I am now five days post operative from my orchiectomy and loving this permanence, no spiro needed and sleeping thru most nights.  What a great relief and joy to be free of T forever! ;D
OH me I'm sure you feel so much better. I hate those little things in the way, causing trouble. I'd love to have them removed but I'm trying to wait for my GRS so everything can be done at one time. Sleeping all night without peeing so much must feel great. WTG girl friend I know your body will feel so much better.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

Thank you Francis,  The relief was greater than I expected and something to do with having it over with feels wonderfully freeing.  A present to myself and my future security.  I would change more if that magic wand was working better but we do what we can in the meanwhile ;)

What will make me very happy today is to receive my new prescription for estrogen for the next three months.
I am on hormones for just half a year now and things are developing slowly, but I feel that my body now develops in the direction it should have been done some 25 years ago. Better to change late than never  :)

So so true, good luck. Off to my electrolysis this morning to work on these remaining nasty little hairs on my face. My lady does a good job. Maybe one day a smooth normal face.

Today I put a bikini, and I feel great despite the width of my back, shoulders, and the size of my hand... I haven't started with the hormones yet, but I plan to start it next week! Unfortunately, I still introduce myself as a man.
I really hope that after a year of hormone therapy, with longer hair and a nice makeup I will be able to pass :)

You look gorgeous, Sue. HRT will be very kind to you. All you need is more self-confidence.

My new electrolysis lady is great, love her & my face is looking so much nicer. Happy dance. After we are finished with those nasty hairs I want her to so some permanent cosmetic makeup work on my lips, eye lids & brows. She is a pro & sees very elegant beautiful women to make us all look so much nicer.

I seem to be going through another growth spurt. My boobs are really starting to fill out these A cup bras nicely - might have to up to a B in a month or 2.

Also its absolutely beautiful outside again. Spring here has been really lovely so far. Might go for a walk to the local park and just read a book.

I'm getting hit on by a woman on FB. I don't know if it will go anywhere. It doesn't matter. It feels good.

can i cheat and  say two things?  I am going ro anyways so not really aure why i asked.  Yesterday saw a new therapist for the first time and she was spectacular i left there with contact info for a local endo and she told me to make the appointment as she doesn't see any reason to waste time and today i actually worked up the courage to call and make the appointment for may 3rd.  Now all i need to do is wait and show up.  I cant remember ever being this happy and excited.

Life is going pretty good for me. New therapist is fine, she will connect me with a new endro. doc to maybe up my hrt & maybe a pellet, electrolysis is going well, losing some more pounds, breasts are growing some, my surgeon for GRS is nice, she welcomes my visit whenever I'm ready. Now if my nails will just grow back out after a nasty break life will be great. Happy dance. It's so nice to be a woman.

My son called.

Well, it did, but there IS more. Next time I get out to them is girlfriend is going to take me shopping so they can buy me something pretty for my birthday.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

My eye test went well. Looks like I actually do need glasses!

Going back next week to pick them up. The staff were really friendly they didn't think twice about my gender and helped me pick out cute frames. Really happy with the results.

Squeeeeeee!

I just left Social Security. I went in, got my queue number, waited my turn and was called. The worker had me write my social security number on the queue slip and asked me what I needed. I passed it to her and said that I needed to change some info in their database. She looked at the screen, did a double take and said, "you're Dion?". I said, "yes and from the look on your face I bet you know what I want to change!" It went very smoothly after that. One more box ticked off!

Congrats! It is quite a feeling, isn't it! To have that 'official' recognitions is wonderful!  I just did my SIN on Monday. I received my new birth certificate and name change certificate in Jan but was out of the country.  The list of things(ID) that need changing is long and will take a while to work through. This week, besides the SIN, I have completed  some Medical, Drivers License, some pension times, and tomorrow bank and one of my credit cards. Next week other pension and hopefully passport. The biggest thing for me is waiting to receive my new DL card. I need this to proceed with a number of other items as photo ID is required.

I find myself taking out my new birth certificate and just looking at it and feeling it in my hands. Brought me to tears the first time I held it!

I can't wait for that birth certificate, Islandgirl, unfortunately, the state I was born in requires surgery for that and surgery isn't going to be soon. I've done my DL and SS card now, the passport will have to wait until I can spare the fee. Short term that just causes issues going into Canada which O don't do often. Banks, etc. I'll get to. I'm a relatively happy girl, though. I've got what I need to live safely and I blend in well, as far as I'm concerned my transition is complete even though there are some boxes still to be checked off.

It DOES feel soooo good!
