I just found out that my mom is taking me off of her insurance because she won't support my transition in any way. This means I will be paying out of pocket to see an endo from now on. Can anyone give me an estimated guess on how much it would be to see an endo without insurance? With insurance it would be $25.00 for me... so much for that.
That truly sucks if your mother is actually doing this. What shes doing is flat out wrong. Maybe you need to find a meeting that specialized in this kind of situation... to help educate your mother with what is going on with you and how you're trying to change to the person that you're suppose to be. The girl that she knew never existed. It was all pretend.
I am on medicare and I see an endocrinologist but for a whole different reason
What's good about medicare is that they assign you a login user name with password. you can sign in to see what you were billed with.
Here's the bill to which Medicare got billed for the blood test that I have gotten recently for a thyroid condition that I have.
