I worked up the courage to have my eyebrows waxed and shaped at a salon and even told the stylist i was transitioning.  They were great and it was the first person i have ever told besides my therapist and the endo office for my appointment on may the 3rd.

Awesome. I did my first Ironman at 30 years old and am hoping I can get my training to the point of doing an IronWoman at 40 in 2 years time. A lot of reconditioning and training in a very different way but will see how I go.

Walked past a girl in a gorgeous dress and stopped and asked where she got it and explained I had a t shirt in the same print . Was super friendly and high fived me for being a cool chick like her. Was only 90 seconds but such a boosting experience.

Woke up to find out I had another growth spurt overnight! Now that I've been at the right levels for about 6 weeks things are really kicking off. It is exciting. (I was quite low before)

Also got some more products to help with my unruly hair, going to test them later and hope for the best. Curse you frizz!

This was yesterday, but exciting, to me, none the less: My new Driver's License arrived! All correct identification and this now gives me my photo ID that I need to complete many of my remaining ID changes. Today is some my medical records and tomorrow are passport and pension records!
My new picture actually looks very good! One more thing that helps me put past in the past!

My strawberry cake turned out pretty nice. I'm going to give it to my new therapist lady, she is skinny as a rail & her birthday is Saturday. Off to have my teeth whitened today, maybe that will help me cut back on decalf coffee that tastes great but is so bad for my teeth. It feels good to be a woman & like always trying to have a nicer appearance & take good care of myself. Maybe a better life soon as I become more of a complete women then maybe one day a new man in my life to enjoy.

Started looking into laser hair removal options. Decided to take some advice of people here and look at Groupon. WOW at the prices!

It looks like I'll be able to get this process started in a couple of months after hunting down a good place through this method and making sure it isn't IPL. I was expecting to have to wait a lot longer due to the pricing.

My therapist loved the birthday strawberry cake I made for her & gladly took it away. YEA! Back to my Atkins diet. I just cannot take that sugar stuff..........

My work had bit of a grassroots wear it pink/purple day today and although it wasn't well publicised I wore my trans-pride flag t shirt to work and felt great . Am now pretty much out to a few people in the organisations lgbt group and getting closer to being out at work.

My new therapist is having fun asking me about previous life. I do not think she has ever met a "drag show queen" In my early years I looked very nice & spent most weekends doing shows at my local club. For me I just enjoyed dressing normal & pretty since my so boring 8-5 job sure would not allow it. Those were great days, I was thin & very sexy. So many men hit up on me, that was exciting......I was very pretty & very happy except there was not enough $ for surgeries, one new life..... It's still nice to be a woman even if I'm older now.

This is a HUGE day for me. I collected my new glasses and will never forget this because everything suddenly upgraded like I was going to HD vision!

I even told the optician that I could actually read a piece of paper on the desk I couldn't before xD

On the way home I kept looking at things and realising how dirty things are. Family likes my frames too which is a bonus!

Back on my Atkins diet & feel good. I sure got side tracked last week with baking a cake & eating some of my mistakes. Oh me that sugar sticks to me like glue. Off to see my electrolysis lady tomorrow for our 2 hour weekly sessions. My face looks a little nicer each week. Life is good. It feels so good to be a woman & look a little better each day & week.

Just finished preparing my taxes, (the filing date is tomorrow). I don't owe the state or federal governments. For historical reasons I won't get money back, but I'm OK with that.

Huge confidence booster today :3

I got my hair cut a little and spent most of the morning out doing some errands. The best part is I got gendered correctly by every single person I spoke to. Some kind gentleman also held the door for me which was really sweet.

Starting to think the glasses and now this tipped the scales a bit more into passing territory and it feels great.

My electrolysis is doing a great job & she also does lots of permanent cosmetic makeup for eyes, brows & lips. I may have her realign my lower lip after plastic surgery last summer. It's healed but it's not a perfectly balance lip line yet. Nasty hairs are going away fast, Happy Dance.

It feels good to be a woman, bitchy some days, happy some days. Life is going very well. I'm happy for that. My body is finally becoming more & more normal. There are Sierra club type ppl & there are GreenPeace type ppl. I'm glad to be more GreenPeace. Some country sheriff threatens to "whip" us for using a bathroom. I say we team together then tar & feather the stupid pee pee cop & throw him out of town, not just complain to ourselves & hide. Anyway that's my $.02 worth.
