"On the outside, looking in"
...like a kid at a candy store window...but whenever I try to go in (as a kid), I get the hell beaten out of me; later, when I try to go in as an adult, the door just never opens for me. People go in, and come out, but never allow me to get to the door before it closes.
In many ways, my life can be compared to Gollum's. Sorry...not a happy story.
How does this relate to being TG? When I was "a man", I was invisible. People never, ever came up to me and said "Hi!", and when I did, they quickly, politely, left the area. Once I embraced my TG-ness, all of a sudden people are smiling at me, they come up to me to talk, listen to me, and even hug me! Night-and-day difference!
Now if I can just get my "middle finger" whacked off...
