Spent the evening at my sisters with her and her husband, my brother and his wife, all 3 of my nieces, one fiance, and a young male niece-friend from Texas. Had a great time eating, conversing, hugging, drinking, and playing bocce (lawn bowling), then visiting my niece's house and playing with a kitten. First time since full time with all of these folks except my sister, and it was best time I've ever had with them.

I used to always be on edge in male mode.
Real blessing that my sister raised her kids around a MTF friend and a FTM friend, and that one of her daughters is close friends with an androgyne, and that one of my nephews is happy and Gay. They all "get it" without any effort on my part.

One of my other nieces gave me a hug and said "I was so happy for you when I heard about your transition. It just makes sense. This feels so right - you are finally who you always should have been."
