I discovered a bump behind my nipples after almost 3 months the on hrt.  I guess I know what that means is starting

Good news today on the appeal of my health insurance company denying coverage of my genital electrolysis. My appeal was granted and they have agreed to reimburse me for the costs I paid out of pocket for the electrolysis. The procedure is covered by my health insurance and there really was no basis for them to deny the coverage. Maybe my contacting the state department responsible for regulating health insurance companies had something to do with it. Hopefully I will be seeing a check in the next few weeks and I can pay down the credit card I used to pay for part of my GCS.

Got my NOH today in the mail. I have my Name Change Hearing on 8 Dec. Yay

I got new calf length high heeled boots from Macy's on sale, very comfortable.

Had laser hair removal on face, I think it is number eight and also had my brows waxed, well worth doing.

I was picking something up at the post office today and I was talking to the guy behind the counter, the woman at the next counter kept referring to me as a she and ma'am even though she heard me speak but she did see my name and as it is already a mostly female name, maybe she either went with it, or I am blind to how others see me, either way, it made my day.

The fact that I finally conquered this Treacherous Trans Trail I climbed: SRS, electrolysis, voice training and last week reached my personal peak: FFS. Took me 8 years, and I can say I am done. Proud of myself, proud that I was able to muster the strength not to give up. Been close to suicide twice. But I am staying, because I am a die-hard!

We made cider donuts last night.

Electrolysis!  No, really.  And not because I'm some sort of S&M enthusiast. I happen to really like my electrolyst, and I need to make some progress on this hair.  Desperately!

So, I saw my friend, got zapped for a couple hours, and now I'm sitting here, face stinging, ice on hand, and feeling quite happy.

Yes Michelle, that is really twisted and I can so much relate! Facial hair is such a big part of my sense of ease in being out and about. I can handle bad hair days or have coffee spilled on a favorite blouse or skirt, no problem, when the beard starts to make its appearance, not the same story. Just 6 or 8 more months to get through, yay!

Lots made me happy today. I had a great Dr's appointment and my Dr upped my estradiol and spiro.  Then I had a very productive therapy appointment about working through some family issues.  After that I saw my electrolysist and she said my boobs looked bigger

My bus this morning was running ahead of schedule and as I was sprinting on my bike to get to it before he left the stop he saw me in the mirror and stayed stopped, signalling me to get on.

That 30 seconds he waited will mean I'm at my weekly therapy appointment on time, maybe even with time for coffee before as opposed to 5-10 minutes late.

Also a recent conversation with said therapist, we were talking about the (very few) things I will miss in the change from M to F and one of those is producing ejaculate (which ship already mostly sailed due to estrogen). She had just stated how important to me it must be and I replied along the lines that sure, but the main thing is orgasm and as long as that's workable the details are "icing on the cake". She saw the implicit pun at the same time I did and we both laughed. I love my pshrink, it's not every day one shares a ribald joke with one's therapist (and this is certainly not our norm), I'm glad she's the one I found. I'm usually a bit too serious about life and levity is a great element to introduce.

I went in for my HRT check up and my doctor brought up gender marker changes. She thought it best to get it done before Trump takes office. She's writing up the letters for both social security and my driver's license now.

I'm so looking forward to that F on my ID!
