i know sertin ways to be more fem but as you said ive acted as a guy for soooooo long i duno how els to act so it will take me a wile to get out of that.
for me i kinda soul searched and figured out what movements/manner of speech i used to get called a (excuse my language) a ->-bleeped-<-, fairy, or a queer for. I stopped doing these things because i was getting bullied by both my friends and family even though they were my natural manner of doing things.
I would get picked on for how i walked because i bounced a lot so my brother would call me a fairy. i was very feminine with my hand motions and my friends would be like oh you must be gay(like that's even a diss wtf). I am very soft spoken and my manner of speech is very much like a very unemotional snarky girl (unfortunately its too deep for it to be recognized as female), so i remember my friends from my football team in high school were like trying to get me to talk like a guy. i really tried to fit in but it wasn't the most successful thing i have tried.
So i have the advantage that i know what is feminine and what isn't, but i have a hurdle to get over because me trying to be more masculine was kind of a wall that i built to protect me from being bullied. when ever i get over a hurdle i feel really good up about it until i get to the next one.
If you do not have that same level of repression watch women when your out and about. listen to how they talk, not just there voice but manner of speech and hand motions when they are talking. You can also just watch television and youtube videos and try to focus on female characters and their mannerisms. A lot of cultural norms are based of what is seen as normal in the media so if you want normal female mannerism watch womens mannerisms on television.
