So I went Christmas shopping today with my mum when I decided I wanted to buy myself something. Im sick of spending money on everyone else at Christmas  :P. I went into Topman because I remembered there were some shoes that I liked. I openly wear mens clothing so I was happy to look for clothes with my mum being there. When I found the shoes my mum told me to go get a shopping assistant to get the right size. I suddenly became very aware of myself. I was wearing a large black coat that hides my chest and a skater-like beanie hat so i looked rather masculine. As much as I wanted to be seen male I knew that if my mum was around and someone used a male pronoun it would be very embarrassing because I knew she would correct them. I decided to take my hat off and unbutton my coat so that people could easily see my chest and instantly think I was female. When I went up to a guy who worked there and asked for the right size he said "Ok Mate." Now for people outside the UK in Yorkshire a man will usually refer to another man as "mate" or "pal" and refer to a woman as "love" so by him saying mate I knew he thought I was a guy even though im sure my breasts could be seen.  As I continued to try the shoes on he did keep calling me mate and pal. Thankfully my mother was oblivious to everything as ever and didnt hear him. If I ever try to buy shoes again I dont think i'll bring her along :)

Dressing is one of the difficult problems for me as it would be difficult to go shopping en femme. Are we allowed to put the dresses, skirt, tops on in female changing room in the shops? it would be so embarassed. Do you go shopping with your female friends? I guess it would be easier for you as you are so younger. I know that the staff should be helpful , but the customers may feel weired. what do  you think of that?By the way, for me, i feel not comfortable to wear a legging or tight jean. do you have this problem? Some trans-women recommended orchidectomy is a good choice as it stops the male hormone and the scrotom shrink. A lot of Thai transgender girls had it done at the age of 12-15. It would be more easier for dressing up on tight legging, jean or dresses. I may even consider it as well.
Which shop do you normally go for shopping? M&S, Denbenum,Asda, tesco or Primark?Any good recommendation?
