Do your worst, my confidence literally can't get any worse than it is right now.
I look like a man and may always look like a man, no matter how long I'm on HRT.
So hit me with your best shot.
Five weeks HRT.

Take a look at my profile pic.

Started HRT on 4-14-15 but it was DIY.
Started real prescribed HRT on 7-22-15 c:

Hun I think you look cute. Do you pass as cis perfectly?? no, not yet. That doesn't mean you won't in the future. And that doesn't mean your not beautiful.

You just started hrt and I think you have a good base. Hormones take time to work. Let them work.

You've got so much potential.  Do you pass perfectly now?  Not really, but if you were out in public, I think you'd get the benefit of the doubt and be gendered correctly.

Give HRT some time and I think you'll be very happy.

Now stand up straight! [emoji14] HUGS!

You're beautiful...take a look at mine, and see what 40 years of T can do! But I am what I am, and darn it I'm beautiful in my own way as well!

*hugs*

I'll be honest with you, I read your comment and my first reaction was as followed
"What? How's doesn't she look convincing?"

You are always harder on yourself than compared to others.
And 5 weeks of hrt is basically nothing so chin up :). I think you have a ton of potential.

Here is my first ever contribution. Had my makeup done by a pro. I kinda didn't like either of the wigs..... 33 here, no HRT yet just some electrolysis. Feel free to give me the good, bad and the ugly. Hopefully HRT and FFS will help a bit with the face situation.

the bottom picture is where its at. I really like the way the wig frames your face. It would be nice if you could grow your hair out and get your hair styled that way. the make up looks nice.

Funny I don't like any of them, my wife said the one with the long wig looked best.

Marly

I'm guessing that your wife is one who looks to hair as a strong beauty point. I'm a bit like that too. the long curls are lovely. But agree that the wig in the second pic does frame your face wonderfully. As for HRT and FFS, you're very cute even right now. I'd wait and just see what HRT does for you first.

I agree with your wife , and think that the long hair makes you look very good!

I think you'll do great typo! I definitely like the 2nd picture the best, but the 3rd is good too. ^_^

Third pic, medium length.

The second has too much of a forehead part imho.

I don't see what you would want FFS for, HRT alone could likely do all the feminizing you'd "need" to "pass" as female. I think that it's probably good that you are getting the electrolysis over with now, I am dealing with that now and let me tell you, it sucks to be a bearded lady for a few days in preparation. Anyways, you look great!

My honest opinion, you look fairly androgynous leaning more towards femme. Surely  I think that if your voice (which I have not heard) were to have a "female tone" than you would come off as female. In addition your mannerisms would be an indicator to people. Either way HRT will likely do wonders for you, if that's the route you choose. Not a magic pill or anything, but seriously, have you seen the before and after of some folks from just HRT?! It's amazing!
