The reason for the rant is this, I DO NOT FAIL. I just want to know how much work is ahead of me, so please be honest.  The shot with my nasty beard is so that maybe my jawline could be seen.  No HRT yet.

Michaela,
The comment I DO NOT FAIL got my attention. Having formerly spent a couple of tours in the paratroops during the Vietnam War I naturally appreciate a can-do attitude having deleted the word "CAN'T" from my own vocabulary many years ago. So let me say that anyone can become successfully feminized and look like a woman and even live full-time as a woman, it just takes a planning phase, lots of money, time and patience. The fact that you are a great physical specimen to begin with helps. If and when you get on HRT much of the muscle mass will decrease and you'll soften up. If you're planning to do this it's best to get started on getting the beard cleared right away because it takes awhile and multiple sessions. You'd do well with laser with that dark beard rather then electrolysis which takes an eternity. If you are a US veteran you can get counseling and endocrinology at VA as they do treat veterans who are trans.
Good luck! ~Shan~

Michaela Wimsy, it looks like you have a very slim petite body. That's definitely a positive thing. That's all I can really see from the pics though. The beard, of course, entirely prevents you from passing though, but that's an easy fix (i.e. shaving).

So...I'm considering going out for the second time ever, but first I want to find out if anyone thinks I pass? Just on the off chance that my passability has gone down since the last time I went out (which I know is totally impossible, but I'm just paranoid).

If not, can someone give me some insight as to what it is that is unpassable? I keep thinking it's my lips, but most people tell me that my lips are fine.

Riversong,

You have got great lips and eyes, I would consider leaving your headband behind and putting on a bit of makeup. The headband enhances your forhead and you have a bit of brow bossing. I would suggest maybe a necklace to detract attention from your sholders which look a bit broad. Other than that, you are fine. :)

Good luck girl!!

Thanks for the advice and the compliments. I actually posted a thread before about my shoulders and I was actually told that they're normal.

I'm glad to know I've got a few things going for me ^^

Cute! Where have you been? Once you get out of the oil roughnecking business and away from the all male tough guy environment you might be able to soften up, smile and be more yourself and connect better with your feminine side. Not a bad photo though but you'll get better as you get time in a different environment.
Just been busy with work. One day I can make it full time and not hide it for fear of by extension losing m job.

I really want to get my eyebrows done though.

They are not very broad. I guess the top may emphasize them, that or I'm seeing things that are not even there as usual.

I think you have a lot of potential. :)

Yea, different people see things differently. I think it's mostly how muscular they are on the side, which you can't really see in the other pictures.

Thanks :)

I don't think your shoulders are too masculine, and the muscle will go away, just don't do any workout there... I actually stopped working out some week and I can see some changes :) and try yoga yeah but your face si super feminine too, I don't think you need any FFS at sall maybe just some make up if you are into that.

Riversong, at first glance I don't see manliness in your face. And you know Evelyn K isn't about the BS when she critiques.

You're also not wearing makeup (I think) I wonder what sort of magic it can do for you.

I think dangling earrings are needed and will also enhance the overall presentation.

Your face is soft, how long on the mones?

Nice lips, nice facial features all 'round, strong looking arms but not bad since I've seen plenty of women with arms just like your's (at least they don't look all veiny like mine used to when I was still freshly out there), and ooh, legs, thighs look good (I'm always looking at the thighs). And yeah, drop the headband, put on some cute earrings. I know most of the time peeps want to see straight faced pics to better judge how passible facial features are, but I'd still like to see a smile.  :)

Thank you for the comments!  Hoping for hrt soon.  The beard, obviously, I would shave if I went out as female and laser will happen.

The VA seems like the last place I would have thought to check for therapist and endo, I guess the mentality of the military and all.  I have awesome insurance so I guess I feel bad using the VA.  I wouldn't want to put someone out who needs it.  I might have to check that route out though.

@ riversong, you look great!  I am so jealous of how you hold the phone, so delicate!  I have a tendency to hold onto things like they are trying to run away or something.  In one if the photos you are flexing your arm a bit, but the others are fine.

I've thought the same thing, actually :) I've never really worn earrings at all before, but I agree that it'd make a good difference.

No 'mones yet :c It's actually my biggest point of frustration right now, I'm having difficulty figuring out how to proceed with getting hormones in my present situation, so out of my frustration I'm focusing on trying to work up the courage to present as female without them for now.

Wow, I'm sooo glad to hear that! Since my hands are friggin' huge even compared to most guys.

You look great! Very feminine and totally passing, the only thing is that I would suggest to do your eyebrows with make up (pencil or mascara)
