Apparently both Keen's and Colman's are owned by big companies.

I got some Colman's mustard.  It comes in a very small jar, like the size of an aspirin bottle, 100 grams.  Tiny.  Expensive per ounce.

I have not tasted it.  I will try it eventually on some food.

At least I was able to get it cheaper than the current online price, a small victory.

We are here because some of us must find it interesting enough to share their thoughts about mustard.

That is the only viable answer!

We know that you are not complaining.  Sometimes some topics are apparently interesting.
It is just the way it turns out.

Sparingly, Chrissy. If you use Colman's to do a "hotdog squiggle"...you have my respect. 🤣

Okay.  I will just put a dab on something.  Perhaps a ham sandwich?

Common Yellow Mustard (or soy sauce) is good to put on a burn supposedly, let it sit for about 15 minutes.

I wouldn't want Colman's on my skin for fifteen minutes! It would probably CAUSE a burn, not help with one. 🤣

Keep some French's yellow mustard (or similar) on the shelf for burns.

It works wonders on a hot roast beef sandwich. Ham is also nice. I like it on pork pie, but I am guessing you don't get those over there.

The jars are small because a little really does go a long way. You only really want a tiny amount. I did see a video where an American guy did the hot dog squiggle Dev spoke of. He thought it would be akin to American mustard. He couldn't speak for 10 minutes and went through a whole box of Kleenex.

I will use just a dab when I do use it. Looks like it costs less than two pounds for 100 grams there in England.  More than four dollars here, some places over six dollars.

Yeah... it's way cheaper here. The export thing is meh. It's eminently reasonable in the UK.

Kind of like Hendo's. It's a kind of relish only sold in my hometown of Sheffield. It's like Worcestershire sauce but so much better. You can't get it outside of Sheffield, even in the UK. Outside of Amazon, where the price is exorbitant.

I gave some to one of my friends down in Kent and she was literally like "No wonder people in the south are so miserable."

I am curious, what kinds of things you folks have that we would struggle to get.

I do not know what would be hard to get there.  Perishable or refrigerated foods?
We do have good things.  Such as Ritz crackers.

I've seen that on a menu somewhere. Think it was on a gourmet burger in a pub or something.

We have those in the UK, too.

Do you have anything where you live, Chrissy, that's like a staple and little known thing? Like... seared osprey burger, or fillet of otter... or... you know, something like that?
