I had my two month HRT checkup today.  My T is actually below their target range, but not low enough to worry about.  My E is dead centre in the target range.  My liver enzymes are happy.  And, since I have boobs growing and facial changes happening, I don't need an increased dosage.  Oh, and my cholesterol was the lowest they've ever seen.

In fact, they said I should be the poster child for the clinic's gender transition services. 

I was getting dressed after a massage therapy session and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Boobs!

You might be surprised.  Confidence in who you are goes a long way.  I look in a mirror and see me.  People who don't know me see Denise. 

My guess is people weren't 100% sure you weren't who you said you were.  Keep it up.

I'm curious, what if a future employer calls looking for a recommendation... I'm not sure what I would say.  Probably that he is not re-hireable.

I'd answer based upon his work, not his religion. No point in being vindictive. He hurt himself already by quitting what I assume was a good job over not approving of his boss. He already needs to explain why he quit when he looks for a new job.

  Isn't that moment of realization great! That moment you realize they've evolved from bumps on your chest to "Boobs"?

Well we went shopping yesterday, for some new clothes, much needed panties, I love the microfiber hipsters and now I have about 12 pairs. I also purchased a bra that I can wear all the time, even when I am in guy mode, it is a 48 A, which is just right for me now, anyway. And thanks to a great friend's advice, I bought some makeup primer and more of my favorite Impress press on nails! I am feeling more and more complete everyday! I just hope I start seeing some growth in my breast area soon. I did see my sister on Monday night and she said that my features appear to be softer, which I hope I can attribute to the HRT. So, I feel good!!!

Oh I forgot to mention, my appointment for my first feminine haircut was rescheduled for tomorrow, due to the horrible storm we are having here, I am very excited about that!!!

Receiving a text from my boyfriend who says did i tell u ii love you today.  I met him online we been dating for 1yr 4 monhs we r both in our sixties.

The last two times I have talked on the phone for work, they ma'amed me!

Had a bit of a moment in the mirror earlier and could certainly see myself as female if/when I decide to start HRT, kind of odd to stare in the mirror but it certainly gives you a few minutes to serious think about starting to transition etc. I think it's because my hair is getting much longer...

Also e-mailed a gender clinic that a kind member of this forum informed me about that's pretty close to me, will seriously consider making an appointment once they get back to me with wait times and days etc.

Feeling optimistic.

That has been my stance from the beginning of the issue. The employee had worked for us for 8 years and was valued, did great work and I was sorry to see him leave. We had a conversation where I told him I would give him a good reference for the work he had done and that he decided he wanted a different challenge in his life.

I felt this was the best way to handle things. I respect others beliefs as I hope others will respect mine.

No animosity or hurt feelings. Its just a fact of life. We have parted on good terms.

Actually Monday but close enough - and it was reiterated today: I thought i was being a bit too aggressive in pursuing my  boyfriend and felt i was not acting woman-like ( i know how do we escape stereotypes right?, sorry) and i apologized, and his response was " non-stereotypical women are actually the more attractive ones to me" and you are doing fine.

i told him i would share that with others and he said cool. That made me happy.

I finally got the news: the fifth of May will be my last appointment with my shrink before I can start hormones! <3 YATTA!

I also (finally) got my referral for starting laser hair removal, which I've attended two days ago. The pain is definitely real, but I can already see relatively big patches of facial hair disappearing. 2017 is looking to be awesome!
