I knew that was you! And honestly, she's an attractive woman. I don't know what all the swamp monster stuff is about.
The name give me away?   And thanks, but I still reserve the right to compare myself to all manner of beasts.

Your "friend" doesn't look a day over 40.
Pictrieve says I look 55 and my closest lookalike is Betty White.... :o

but thank you.   :)

Tell her we think she's a doll! Anyway, just a kid yet close to 19 years my junior.
The last doll I saw(earlier today when the little girl next door brought her little animal and baby friends to swing on one of my front porch swings) was one of those cabbage patch kids that was half monkey, half baby, lol.

Thank you. ;D

your friends not helping curb my eating habits
in my mind, I've reclassified oreos as a vegetable, so actually I'm eating quite healthy...

Okay... well, the video explains some things to me. Do you want the feedback here or in a PM?

You can give me feedback here

I uploaded a video if that helps
Ok, I watched the first video and don't see any issues. Your face has nothing wrong with it. Non-verbals are very feminine. Voice could use some improvement but I know you are looking for visual cues. I just couldn't see any on that video. As far as the second video, I can't see it in your post so can't comment. Might be a problem with the browser on my phone, I'll check again when I get home.

I'm going to point you back a few comments ago where I said that we need a picture... with your hair pulled back... straight on (not lower, like you're doing... actually, that's about the worst camera angle in the world to use) and one from the side (profile view, also with the hair back, pretty please). Don't smile, don't vogue, don't makeup. Those are the criteria which will give me the best ability to figure out your face.

Right now, all that I can say is that no, makeup/wig won't make you pass more than 50% of the time. Give me better pics and I might be able to give you more detailed feedback. I will say that getting your eyebrows plucked down to something like a reasonable thickness will be a godsend for you (but not a cure-all).

i was unaware of those rules sorry :( so i was able to take some quick pic in the proper way. hope this help get a better understanding :)

It may be the voice, yes, but I am talking about when I am randomly walking down the street. I'm not speaking or anything. So it's not the voice in that instance

It's probably just your swagger and strut.  I also watched your video and you showed that your upper body still has some muscle to it, so if you're wearing a sleeveless top, that would work against you.

Hard to tell, but in the long run I think you might pass fairly well.  You look young still, so that's always a huge plus.

The reason you have not heard of those rules is because they do not exist

Victoria Mitchell does not make any of the forum rules, she is posting her own particular ideals and critique of others

Granted, a good frontal and profile pic. does help, but it is not a requirement

I have seen some amazing transitions over the years, but transition takes time

Are you planning to see a gender therapist and start HRT?
The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

I'm seeing a man at the hinks dale crest centre  for gender identity (it was called a consultation so idk what that means really as in I'm not shire if there is a follow up) but my parents and girlfriend don't seem keen on moving too fast with HRT/hormones

Thank you for the critique. I am seen as very glamourous or whatever but I mean..... cis women can be glam too lol like what? And I'm 5'8" tall

Good, it's not the height, then.

The next bit is to make a general point and one which is a hard pill to swallow for those of us (myself included) who love makeup. We need to find a look that works, if we want to blend and not look faaabulous. People are likely to be wary of telling us that something isn't the best for us.
Note that I'm not saying that we need to look plain and not wear makeup but I would stay away from youtube makeup tutorials unless it's an everyday look video.

Yes, cis women can look too glam to look cis. Watch this video. I know the subjects are extreme examples but take a look at the presenter. She appears at the start without (much?) make up (1m03s) and she looks gorgeous, but for the rest of the video, in what might be "average makeup" she looks trans and if I saw her in the street like that I would certainly be questioning.

Topic says it all, I'll post better full body shots when I figure out how to get the lighting fixed.
