hmm well what kind of type of person is it?

how long in trandition?

gay/straight
how was the comming out for parrents?

I thouth about a character who got suporting friends but not suporting famely, and also alot of hatecrimes going on every day.

Hahahahah slow down, it's okay.

So:

If Evan was born Eve (who identified once as a woman who likes women(lesbian)) but now identifies and acknowledged he is a man that likes women then Evan is straight.

If, however, Evan identified as a man and likes men then Evan is gay.

Okay to sum up the character.

Born as Eve.
Realize at a young age that something was off.
Changed to Evan.
He finds women hot.
Parents totally outraged at him.
Evan left to go underground and start helping others like himself hide from persecution.
Now he has built himself up as a thorn in the side of the bad guys as he's very good at making their prisoners dissappear.

So... how to hint that he was a she.

Actually.  In the beginning of the game, someone has to get baddly hurt inorder for them to stay behind and recruit a new character.

So if Evan got baddly injured and then refused to have any medic or doctor take a look at him in fear of his secret getting out,
Would that work? 

perhaps, start your hints out very subtly, like someone feeling they knew him in the past but can't remember where, or ask him if he has a sister.

Yeah, that'll work.  I think I can add that in into another conversation so its less obvious.

Now, Evan hasn't had any real surgery or hormone changes because they are almost imposible to get in the game world, meaning he still has breasts.

How would a Evan react to things like getting hit on unexpectedly?

oh I misunderstood as he would have got pretty far with that thing...
well if he haven't got surgery he might have a big hoody on, or something like that to cover it and probebly not liking people to touch him like hugging, and so on (know many trans people who sensitive about that.)

I understood that to already  be the reason. Your flash back idea would ony work if you added amnesia to the story. I feel that would be too much but its not my game.

You do not need to have amnesia to get flashbacks.
There are many things that could trigger memories. Some foods, some places make me remember things from when I was little too.

So for Evan as far as little hints go, if he can't get T or surgery, he'd be binding and such. So wouldn't want anyone to touch his chest or bump into him there- you could have a scene where someone just bumps into him and he gets real pissed or standoffish to overcompensate in case they felt anything. He would have a big personal space issue probably and wouldn't like anyone up in his face, maybe paranoid about not having facial hair.

Oh here's a good one. So in this society there is very strict conformity, say for example he has both ears pierced from when he was younger and female to his parents. This might be really abnormal for a guy to have in this world, so maybe people could comment on it - he might get defensive and say it was an accident? Another hinty thing could be using the loo. Perhaps in comedy form or something, maybe he needs to wee but can't do it in front of anyone so goes off alone and gets ambushed?

Someone could ask if he had a sister, because they recognise him-  he could say she died?

Perhaps he could be seen by a civilian, who wants to bribe him because they knew him as Eve and would rat him out? So something like ''I will tell them who you really are'' - so it's not totally obvious to his companions/ to the player.

Even just a character concept, backgrounds, weapons, vehicles etc. Also though nowhere near as talented as VannaSiamese I do electronic music- I am a big Nobuo Uematsu fan and I reckon I could make some badass battle music for you.

I was contacted by another member here and they gave me an idea for a flash back scene.

After he changed to Evan, but before he went into exile, he was discovered.  The punks who found out that he was a she tried to 'fix' him through torture and other things.  The final one would be shock treatment.  This is when Evan found his power, absorbed the electricity and fried the whole place in a fit of rage.  The scene ends with the lights slowly flickering out, as Evan kneels on the ground, holding himself and weeping as the final light flickers and dies above him.

This is definatly an M rated game... and I might have to put a disclamor at the beginning.

oh theres alot of hard moment, also remember to add some good times.

I agree with Natkat, there should be a lot of acceptance and good feeling between Evan and the good guys.

I think the idea of him pretending to shave whilst he is with others is good. Or maybe someone notices how he has fine fair on his face but not stubble or what not. There was a thread here about how some start shaving before T because the light hair on face is a give away, guys are either shaved or with beard, they don't have light face down (if you get what I'm talking about, can't think of the right word for it).

What kind of clothes / armour do the characters wear? If it's stiff armour perhaps he is reluctant to take it off even if it's damaged and needs fixing. That could be another hint, to hide body shape etc. Also he might be defensive about his height or if he has small features.

Perhaps he gets teased about his height, lack of facial hair, small features, voice etc a lot by his friends (who see it as harmless fun, more insinuating that he looks really young, rather than like a girl) and he laughs it off with them. (This will also make it clear to the player that he is slightly different, rather than it possibly just being the art style etc)

Then an enemy/outsider mocks him for it by calling him a girl or gay or something (not knowing he's trans), and he gets visibly angry/defensive. At that point his friends (& the player) would realise it's actually a real sore point for him. Perhaps they stand up for him then, and when they're joking around later make a point to tease him about something else instead, his weapon skills or something.
