Hi, I'm new to this site, although not so new to ->-bleeped-<-. I've had a counselor for the past two and a half years, and have discussed gender dysphoria with her for the past year or so. I recently have come out to my immediate family and a few close friends. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, so I'm pretty lucky in that regard. :)

As the title says, I'm college-aged. I'm studying anthropology, primarily in the medical field, and am a junior. I'm in an exploring period of my life, both mentally and physically. I recently came back from a trip to Mexico where I presented some research I did in a group on child nutrition in an inner city school. I'll be going to France in a couple weeks, where I'll let my hair grow out and decide if becoming a woman is something I want to pursue.

Hi Anthrogal, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 4500 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hugs and Love,
Janet

welcome I did a lot of exploring in college too!

I'm a senior so will be graduating soon but keep trying some new things it's a good time to probably.  I haven't gotten too much crap over it!  Better than the real world I'd think :]

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I love the college atmosphere, that's why I'm hoping to become a professor hopefully before I'm 30.
