Does anyone have any experience with wearing womens t shirts? I havent had much experience with wearing feminine clothes apart from a bra i used to secretely wear. Will a girls t shirt fit okay with a slim 20 year old guy? Will it be that noticeable?

the thing i've most noticed is that it can be too short sometimes, and especially if it's kind of tight it will ride up even more. (i'm assuming you're talking about the 'slim fit' female style t shirts?) uh, don't know if that's exactly answers your question in anyway, but something to think about at least

All of my t shirts are lady's or junior girls. Yes. Some are too short but tight to emphasize my body line.

I wouldn't think it would be very noticeable. Sure someone is bound to notice, but just gotta have confidence in what you wear.
I manage to get away wearing tight-fit clothes, got away with wearing a womans tshirt (although it was a band shirt) and Im a slim built 21y/o.
Go for it I say, just start out with something that isnt so obvious and work your way up from there.

I've go to admit, I was unaware there was a difference between men's and women's t-shirts besides color and what was said on them.  Of course, it's among the men's tees where I always see women shopping.  So...they're more form-fitting?  I'll have to check them out. 

womens tshirts are more form fitting. I have the better luck buying jr's because the tend to have more length. In my pic Im wearing a jr's shirt and it fits great! good luck!

The sleeves are much shorter and the neckline is thinner along the stitch and more open in general (not quite scooped, but much more so then a mans t).

If you're looking for something that isn't a give away, I have yet to find an acceptable woman's t to wear while in boy mode. Old Navy is about the best I've seen.

I wear all girls clothes all the time, regardless of how I'm presenting. Tshirts are the *only* thing that I leave as boys b/c, honestly, girls t's are very noticeable.

I've got a lot of women's tee's, but to be honest: They really do emphasize your body shape. That means that, yes, I do look more muscular in them. However, that's because of my own body-shape. If you're a very slim person, I don't see why you shouldn't wear them. If you've got a large chest and shoulders like me, you might want to be a bit more careful with picking the right tee.

For me:
Pro's: They make my waist look smaller, which makes my hips look wider.
Cons: They make my upper torso look butch.

of course it will look feminin, which would be expected?  I own a few for myself, and have yet to wear them out-- But i did purchase a girl's jacket today which i really like and plan to wear to my next mtf meeting. It's definitely a good feeling to own some girl's clothes. I feel comfortable in them..
I'm also a slim 20 yr old (almost june 23rd) so in regards to it being noticeable will really depend on your current style. For me, i wouldn't say it's too out of the box..

Most juniors style shirts are very long and if you have small hips, they wont ride up as much. Of course you would have to buy a size or two up for shoulder room, for some reason juniors shirts are made for people who do not have any shoulders at all whatsoever! I am a size s/xs in the waist and chest but have to go with a medium most of the time just so my shoulders fit and so those mock short-sleeves don't rape my armpits.

I wear juniors thin strapped sleeveless shirts all the time.  As long as you don't act nervous and call attention to yourself, no one cares.  At this point I don't try to present myself as anyone buy myself which is a fairly slim but muscular guy.  I am very comfortable in women's clothes as they are just more comfortable and better fitting.  A big difference between what I usually wear and the equivalent guy's shirt is the neck and back.  I don't recall ever seeing a sleeveless guys shirt that wasn't a racerback and is always high in the back.  The front of what I wear is usually a lot lower cut and more square and the back is much more open and low cut.  It is definately more feminine looking without a doubt but I have never had a bad experience or a second glance.

I have a tight juniors gray sleeveless with micro straps that my wife thinks looks really good on me and says that I should wear it out but not quite sure if I am ready for that.

Good for you, Amy. You are fortunate to have such caring support from your SO.. And IMVVHO it always helps to have another woman help with some fashion guidance.. 4 boobs are better than 2
     While i could never pass in public, i have sometimes work women's denim shorts and a woman's denim jacket out attracting zero notice. Some of the shorts are a little shorter [but not all], and may be a bit tighter... the jacket buttons the female way, but as i said, they attract no notice. As other women here have said more eloquently than i can, it's usually more about your confidence and how you carry and project yourself than the 'official' gender of your outer clothing.

I have a few t-shirts, and they are a bit smaller and shorter (in length).  The sleeves are definitely much shorter.  I tend to wear t-shirts when it is cool rather than a tank or cami.

Women's t-shirts are far more diverse in their style. I have several styles of t-shirts. Most are for juniors, but some are for aged or ... how about this?

I guess it was for maternity something  , but very comfortable. Usually I wore it indoors, but could try outdoors in summer

Although I haven't started HRT, I have reasonably pronounced moobs, which are really pronounced in womens T shirts, it's great!

I finally wore the micro strap shirt out.  Was only in the car but I did have to stop for gas.  Didn't get so much as a second glance from anyone including the gas station guy.

Women's tee shirts are more form fitting and generally have shorter sleeves.   If your not careful, they'll accentuate all the wrong parts of your bodies. (Especially if you aren't the fittest person in the world!)

As Vexing mentioned, having breasts help the fit a lot!

New here but we have the same taste in tanks.http://www.flickr.com/photos/21162417@N07/4501611101/#  I have been wearing the thin straps for about a year now and the only commeent I have got has been "are you wearing a GQ tank it kinda looks like a girls tank" but that was from a close friend and nothing further.  I love the low cut backs.  My wife likes them too but I do not wear the really thin straps by themselfs but have no problem undr a light colored shirt though.  Also i found that marathon runners in Africia have been wearing them for years and have picked up a few.  Here is a link

Probably some of my most favorite articles of clothing en femme are ladies tee's. I can never pass them by when on the sales rack! Black, tan, blue, brown, white...they all work for me. With a molded cup bra underneath, jeans, sandals, my hair in a ponytail and I'm ready!
I'm still fairly slim, not a lot of 'definite' muscle tone, so my bare arms look mostly femme over masculine...but as long as I don't flex!

Woman's t's are all I wear now, as of now sometimes I guess I look a bit too broad on top to be wearing them but I don't really care it is what I like to wear.
