Boy, the rumors were flying about Terry Farrell...I guess she never did say exactly why she left. I liked that epi in which she ran into a former lover and wanted to rekindle the relationship. It didn't matter that the ex-flame was a girl, but it mattered that she had been the lover of a different Dax host. That was a cool way to queer up the episode without making a big deal about the gay angle.
