This weekend, I went in to the mall for a makeup consultation at one of the makeup counters at Macy's I chose clinique, because I had previously used some hand-me-downs from my mother-in-law. I had an appointment and went in and I didn't tell them I was TS or anything. So we figured out my skin type. As she was looking at it, she kept saying how I had such smooth skin. The woman with whom I had made my appointment the night before was saying the same thing. So I guess my is good even for a female.

Anyway, we applied a bunch of makeup and I ended up looking very good. I did find out that not removing makeup at night ages your skin.
Well, I got a free gift for doing the consultation and I decided to purchase some makeup. It's about 3-4 times as expensive as the drugstore brands. Today I wore the makeup and it really is superior to the drug store brands. You don't need to apply much to get it to show up. Even the compact that the foundation (which cost $28) was really cool. It has a nice large 4"x2" mirror on italong with a latex sponge for application that should last. The blush came with a mirrored compact as well. I got about 4 items and spent about $80 altogether adn along with the free samples, that gave me a lot to work with. I even gathered together my hand-me-downs and found a nice shade of lipstick. Anyway, I really happy with my new makeup and I'm starting to take more pride in my face and it is definitelty looking much better. Oh, and the eyeliner doesn't smudge like the old one I used, which is really nice.
