2 words... absolutely nothing!

You are gorgeous Llerret. I can't see anything but girl in your features.

What's probably going on is that you still recognize aspects as your face that were a part of your image when presenting male. Of course, that face is imprinted in your brain after seeing it in the mirror for so many years. So it's only natural that you think you see male there because your brain is still using those old neural pathways that associate aspects of your face with the guy you used to present as.

But trust me, you look 100% woman. Be happy with the person you see in the mirror--she is beautiful!  :D ;D

Maybe that is it? I always look in the mirror and I see a different person but the same person at the same time. It's annoying. And then like people say they see woman but like I don't look like other women. I look different and I feel like it may be androgyny or something. Idk. I get annoyed with it. I need to recondition my brain.

there really is nothing masculine about the way you look. you are so beautiful! I am totally jealous of how good you look, and I think most other women would be too. so keep ur head up. I think we all feel like we all think we look more masculine then we do, because we have seen the male version for such a long time. but trust me you pass and then some!
Thank you so much. I think I am still dealing with a LOT of insecurity from years of being called ugly and not looking how I imagined and things like that. I can't really see what's there because in so caught up with rigid normativity. I need to let it go

You could probably be a model, right now.

If you want to be a model, I'd say go for it right now.  This is how stunning you look.

Don't wait too long.  The opportunity to be young and a model doesn't last forever.

Hugs,
Johanna.

Haha you think so? I don't like like all the other women so I've always been nervous to try. I do plan to audition for ANTM and see what happens. Thank you so much

So, I can't grow my hair long right now which I know isn't helping my case, and I am scheduled with Spiegel for FFS later this year. Right now I am 29 and at 8 months HRT, just wondering how I look with no makeup or wigs or anything else right now.

You're on the road to becoming a total stunner JenP!

IMHO, I KNOW so.  Your beauty is that of a model.  America's Next Top Model may very well accept you.  I feel very happy for you that you plan to audition for them.

So you obviously have thought a lot about this.  You go girl!

There have been quite a few trans girls who have had lots of success in modeling of different types.  I am American, but there I live in Colombia (South America) many young beautiful trans girls are able to be models.  In the United States and other countries this most certainly has been done many times.

LLeret, IMO you have the looks that will make people WANT to see you as a model.  Because guys will be guys with all their "strong 'drives'" (male necessities) and will look at you on TV or in person all day and all night.  And cis females will want to watch you all the times, in part because they are jealous of your looks, and in part to see how you dress and use makeup and your hair styles.

And advertisers look model-type looks like yours...it is big money to them because everyone wants to watch you.  Guys will have fantasies about you, and girls will want to admire your hair and figure and makeup and so on, and compare how THEY look, to how YOU look.

You go girl...I wish you all the best on ANTM...

:)

Johanna.  I am 9 weeks on HRT with small boobs and soft skin and soft newly-growing beautiful hair down the back of my neck, but I will never be able to look like YOU.  Congratulations!
I am female.

yea well we all have insecurities. I still avoid eye contact when im trying to pass because of my insecurity, but you are gorgeous. imo you are one of the most beautiful women I have seen on this site. I would be so happy if my transition goes as well as yours has.

9 months, 2nd time around...  mascara, eyeliner and a t-shirt...  My levels are stagnant and low on all accounts, so I feel like I'm severely regressing... :(

Umm, no, You are not regressing by any means! Look at Your jawline (it has softened down in comparison with Your avatar pic), Your face has that typically female subcutaneous fat, and You have got cleavage, dammit :D. I am at 15 months and not even a sign of that! Besides, You are in Your early thirties, so things might be going a bit slower - in my case it was 9-10 months mark when appearance started to lean towards female - so,please do not worry - many good things are ahead for You :).

So I moved out the other week and now I'm trying to work up the courage to go out running en femme for the first time. Nobody in this area really knows me, although I am surrounded by conservative LDS folks. My anxiety is pretty high, but I've got to start going out dressed as a woman at some time or another. Baby steps right? I guess I'll let you know later how it went or if I chickened out.

Anyway, no makeup on cuz of course I'll be sweating. I know my body is still pretty masculine, but what do you think?

I think You can pull it off :). Running shoes are kinda sending mixed vibe to me, but well, from my own experience, people dont really scrutinise random joggers on the street, especially if You just swoosh past them ("On Your left!" :) ).

Yeah, I don't have any feminine running shoes yet. The run turned out to be pretty uneventful. I saw a few other people, even smiled and waved at them, but they ignored me for the most part. Probably didn't know how to respond to me. Eh, I'll take being ignored over being shot a "what the freak?" look any day.

Today it was just 3 miles since it was my lunch break. Last night I ran a little over 7. I'm still trying to ramp up my endurance and speed, only managing 10 min miles on the longer runs.
