How delightful, a transition legal hoop. -_-
Since the job hunt has been less than fruitful, I have to supplement my hunt with in-person applications (as opposed to online) for convenience stores, grocery stores, etc. Turns out these in person applications want your high school information and will verify that you did in fact graduate high school.
I did graduate high school but they aren't going to find any information on me, only on "her."
This has never been an issue because online jobs don't ask that stuff, and as for jobs that I'm qualified for (as opposed to overqualified for), they never asked about high school because they require university degrees.
I should also take it as a bad omen that there's no room for me to list my Master's education on any of these applications...they ask for the start and end date of your Bachelor's.
Oh well, I'm going to call the government and explain the high school diploma situation. I may have to call old employers in the service industry and out myself to them too, if I'm going to apply for jobs that will verify that work.
I hate being trans.
