I made a Tandoori marinade earlier in the day (while I could not access the site

) and put in 5 chicken thighs for several hours. Then, while the site was still down, I made some saffron rice with dried chopped dates.
After checking to see if the site was yet available, I broiled the chicken on each side until crispy, then moved to the lower rack and baked at 450F until the internal temperature of the thighs reached 170F.
In the marinade I used a honey youghurt, garam masala, cardomom, cumin, tumeric, garlic, ginger, onion, lemon juice, FGBP. No added salt or MSG.
I did not have any Indian naan bread, so I used pitas instead.
