"Just going" on a trip works for some people. But it's a risk you take whenever you go without a clear plan. I may be overly prudent, but I would advise against doing such a thing unless you have something really solid to rely on if a worse-case scenario comes.

So, well, I would kind of recommend prudence, even though I haven't really read through your other posts and I only remember that your situation is quite hard on the financial side.

I really get the impression that this post was useless after all. Just try to be careful with whatever you do, I guess. ^^'

I already said you could come here to central Pa amish and mennonite and farmer country. However, that may not be your cup of tea. I wouldn't blame you. This month is pride month and well that can be fun in a city with a pride fest but then you get the strange ones too. Look for the rich drag queens or CDs as they seem to be on better footing than us full time TS's.. however, some of us are ok if you get lucky. Oh change your oil every 3000 miles religously. hugs  ;)

^This. I think you should plan a "Okay, I will travel, there, then there, then there, for X months. Then I'll set down there and get work/school/whatever."

You do what you want, and truly, for some people, it's been the most enriching experience of their lives to "just go". But make sure you "just stop" at some point. Don't "I'll see when I'm there"; it's too risky. Have a plan for after; don't wait for an opportunity. Murphy's Law states that those will probably not come if you arrange it so that you would need them. (This isn't serious, but the bottom is: try to depend on chance the least possible.)

It wasn't easy in a RV i use to own and a car is harder. Many places won't let you sleep in your car. In my RV they have too because it was my house. Yes pick places to go to then go there then be able to get back etc etc etc

Well, I guess we can't stop the power of adventure. Just make sure you stay careful.

Genivieve

You seem like such a good soul caught in a bad circumstance. If you thin you will make it down to LA please contact me. My sister has am empty home and is very open minded. Her last boyfriend of 3 years had gender dysphoria. At the very least we could hang out and I'd gladly give you whatever I can to help.
Maybe even hit the TG scene in West Hollywood. Of course we'd have to chat first. Message me and I'll give you my info. Please be careful and take care.
