Good luck Honey, keep in touch.

Cindy

Thanks will try my best - but NOT tomorrow... no breakfast, see my SRS surgeon first for check-up, then Dr Rushapol to decide how much I'll have done --- and CAN afford :)

Axelle I have heard that age affects breast growth.  I've heard that breast growth is more difficult after 65.

You would gain some breast growth if you put on fifty pounds but you have a good figure and that is not good option.

FFS is an expensive painful facelift with some modifications.

You have great hair and it passes but a scalp advance and it will be better.

A chin reduction and brow reduction will eliminate your only masculine features.

You have a beautiful jaw line and nose which are great.

You are very muscular and 38C would lessen appearance of muscular chest.

Face lift makes anyone look younger and you will look 50.

Here is a realistic expectation:

You will appear to be a more feminine looking physically fit 50 year old female with a 38C-32-38 figure with beautiful hair at 5'7".

It makes it easier to get a job when you look younger and prettier too.

You can view it as an investment.

But it really hurts for three months.

And get stubble off with a good electrologist in Thailand!

Start using a  beard trimmer and leave 1/4 inch.

Have you decided on a date?

Thanks for perfectionist detail :)
I do not mean that facetiously either!
Will guess Dr Rushapol will come up this very much the same. Issue is $$$. BUT... just received email of another +/- windfall Euro 6k.
This will help a LOT, BA and face, close to full enchilada :)

Axelle,

Such a great news, looks like god is on your side :) Let us know how did the consultation go.

Hi, this will be short I guess. I am back in my five* hospital bed again, after having spend last night in ICU next to operating theatre.
Operation started at 3pm, and finished at 11pm (8 hours). Finally had agreed on facelift, neck lift, chin reduction, and BA with Dr Rushapol after lengthy consultation. Plus minor labiaplasty as recommended by Dr Kunaporn all done in one op.
Coming to at night, I was vomiting and then some - and THAT was quite sore with my BA, being the painful of the lot. Was told 'saline' was not the 'in thing' anymore, and so we decided on the more expensive anatomical (cohesive) silicone to spread over my 38-size chest and the medium size 315 ml was used. I am not going to have huge knockers, but I think it suits me just fine.
Just before I could get this post finally done, alas I had to vomit again after having eaten a few pieces of watermelon :( Projection vomited all past the small catch bowl and all over MY KEYBORD!!! That is first for me, but as you can see, lucky enough it still works.
Looking at the computer screen made me 'car sick' I guess. So now, I will keep it short.

Greetings from Phuket...

Wow :)
I am so happy for you. Facelift doesn't hurt. The chin can be a bit sore but boobs hurt as hell, especially the first few days. It is good you went for silicone implants because they are much better option over saline. Did you get them under the muscle?  I think the size and the shape are perfect because they will look very natural and still big :)
A speedy recovery sister, we are stronger then we ever thought we are :) I know that you can do it :)

Hi Axelle,

Thanks for the update!  It sounds as though everything went as fast as could be from your arrival to surgery.  What have you thought of Dr. Rushapol so far?  I'm in the process of sending the requisite series of photos for evaluation.

Wow, eight hours in surgery?  No wonder you are in the shape you are in!  I've heard from so many people that BA is more painful than just about anything, and you have now confirmed this.

Wishing you a better appetite and more appreciative digestive track!  Please keep the updates coming.

All best,
Robyn

Thank you all. Yes boobs is the most sore --- but getting better, little by little. I had sub-muscular, surgeon was adamant this is the only way to do it... who was I to argue?
Chin and face not too sore, neither vj labiaplasty. But coming out of surgery I would not have wanted to have one more procedure added. 8 hours is quite enough, and boobs was plenty sore enough too. Not so sure if I will ever do forehead contouring, lower blepharoplasty and tummy tuck... never mind I do not have $$$. Just as well. US$ 14'300.00 all in all, and still brow bossing... maybe just as well, not sure I want look like "Snow White" as surgeon suggested?!?
I guess tomorrow I need to get out of hospital, we shall see.
At least Susan's still works after vomiting all over key board, Outlook and FB all bombed out after clean-up, eish!

Hi Robyn,
in answer to Rushapol question, he is a VERY dedicated and good surgeon in my understanding. He is not talking money, but has VERY clear ideas of what ought to be done. Has very high standard of beauty, and most dedicated as I said. Still young at 43. Yes, BA is more sore, at least initially than is  SRS - but SRS be sore for longer (I think).
Greetings,
Axélle

Axelle,

I am so happy your are recovering fast:) The submuscular implants hurt because the muscle has been stretched and it takes a few weeks until it expands. Once it expands the pain will go away:) But remember you get the best from BA with a submuscular positioning and silicone.
I am very, very happy for you. And don't you even dear to look at your face now, the swelling and the bruising  will make you go insane.

Love you,

Anna

Oh thank you Anna, so much attention for an old girl... but it is nice to read caring words. Just spoke to Helen and her Filipino colleague. Very caring also, trying to find out how I am doing.

They also confirmed Robyn's enquiry. Helen is a South African.

I am now on 2 - 3 pain tablets at day (after meals) and feeling quite a LOT better.
You all take care,
Axélle

Hi-hi, sounds like a nice horoscope, thank you!  :D

PS: and as the pain recedes I feel it was the right decision too. Love my new noobies, just too cute. No need for any bra, just fine i.e. NOT in the way either!

I have been PIH and Dr S is really nice and reassuring in his practice with his staff absolutely amazing.
My Operation was only the start of my journey having my adams apple shaved off and what a great job they did.

Next up for me is a full facial too and aim to do that around Novemeber next year at PIH also.

Good look with your Op Sister and it would be great to see a new photo of you on the board when you are ready.

Kisses x

Thanks, Axelle, for the great updates!  I get the feeling that you are feeling much better than during the first post-op ICU hours.  May everything continue going nowhere but up!

Well, first hour(s) after anaesthetic are never good really. Then I woke up in ICU and was not sure if there was some added problem...? Turned out it was because of the long time of the op, a precaution as I was told.
Now I'm only feeling pale and clammy, aircon, humidity, off and on, and I think it can be because I have not had any E for over two weeks?
I rather go back on E that putting blood coagualting chemicals in my IV... am I being to mindful? E is supposed to up coag factor, and now they want my BA leaking to slow down. Not that it is bad, but they want to send me home tomorrow. Also here, not many nurses understand much English - one needs to be kind and patient to get one's point across.

Axelle good to see you writing!  I could open my mount about 1/4 inch but was hungry and ate pancakes and scambled eggs second day after surgery.  Are you starting to eat?  Food helps you heal.   Do they use head garments for compression?  Do your doctors make you do massages in one week?

Hope you get better soon!

Can/could open mouth right after surgery to fit in a grape that be 1/2" right?
Surgeon discussed with me not to take off too much chin for aesthetic reasons, so not to look like some birth-defect, fleeting chin... and so I ought to have smallish scar under the chin, and not 3 days liquid food to follow, for much longer scar inside mouth and lots more swelling. I agreed with his assessment. My appetite has returned. I could eat without vomiting after morphine in IV was stopped. Now waiting to have some Thai breakfast (I hope).

Got no compression head-garment but am all plastered up with surgical tape, having now 7 tubes running out of me. One each side of temple area, one smaller one from chin, and one for each breast. All are connected to 'vacuum baubles' size of apples sucking blood out, catheter for urin, plus Antibiotic IV.
Spend 1/2 day/night in ICU hocked up to 101 ECG wires and what not...

No idea about massages, I will hear today my 3rd full day in PIH.
I sure being filled with all sorts of juices, blood thickening, saline solution, with morphine first 2 days, antibiotics, and now 3 x 1 1/2 pain tablets per day. Just so to give you guys some idea...
The blood thickening is to stop leaking from wounds I'm told...

Today I may be allowed to walk, get out of bed, not possible with all the tubes and baubles hanging from me like some weird Xmas tree. Eish!

Anyone still consider this to be 'fun'? Well not me this morning. Did sleep very little almost none, starting to stink of all this stuff they put into me. Now I'm waiting for morning quick wash by nurses.

Ciao for now,
Axélle
PS: Thai breakfast = American breakfast for all I can see, eish, eish.

Axelle you told me it is very little doctors shave off in surgeries.  I am sure Doctor shaved very little of your chin but it will look different in mirror.

I was hungry after a few days and had to push food into mouth and swallow.  I enjoyed walking after a week but had to keep it short or my chin swelled up.  First week was worst.  Then it got better each week.  Now you can tell us which hurts more FFS or SRS.

I could not chew for two weeks but I was hungry and never vomited.  What are Thai meals for patients? My face looked like a chipmunk for a week but it did look different.  I liked many of changes and it took many months for healing.

Seems like you are doing better than most patients.  Hope you packed a Knob Kerry to beat off guys!

Take care!
