Yes mum has a basic flip phone and she cant text! I even have to remove messages, "Dav the red lights flashing!" . Had a look at my reclining sofa, mechanism has cut through one of the elasticated straps and part through another. Need some strong thread and the bagging needles from my workshop to tension and join them.

Mums gas turned up this morning thank goodness! Still cold today but warmer tomorrow and rest of the week. Cooking some chicken thighs to add to a veg curry I forgot was in the freezer, my own made up fusion !!

Curry will definitely warm your cockles.  It would set mine on fire!

I may try some beef curry the next time I have it. 
It will have veggies in it too.

The thing is its only as hot as you make it if you do it from scratch, the paste/sauce in the jars is nothing like if you made it yourself(full of chemicals and preservatives).
 So over slept big time, woke up again at 9.30. Not rushing, trust in the universe as it must have been for a reason. Need to weld some aluminium together today for the hot rod T, the extra sleep must have been so my dodgy eye has rested!!

made a cock up welding some alloy plate for my friends hot rod T, halfway through I picked up the wrong filler rod. My welding mask and my glasses kept steaming up as well, yes alloy doesn't like stainless steel filler rod!! Today we are making up the fuel line I think and it will be okay for that but will need a new one. Blue sky and gentle breeze this morning, 9C forecast .Time to put the working gear on now .

Fuel lines made and fitted, braided hose is a PIA to fit to the unions.  The stainless outer braid is razor sharp and has to be flared out ,stabbed my fingers and cut my thumb. Not using that on my car!!!
  Very foggy on the way home, will still be here tomorrow for shopping.

OUCH!!!

Healed up this morning, woke late, battery flat on laptop and taken 25mins to load and internet slow. What a good start to the day! Still the fog has lifted and its blue sky again.

Picked up Nick and we drove over to see Roy and collect my shortened drive shafts yesterday, bit of a trek to get there as its just into Shropshire! My car was playing up, sticking EGR valve again so will try some fuel cleaner to see if that works. Just put some washing on, bit out off balance as the whole flat shook! Still "got my own back" on the flat below who put the washing machine on late (9.30pm) and shake my sofa.
 Stuff to do at home today, food to cook, that washing to do and some online paper work to sort (if I can be arsed). Its cloudy and damp out and they say only 4C, back catching as well so not going to the workshop. 

Snotty this morning and feeling grotty, its cold and damp again so staying in. Might make some biscuits just to post in who's cookies are these!!

Made some ginger biscuits (cookies) ,last thing to add to ingredients was golden syrup. Found I didnt get a new one when I used it up so put in honey, it worked. Cooked them in the air fryer, had to turn them over to cook under side. Crunchy on the out side and softish in the middle , was going to post pic but its a faff. Download from phone to laptop then load to Imgur then load on here. What happened to tapatalk?

I have similar issues. Phone to iPhotos to PC to Imgur.

I have seen some people attach photos to a post, but I don't see an option for that. I don't know how to do it without using Imgur.

Maybe they do it by simply pasting a hyperlink to a picture or even pasting the picture itself?

Just imagine some misshapen brown blobs, that saved a post! Called on mum, she had got me 2 pans. I wanted pans with metal handles so they could go in the oven, not exactly what I was after but now have a medium frying pan and a wok that can go in the oven.
 Built up the drive shafts, got through 4 pairs of gloves as the grease is messy. Sorted stuff on the drag bike so its all together and time to go home.

Spent today at Nicks trying to work out what bits are needed to rebuild the 4 Weber carbs, very expensive! Also trial fitted the seats to work out where stuff will go. Back again tomorrow to sort some more.
 Traffic was bad getting to the way back, strange as it was before rush home time. 35mins to do a 20min trip!
My knees/legs were playing up after kneeling down to work on the drag bike yesterday, hope they are better by tomorrow.

I got a message from my ex yesterday saying her dad had passed on Monday, he made it to his late 90s and had been unwell for a few years. I sent her a hug back and got a thank you!
  I need to burn some calories, spent the day at Nicks again working on the hot rod T. Its not graft at the moment just working out where stuff fits and making aluminium interior panels fit. I ate my porridge for breakfast, had a small mince pie with a cup of green tea lunchtime and a small bowl of pork and mushroom curry with a mini nan bread for dinner so how come I have put weight on??
