the good thing with Colin's regen is we didn't actually see him die, all we saw was the middlepoint of the regeneration, so Colin's Doctor could have lived to a good long age and could play the Doctor as he is now, and as we never saw Paul McGann regenerate he can play the Doctor as he is now too
Now I'm going to have to confess I'm not an avid Whovian. I sorta like it, especially Hartnel, McCoy and Eccleston, but find so many aspects seem to irk me every so often. Currently, I just can't follow the story line at all. Though compared to the insulting and stupid acting, writing, direction and filming during the entire 70s and 80s, it's not that bad and in no small part may be due to the way TV schedulers here seem to thing that the order does matter.
But am I not correct in saying that, apart from the Dr and possibly the Master, everyone from Gallifrey was killed in the Last Great Dalek war?
Now given that, I seem to recall that every previous instance of several Drs acting and working together, has always been at the behest of the High whatevers on Gallifrey?
If that's the case, then the only way for the current Dr to bring back earlier Drs, will be to revive them and if he can do that, then presumably he could revive the all good people of Gallifrey?
At this point I have a feeling that someone is going to politiely advise me of such and such episode where this and that was done or discovered making the whole thing possible. I will genuinely look forward to that as I really do not quite underdstand.
