I know and I love you too!

And in getting stuff out of the downstairs bedroom, the sheer number of pictures is staggering. I also just came across my dad's old baby book for him and the original birth announcement section in the Augusta, Ga paper  back in '36 had a white section first then a colored section for births. Its good that we've come a long way since then.

ha, just found some old pics of me from school and when my little sister and I went with our grandparents to Kentucky to see our oldest brother graduate basic from Ft. Knox.    I looked like a little dweeb, cute maybe, but still a dweeb.

Yeah, you're right about that! Nice to find photos of your dad, we all need to keep those memories alive in out hearts, especially the good times we once had with loved ones.

What was with those suit jackets for kids with the little patch thingy anyway?  School pics a few years later had me with long hair and wearing a tshirt under an open flannel shirt, lol.

Yeah suit jackets on young boys is really nerdy alright! My folks sent me to Catholic school with salt & Pepper corduroys and dark blue sweater over a white shirt, they really destroyed my self esteem, which came back once I was BMOC star fullback in high school. I think I excelled because I was really a very angry kid.

Before I moved here, I wanted to start over where no one knew the past I viewed as shameful. Now, I want to tell people my past and am... not proud of it exactly, but it is mine.

My past is beyond shameful but all of that in retrospect is where wisdom comes from, if we deny it as if it never was then we don't grow from the experience. Solomon was reputed to be the wisest man in history in his old age and had 500 wives and concubines at one time during his youth, we can imagine he learned a thing or two from that awful mistake!

How delightful, a transition legal hoop. -_-

Since the job hunt has been less than fruitful, I have to supplement my hunt with in-person applications (as opposed to online) for convenience stores, grocery stores, etc. Turns out these in person applications want your high school information and will verify that you did in fact graduate high school.

I did graduate high school but they aren't going to find any information on me, only on "her."

This has never been an issue because online jobs don't ask that stuff, and as for jobs that I'm qualified for (as opposed to overqualified for), they never asked about high school because they require university degrees.

I should also take it as a bad omen that there's no room for me to list my Master's education on any of these applications...they ask for the start and end date of your Bachelor's.

Oh well, I'm going to call the government and explain the high school diploma situation. I may have to call old employers in the service industry and out myself to them too, if I'm going to apply for jobs that will verify that work.

I hate being trans.

my allergies are crazy and my voice is a bit off. I keep wanting to think it's the T but that's just silly. It's only been 2 days since my first dose.

You ever notice how, when you have something you absolutely have to do ASAP, everything else suddenly becomes a whole lot more interesting?

I have. :T
