I would really appreciate any more feedback or tips on what to improve or work on, since I am taking these pictures down in a few hours!

Given your slim build and reasonably delicate features, I'd expect HRT to have pretty fantastic effects. I'm with others in feeling that long straight hair rarely does us (or most women) great favors, but the fact that your pics already are sending a pretty feminine image with such straight hair can only be a good sign in terms of the subject heading of this thread. With the added impact of HRT, I could see you being able to stick to that look if it's the one you love.

What I take away from others comments is the general impression (and current tendency) to go for more curl, body, layering and variety of shape that tends to be the main trend in women's hairstyles at present. These things always go in waves... next year your style could be on the covers of Vogue, Elle and/or Glamour.

Cool, thanks. That makes me feel pretty good :)

But I am not majorly big on the look! It is just how my hair grows really. All I have done is brush it a bit fancier :P
As I said I hope to get a new hairstyle soon and I expect this will help my style a lot, I really want my hair to be bigger, when I was a teenager if I did not tie it back it was like lions mane massive. It has shrunk a lot since then though. Thanks a bunch for the feedback.

Boy mode

I found the unedited pictures, but they are choppy due to lighting, which is why I edited them.

I'm mostly just worried about how I look with light makeup and my hair at it's awkward trying to grow out stage. Also I've been practicing my voice everyday but it sucksssss. Have only gone out once because I get  too much anxiety.

Also I don't know how to buy clothes or anything. Too scared to go out and don't wanna order online. Any fashion advice?

This too may change, hopefully, with hormone changes. Glad to hear you're not too attached to it, but it is fine hair. I often envied those whose hair was straighter. Had a few comments at times about lion's manes myself, with sort of mixed feelings on the implied gender message, but compensated, since it was also usually the cause whenever someone would call me Ma'am.

Hi, Anisha.  In the top two pictures it appears you have a beard and moustache shadow.  That would be a good place to start cosmetic changes (laser and/or electrolysis).  That directly affects "passibility."

Ok thanks..Ignoring d beard n moustache shadow am i looking feminine enough?

Well, when someone who is pre-everything asks if they could pass, I just say go look at the before and after topic in this forum.

And remember, "passing" can also be culturally subjective.  The idea of what is considered feminine varies.

The topic in this thread is "could I pass one day," not "do I pass now." The answer to that is generally yes, even for those with more masculine features than yours.

What you've done so far resembles a common look for many women today, and the effects of hair removal, and HRT can be quite amazing, especially for someone not too far out from puberty, and you appear to be quite young still. I've posted my general reservations before on the subject of "passing" and the concept is getting a lot more attention lately in trans communities. But in this context, I don't see any reason why most people would question your gender (as being anything but female) once you've gotten further along, maybe even once the beard shadow is less obvious, or you find better ways of masking it until you've had some hair removal done.

The outfit is fairly common as a daytime, casual look, and your presentation isn't actively drawing attention to yourself apart from emphasizing those of your features that are already readable as feminine or at least androgynous. You're also blessed with a nicely rounded face that has relatively few of the sharper features and contours that are often interpreted as male (even though these are features than many cis women have in their own faces).

Personally, I'd avoid drawing attention to my midriff until HRT has had a chance to reshape my body, but for you it's not as distracting as it would be for many of us. Just not a feature I'd want to emphasize myself until I felt more secure. That's probably my problem, not yours.

Well...I'm pre-everything at this point. I feel like the contours of my forehead give me away, which is hard to see in this lighting, along with other features I can not point out. My cheeks are full enough either.

Would HRT help at all with this (makeup of course would help too)? Or am I candidate for FFS?

you're the "cute femme" type of guy, with a babyface and pretty skin.
i think hormones will work gr8 on your face.

just remember hormones can't really change your forehead.
it will make your skin look softer overall but male brow bossing will still be there.

same with nose, jaw, and chin. (the last 2 can look different if you have fat for redistribution)

Yeah I've been worried about my brow too, I use my haircut to disguise it. The guy I like tells me it isn't bad at all, but I can't help but feel weird about it.
I don't know, it's hard to say for sure, but hormones change your looks a bit over time, you could certainly look softer, and makeup could help of course.
You won't really know until you are on hormones for months.

Very nice progress for three months. I can see the real you coming through, with more to come. Three months is a very awkward stage, but it seems to be where the first hints really start to become obvious.  And you look happy.

Looking good.

I can definitely see the woman coming through.

It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

I think many people are candidates for FFS. Including many cis females. That said, some cis females I know bear "more masculine" features than others.

When I started transition, two years ago, I thought I was very, very far, far from becoming something and I would need FFS and everything just to "hint" people a female-ish face. (I've posted photos in this thread)

And the changes came. Subtle they were, all right, but all the redistribution and our body being reconstructed really happened, something unfathomable before. It's just because we don't know how we'll become after starting, say, HRT (some people change their minds and somehow the body really morphs). So in some of my descriptions for profiles I also say "believer". Now I believe :)) But I may be just lucky, I changed a lot from HRT.

That said, yes, as you asked, HRT will help. And about some makeup, did you try? I didn't try makeup for more than a year and a half and now I regret it, because light (light!!!) makeup may give you a better idea if your skin were softer, if your lip-to-skin contrast was higher, and... The eyes. The eyes make a BIG difference when doing makeup.

(and sorry for being too verbose, I am just very happy today) :D

This probably isn't what you're hoping to hear, but you look a bit like David Tennant.
Can I ask you to take another photo when you've added an inch or so of hair? Maybe wearing a brown greatcoat and a crazy grin? [/crush]
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

Speaking of the Tennants, then the new aim can be Stella!
