I'm a school improvement consultant. I work with principals to improve assessment and instruction practice.

Doctor Who or Torchwood?
Doctor Who, all the way!
The correct answer is both! I feel like I don't even know you anymore.  :'(

Chicken or fish?
Star Wars or Star Trek? (there is only one correct answer)
Hockey or curling?
Moose or squirrel?
Marvel or DC?
Ever seen Farscape? If not, you should.
Would you rather play video games or watch TV?
What's your favorite fun thing to do with your son?
Did I ask too many questions? If not, should I ask more?

You didn't say anything while I was typing so I guess I'll keep going.

Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter?
Doctor Who: classic or current series?
Star Wars: prequel or original trilogy?
Who's your favorite Doctor?
Who's your favorite Doctor Who companion?
Favorite Doctor Who villain(s)?
South Park or Family Guy?
PC or Mac?

Okay, I could ask some more but I think I'll stop with those few. ;)

Good to see you like Belgian ;D

There's something about the subtlety of the wheat and the tang of the orange and coriander that makes it irresistable! :D

Alright then, what did you teach?

I'm an early elementary teacher, so I taught everything.

P.S.  The correct answer above is Star Wars.  Amy might have a meltdown if you say Star Trek, I'm surprised she was even able to type it.
 You know me so well.  ;D

Why did you get into education?

I entered the profession to change the world. Instead, I learned humility.

So, you taught, you learned and are now teaching others to do the same? Sounds pretty incredible to me :)

Alright... Portia is an exemplar of cute.

Chicken or fish?

I'm too polite to choose. Chicken-fish chimera.

Hockey or curling?

Hard!!!

Quote from: Amelia Pond on October 20, 2013, 10:13:54 PM
Moose or squirrel?

I'm Canadian. I have to go with Dudley Do-Right.

Quote from: Amelia Pond on October 20, 2013, 10:13:54 PM
Marvel or DC?

If it's a forced choice, I'll go with Marvel, but tbh, my tastes lean to underground and offbeat comics. My favourite artist is Daniel Clowes.

Ever seen Farscape? If not, you should.

Watched most of the first season and then lost track of the continuity. Thought it was underrated.

Would you rather play video games or watch TV?

I do both binge-style. Scrabble and curling online for hours one week, two seasons of a TV show the next.

I'm going to come back and finish up later.

Gwynne is exhausted!

Saskatchewan? For some reason I thought you lived in Ontario. Oh well.

I was also a SNES kid. I think a big reason the Genesis is so interesting to me now is that I didn't have it as a kid. Sure, I'd play it at other people's houses, or waiting around at Sears, but I never got to dive into as deeply as I did my SNES, so now as an adult, when looking for games from that era, it's largely new and fresh to me. Makes me wonder if at 40 I'll be totally digging the TurboGrafx-16. lol. Anyway, favorite SNES game?

Have any house plants?

Favorite flower?

Coffee or tea?

Any hockey loyalties?

We're on completely the same page, here! I took every opportunity I could to dip my toe in the world of SG: store displays, friends' houses, etc. On SNES, I adored "Battletoads in Battlemaniacs" and was quite fond of "A Link to the Past"

Have any house plants?

My son has been trying to grow some for us. They're a little underdeveloped at the moment.

I love orchids.

Quote from: JenSquid on October 26, 2013, 12:47:14 AM
Coffee or tea?

I was a tea drinker for many years, but have shifted to coffee in the last couple of years. Considering that I never added sugar to my tea and add several heaping teaspoons to my coffee, this was probably not a great move.  :-\

Any hockey loyalties?

I grew up an hour from Toronto, in the heart of Leafs Nation. It's a hard habit to kick.

What should I be for Halloween?

Choices:

P.S. My sorority wants to do a group costume with all of us in charcoal dresses. The costume? Fifty shades of grey. NO thanks :P

I've had two weeks of basically nothing but work and sleep. Very very long hours.

I'll get back to it. I also still need to answer Joules' last question.

Why is it believed that bad luck comes in 3's? Mine seem to come in multiples of various numbers.
