So a couple months back, my sister missed her period, and from my understanding, it was because she was exercising ALOT. She was out on the trampoline for hours at a time everyday, that kind of thing. I haven't had mine yet, and while it isn't my worst dysphoria trigger, I'd do nearly anything to avoid it. I need the exercise anyway.
Do any of you know if exercising an insane amount will most likely make you miss your period, or does it vary from individual to individual? Would it just make it late or...? oh, and assuming this does work, if I keep up the exercise now, past when my period should've been, all throughout the next month, will the effect be the same? (As in, since my body's used to the exercise at that point, it wouldn't have the same effect.)
Also, would there be any other health-related things that I'd have to watch out for? Like pulling muscles, etc.
Thanks in advance guys.
