I wrote to the doctor and recieved a return email that night. Wow. It surprised me.
I hope to get the awnsers I need to understand what happened post surgically and what can be done to recover.
His web site does say he can help those that have a "C" difficulty.

Imagine an umbrella, the covering represents the skin and the spines are the nerve endings that attach to the nerve shaft.  Well in my case, I lost the covering and the spines, leaving me with only the shaft. I dont believe that they can be replaced, but I am not a doctor (well maybe in the bedroom, but that would be TMI)

Its a LONG time till October......

according to what I posted a while back in the orgasm thread, the dorsal nerves are preserved as a clitoris, so even if there is some loss of clitoral bulk those nerve roots are still present. That would seem to be true since you said you still have the capacity for achieving orgasms. Perhaps the nerves will mend over time, it seems to be what they do. I hope it all works out well for you Julie. :)

Congrats.  Time will fly--as usual--and you'll do fine.  It's nice in Montreal in the fall, too.

I have to overcome the, well not really fear, maybe the shyness, of discussing transdgender issues.
You girls have helped a lot.

He's very charming, a joker and very compassionate. You should have no problem feeling comfortable enough to talk to him.

He was wonderful to me when I had my GRS with him. Though it was over 10 years ago it seems like just yesterday.
