I really want to say something like: One Girl's War. But that is already a book title with somewhat more challenging connotations.

Though Cindy's idea is really good.

I had to do this once, for a therapy group. Illustrate a cover and everything. I think I called it Whence Comes This Melody?, from a song from Sweeney Todd. If I had to do it over, I might call it I Saw Him Once, which comes from a song in Les Miserables. Musical theatre, I likes it.

I think I'd do it in 2 books.. The first would be titled 'The man who never was..' and I'm still working on the second books title..

"On the outside, looking in"

...like a kid at a candy store window...but whenever I try to go in (as a kid), I get the hell beaten out of me; later, when I try to go in as an adult, the door just never opens for me. People go in, and come out, but never allow me to get to the door before it closes.

In many ways, my life can be compared to Gollum's. Sorry...not a happy story.

How does this relate to being TG? When I was "a man", I was invisible. People never, ever came up to me and said "Hi!", and when I did, they quickly, politely, left the area. Once I embraced my TG-ness, all of a sudden people are smiling at me, they come up to me to talk, listen to me, and even hug me! Night-and-day difference!

Now if I can just get my "middle finger" whacked off...
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

This is on a lot of our buses, or was for awhile last year anyway. It doesn't map to your situation really, but your words remind me of it.

I cannot make my mind up about a title...

I would like to use the Oscar Wilde quote someone posted a while ago "Be yourself, everyone else is taken". If I was being honest I would go for "Keep yourself busy, it's better than thinking"

Beverley

I like that.

I've thought about this on and off.  "Progress"  "The Unfinished Woman"  "Unicorn Lonely"  Or just "F".
