty.

You can't get all giddy at this.  You have to be in control, as women are in this process, weak and giddy at this, weak and giddy on the streets.

Yeah, it's a huge compliment to us because it's a new and validating thing. That's why teenage girls put out in middle school. Gotta be careful and watch your development.

My problem is I often don't catch it right away when they flirt with me. Uh oh, I'm showing my blondness.

Some of them get a bit sniffy  But the next time I say hi to them they're right back at it 

Well, I had a promiscuous phase last fall. It got me into the best relationship of my life, and clarified so much for me that it was worth being a slut briefly (even if I have a few small regrets.) I lost my virginity to a guy, and though I briefly mentioned being TG, we haven't communicated much what with him getting deployed and all.

He's been reminding me off and on how much he enjoyed my company and wants to revisit things when he's stateside again. I was getting kind of nervous about the "Surprise, breasts!" conversation, but we had it this week. And he said that he likes women so much, he wants his boys to be feminine, so why would he have an issue with me pursuing transition?

Ahh, mostly-straight-boys-who-swear-they-dont-normally-like-dudes-but-really-like-me. Not always bad.

I don't see us ever being anything serious, but... I have such walls about men that it feels good to work at chipping away at them with a good man. He and my ex go way, way, way back and she's firmly vetted him to me.

I guess this makes me one of 'the girls back home' to a degree. God, war sucks.

We had this special event, and two guys came in near close tonight, 35 and 32. One had to be buzzing hard, or was on TOTAL "have personality for the chick" mode and it was awesome. They were both being self-deprecating, but the louder of the two was totally tearing into himself and his friend for laughs from me. Neither was in good shape and his friend was almost half again his size and topics included things like his fat ass literally breaking his treadmill, how impressed he was that I built the stand for the weights they were buying, the way I actually talked a woman out of buying something that would probably hurt her daughter in front of them, going on and on about how they totally screwed up coming in the other day and got some idiot but he told them they'd have to come back and see the awesome short lady who knew everything, that I shouldn't be tossing around a dumbbell half my size like I was, etc. There was just so much of that friendly boy bull->-bleeped-<- that almost always throws me off entirely but I made that conversation mine. And neither of them made lewd comments or talked down to me. Well, near the beginning I got "Holy ->-bleeped-<-, she's like a real salesman," but my response of "Yeah, I've kinda been doing this for two and a half years sir," got us onto a good pace 

One customer, who made me pass with his friend, and the lady, $350 in sales, but a feeling that kept me glowing and laughing for hours. "So don't be a jackass and it won't break?" "Correct sir, don't be a jackass." "Why do you enjoy your job so much?" Oh sir, it's you, it's you.

I stole a glance of myself beaming in the mirror when I clocked out and saw a young woman's face staring back at me. I don't usually see that. I should beam more often.

How wonderful, Autumn!  The men in your area better watch out, because it sounds like you are going to show them no mercy.  They'll be lining up for the pleasure of eatiing out of your hand.    I love stories like this.

A woman can be very powerful when she knows who she is and how to use her power.  It sounds like you're learning how to do that.

I ran into a guy a couple times in the store last week, thought it was just coincidence but he ended up asking for my number. It was my first time and I was flattered. Only been on HRT 6 months and feel like I have a long way to go but another guy approached me at the mall yesterday. So I'm wondering if I'm progressing better than I thought? I need skills in handling this new area. The second guy was some what aggressive and made it clear he found me hot. After going on about my legs and soft looking skin I awkwardly brushed him off. I am unpreparred for this. So much a girl learns growing up. What they learn over years I have to figure out in weeks and months.
