I agree and I disagree.
I think FFS is an important first step. I agree that breasts don't make a girl, and they do grow. When I reach 2.5 years from the start of HRT I will make decisions regarding a BA, until then I am waiting.
To me, SRS is almost as important as FFS, but I think in a lot of cases, FFS is needed to be accepted. You are right, no one would see your genitals unless you showed them, but for me it has nothing to do with other people. For me, SRS is for me, and whether I am going to show it to anyone has nothing to do with it.
So for me, FFS, SRS, then anything else if you feel you need them.
I completely agree about GRS being very important.
I just think in terms of blending and feeling comfortable around people and living and with yourself, ffs would come first because it has an over greater beneficial value.
GRS in my opinion is really important and I am going to do it as soon as I can and I am sure I will feell more comfortable after this, but life would be easier (and I'd feel much more comfortable) with FFS more than they would after GRS
Btw, I am using GRS as Genital Reassignment Surgery, I hate the gender/sex reassignment surgery term, I think it's completely wrong and insulting.
EDITI also completely agree about laser facial hair removal!
Even without FFS it makes things look a lot better, less embarrassing (even just for me regardless of others), prettier and more comfortable!
Laser is relatively cheap and should be started as soon as someone can.
I been after 2 treatments and I really love it how after each treatment I have about a week or so almost free of all hairs.
Can't wait for when there are no hairs there at all and that it stays that way too!
