See now, with your correction there I end up parsing the sentence as saying that perhaps it's the pizza that might be trans.

I don't care what Jess is in terms of her/his gender unless they want to advertise it to make a statement in which case a debate about what it is might be of interest. That being said, I do think Domino's knows exactly what market base it is targeting in the commercial and it will have been tested to death first.

As for Domino's... Disgusting. I remember ordering exactly 1 pizza from them and never again. I could see my reflection in the pools of grease on top. Homemade pizza from top to bottom...

My town has at least 10 pizza places in it, none of which are mainstream. Actually, my entire town is notorious for pizza places, drug stores, nail salons, and banks, each of which we have at least 3 of. Our town isn't really that big, mind you. Let's put it this way, it's small enough that McDonald's was able to strike a deal with it that they could be the only fast food place in the entire town. Nevertheless, if you were hungry for pizza, all you would have to do is look left or right and you'd most likely see a pizza place. Not necessarily great-tasting, mind you, but at least it's real.

As for Jess being anything, I'll admit that I may have thought that she might be something, but it's kind of disrespectful to discuss that I think. On the other hand, she did volunteer to go on TV, so she kind of asked for it. Either way, I don't really care. Just another TV spokesperson as far as I see it. It's not like she's the Old Spice guy or something.

Well it's not like something she did out of the goodness of her heart as a humanitarian.  She got paid, scale, with residuals (meaning every-time you see that commercial it's going Ka-Ching in her bank account), and that can add up to a lot of money.  I'm sure she's made more from the commercial than two years of full-time pizza manager pay.
