I envy Canadians, Europeans, and pretty much everyone from every civilized country in the world.

Yeah. I like a lot of things about the US but the healthcare system is not one of them.

You mean you don't like the insurance scam system that we have!?

In the UK we look at the US health care system and think "If they're paying thousands of dollars a year for insurance wouldn't that cost them more than an increase in taxes?"

I don't actually know what the tax brackets are like over there, but here everyone is covered for necessary medical procedures (not most plastic surgery) regardless of income.

here income tax is
20% on income below £32K ($53K) a year
and 40% on any further income between £32K ($53K) and £150K ($250K)
I refuse to live in fear! Come hell or high water I will not back down! I will live my life!
But you have no life.
Ha. Even that won't stop me.

I will protect even those I hate, so long as it is right.

But socializing health care in the US would take profits away from starving insurance companies...  :'(

Yeah, the poor schmucks would have to get by on a measly two billion dollars a year.

Breaks your heart, doesn't it? ::)

I know 40-60k or so is 25%, but after that is not much increase.

Who will Calder Cougar have a crush on? ???

I have an idea...at this point, that's all it is. But it's flip-flopped. Erica Porcupine will be the one with the crush.

Thinking too much again, even when I should be having fun with my new friends.

I am scared about my consult tomorrow. Like, terrified, nauseated...I'm scared he's going to say I need another appointment with the gender clinic. That means another 9-10 month wait, JUST for the letter, and then the surgeon's waiting list...

I've been at the gender clinic for three years. On two occasions now, they effed up my top surgery referrals and now, having my surgery funded by the government is not an option as there are literally no doctors left (at least, that's what they told me). I don't want to have a longer wait or to have them screw up a third time somehow.

I actually might be sick. -_- I doubt I will sleep tonight. If there is a God I hope he will at least let this part of my transition be an easy path.

Ireland? Nonono, you got it all wrong! :D Besides most of the treatment is free here. At least the hormones are, along with the paperwork. I thiiink you need to pay like $50 for surgery and that's it, lol.

Wanna talk about yesterday? As usual, Spain is not on the list.

I must be the only person that uses waste containers, and yesterday, as usual, they had to burn them. I don't care if they attack a luxury hotel or whatever, but damaging city communal property really pisses me of.

Sorry, thought you were Irish.
Well I can barely afford that. I'm scraping by om what little I have right now, it has to last me the next two months. And then I have to find out what's going to happen this summer.

What specifically about yesterday?
Right now it's like my insurance; covers everything except trans stuff. Under Zapater I tjink that would have changed, no chance with Rajoy.

Basque seperatists, seperatists in general tend not to have many brains when it comes to their terrorist actions.
Not saying I condone them at all, they could just be more thought out.

Not them this time. Troika visit, the king... A combination of the most hated individuales from the european community and Spain. Along with the protests the usual morons started breaking stuff, burning cars... And armed people on top of the Guggenheim. Add to that the fact that one week ago a woman was beaten because they though she was transsexual (she just happened to be tall, strong and with brow bossing), and we don't classify as civilization anymore.

BTW, I'm done with drinking again. After two months drinking a beer bottle per week and last friday getting a bit too much heavy alcohol (one drink), I'm back to a clean stage. This seems to be a pattern with me. I get bored with alcohol, I quit, 6 months later I get a beer, I drink one weekly and two months later I stop again...

So how long do I have to be on HRT before my s*** starts to smell like roses?
Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!

I think you need to actually eat roses for that to happen.
