I'd like to think these young people and their families can come here and not find the site looking like a barroom.
And thank you for saying it. As important as the site is for me as a support in my process, it's become an integral part of life for my entire family. My wife has an SO membership and posts semi-regularly and for my son eight year old, Susan's is about normalizing something that he isn't otherwise exposed to where we live. And he reads more of the site than people would imagine.
My son instantly recognizes people's avatars and nicknames, enjoys playing the Fun & Games threads with me, and revels in all of the Bad Jokes that I deem fit to share with him (and some that probably aren't). Oh, and lest I forget, thanks to Miss Bungle, he's watched several episodes of the Get Along Gang on YouTube

.
The other day, he asked me if he could join a Susans for kids.
It's important that we keep the real one family friendly.
