I am 6 ft even and mostly wear 2-3 inch heels these days when I am out. The heels came after lots of self confidence.

Being a pre-jurasaic dinosaur I am far taller than the average 5'8" or so for women in my age group. Thankfully taller women are a lot more common now then it was 30 years ago.

I'm 5' 7" and I never wear heels, I'm still taller than many females in my area (England, U.K) and most cis women here are about 5' 5" on average. I think people are generally taller in America.

5'6"  I dont know y your height is sooo important.  You are who you are and you shouldnt worry what anyone else thinks.  Posture is more important..When I see a tall woman and she has bad posture or a TG/TS then that is more of a "give away" than the height.  It shows that you are not confident with yourself.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and heights!

Im 5'8. Please take a look at this page. It presents a variety of British women who are all of the 'average' weight for UK women of 11 stone (154lbs). The heights range from 5'2 to 6'1! Some are tall, some short, and a couple of them have pretty broad shoulders too, and a kind of thick build.

I am roughly six-foot-one, give or take an inch. Although I'm in the very early stages of transitioning, so hopefully HRT will help me out on this one (and I am aware that lowering height on HRT is a disputed claim).

I don't really think of it as a passing issue. I just hate towering over people. -.-

Same for me, especially with regards to males. That's why I almost never wear shoes with high heels, I prefer sneakers or shoes with rather low heels.

Height matters little, posture and walking the walk much more so ;)

I'm 6'0 and I have no qualms about wearing 3-4" heels :D
although mostly I stick to something a bit more 'down to earth'

I'm 6'1" and actually like my height :D There is nothing more satisfying than being able to tease my 5'3" girlfriend for not being able to reach something due to her height ;D Although...I say hello to open cupboards with my forehead quite often :-X

If she's anything like mine, she's probably got a stool for opening cupboard doors that she puts away right before asking you to reach for something.

Last time I checked (quite a long time ago) I was 5' 10". So it might be a bit less by now. Currently 136 Lbs.

In the shoe department it is a mixed bag of good and bad luck. My size, depending on the type of shoe, is a UK 6 - 6½ or US 8 - 8½. Which is great, except that I also have high arches which makes it really difficult to find shoes that are not flat lace-ups that fit properly and are also semi-comfortable to wear (briefly, a normal foot stands on the heel, ball of the foot and side of the foot. Three point stable. With high arches you stand on the heel and ball of the foot, two points unstable. Makes high heals more difficult). I actually found a decent pair of shoes the other day that are more or less comfortable, I can walk in from here to the train station, look good and that I can wear under a skirt or dress. I am so pleased! They even accept my arch supports. And it only takes a little tape to prevent blisters. I will probably go and buy a second pair.

As for being tall, eh... the Dutch are a tall people, so I really don't stand out that much around here. When I am visiting my relatives in Michigan, yes, then I am taller than most women. In either case, that is the least of my worries.

I wish I was 5' 4" Keaira and I think you are the record holder? I'm 5'7", so just average. I really like your new pic by the way!

Knowing her...I can definitely see that being the case :D
