I'm pre everything, still checking out doubts about my gender. For days I've been looking at the shaving gel I picked up and not having the courage to use it. I don't have manly facial hair, just womanly peach fuzz. Its blonde and not consciously noticeable.but I know peach fuzz is a female characteristic, and that subconsciously people read that. So I shaved it off. I didn't know if it would really make much of a difference but I actually look more masculine. And I love how I look and feel when I look in the mirror. I seriously can't believe what a shift that made. Next step, haircut, buy a better binder, ask the people who know to use male pronouns, tell my brother. The first two will be easiest. It's hard to describe how good I feel right now, how right my face looks compared to how it did look to me.

Thanks  Cal/ Call me Cal. I'm totally stoked.
Tom, I can't say I was feeling calm doing it for the first time, I was sure I was gonna nick myself but I didn't and I think with practice it would be calming.
Sometimes I take one step and can't believe how amazing and confident I feel. This is definately like that.

wheat thins are delicious

Congrats on a step forward.

Before starting T, I loved to shave because it made me feel more manly, now I hate it because I feel like ->-bleeped-<- without my facial hair.

I'm pre-T and I love shaving.  It makes me feel manly, the products make me smell good, and it's great exfoliation.  I notice a huge difference in my complexion and in my acne when I shave regularly.  All that dead stuff gets taken off and my face just looks so much better.
In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity.
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity.
If it's alright, then you're all wrong.

when i shaved for the first time i was elated too and in a couple of days it will be even better you will be able to feel the little stubble of your peach fuzz growing back.

My son, FtM, said the same, even pre-T.  It seems to be a common reaction to doing something cross-gendered for the first time, a bit like me shaving my legs.

Have fun. Pity I can't send you my facial follicles!
