The Wife is away so I can play .I wore a dress to work for the first time today it felt wonderful to be free and best of all the only reactions I got where all positive most people did not even seem to notice any different LOL.
The girl inside is just as important expecially to Yourself :)

Dr. Gary Alter in Beverly Hills. I will get a portion of his fees reimbursed from insurance but I'm pretty sure it is going to cost me more than I was planning on spending.  I just didn't  want to wait a year and a half for a doctor that is in network with my medical plan.

Jessie, It's sure nice for you that their is some insurance assistance. There is sure none in my state. Everything is just cash for therapy, HRT, doc's, any surgery....Good luck & congrats again. I'm know you are so excited to have a firm date not that far away. I sure would be. My surgeon is only going to be about 20K so that's not too bad. I've already spent that much on my facelift, facial surgery, lipo & tummy tuck to try & have a more shapely body & nicer face.

Had my first shift of volunteer work today! It went really well, they helped push me a bit because I am shy xD

The best thing is no one misgendered me or anything, even customers!  :D

I'm going there weekly now, the atmosphere is great.

I'm getting back into shape getting ready to race triathlon again and am down to 166lb, lost 15 this year. Lost 15 so far and 30 more to go :)

Mello yello, You are luckier than me. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes/sandals from NewChic.com on April 5th & still nothing, darn. Really cute sandals....My $1.00 flip flops work just fine anyway I guess.

I'm sure glad my new very nice yellow & red roses are planted, that was a job removing old roses, adding new soil, planting new roses. Off to plastic surgeon for dental block shots then 2 hour electrolysis session tomorrow. Both ppl ar every nice to me & little by little my face looks nicer.

I finally get to see my doc & electrolysis lady today for a 2 hour session. Once a week is about all I can do to make sure my skin is not damaged from electro work. First a dental block, then relax & let my lady kill away. OMG I'll be so glad when all those nasty hairs are so gone.....away.

I didn't get time to post this on Saturday but it really made me happy to help out a wonderful group that is fighting for our communities legal rights. The cast and crew of the show Transparent held a fundraiser to help the National Center for Transgender Equality.  The reward for helping  out the NCTE by making a donation - an afternoon at the Transparent production office on the Paramount Studios lot with most of the cast and crew.

Booked initial consultation to talk about receiving some electrolysis in my too-manly eyebrows. I'm not doing this at the same place where I'm receiving the beard electrolysis because that's overseas and it's a bit overkill.

After a month of HRT, my nipples are sensitive, sore, and poke-outy enough that I have to do something about it. Crop top, cami, sports bra, something. Not that I haven't worn these things before, but I didn't really need to. It's nice to have a reason to underdress  :)

Well today i got told my GIC referral forms had arrived and i have now been booked in for the 6th of may for a full medical and form filling session with my doctor. So at last something is happening.

Happy dance that 2 hours of electrolysis was done today. My plastic surgeon doc did not numb my upper & lower lips enough. Not sure why but it was not as numb as it normally is after his dental block shots. That hurt today, ugggg. Happy it's over. Next time I'll have him do better. All & all not much left to do on my face.....that's sure nice.

Such cute sandals finally came in from newchic.com today. If I knew how to post a pic I would, so cute. Matching my toe nails to the rich pink shade of the toe straps of the sandals. I'll look nice on my next trip to town. Happy Dance. OH so happy I wear a 9 1/2 women's size shoes, no girl can have too many shoes.

I got my first estrogen implants today. The endo numbed the area with an injection, then made a small incision and put two pellets in. He used strips (no stitches) to close it back up.

When we looked at my blood results, the levels were excellent. 1200nmol E and 0.4 nmol T.

I hope they stay about the same after switching to implants, because I am really comfortable with the rate of changes.

My endo is such a nice person, I think I'll miss not seeing him every 6 weeks going forward...

Claire, good for you. I sure hope my new Endo lady doc will move me to implants soon. That will be such a relief to just not mess with anything but just go about life you know. Take care & good luck girl friend.

My job interview went very, very well. I had to lead off with my being transgender due to the mix of documentation they wanted, but they had no issues with that beyond how I would handle the childishness of some of the clients. Basically I have no competition because they're fully staffing a new region and if none of my references poop on me I have the job! Twice the salary for very fulfilling work. He really liked my enthusiasm and genuine fondness for my previous, similar position.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!
