Hi,

I'd like to learn about the sexual orientation of FtM's.
One FtM I was in touch with through the internet told me most FtM's are attracted to each other?
Is this true? What is their sexual pattern like? Thanks.  :D

Trans guys are just like cis guys in the sense that we all have different tastes. I think that many of us probably find safety dating another trans person over a cis person because we share a similar experience. It also helps get the whole "my genitals aren't configured in the way you're probably thinking" conversation out of the way. Less likely of rejection, etc.

Agreed, everyone is different.

I'm strictly attracted to women, and I would include transwomen too

I aways shy away from statements that use a word like 'most' unless they have some proof.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Sounds really inaccurate to me. If I had to make a generalisation, it would be that most FTMs I know of are straight, just like most bio guys are straight. There are many gay and bi FTMs, of course. Additionally, it'd be the odd one out who is attracted strictly to other FTMs... that actually sounds more like a fetish than an orientation, to me. My ex-boyfriend is FTM, but that was entirely coincidental.

Personally, I'm bi. At the moment I'm primarily attracted to men, including other FTMs. But I've also found women (including MTFs), androgynes, and genderqueer people attractive.

I'm bisexual. I like both genders pretty equally. Totally depends on the personality.

I'm mostly attracted to men, although it comes down to the individual.

Strangely, I started out being gay. Very, very gay. Upon starting my transition, however, I'm starting to be attracted a bit more to girls, though I would NEVER touch one.

Their parts terrify me beyond belief.

I dig the dudes only :P And of course that includes FTM's, because they're just other guys. Sex might be a bit awkward because of the junk they have, but I'm a top anyway, so it doesn't matter too much :) And there's always the bonus that they know what you're going through.

That being said, I'm not attracted to 'FTM's', because like someone else said, that's leaning much more towards a fetish than an orientation, it's more that I'm attracted to guys, and they fit under that description, genitals aside :D

Hope that helps some :)

lawl, sexual orientation can't be 'generalized' just because wer trans.

I'm not attracted to any sex or gender.

Just like many others have said, FTMs are just like cisguys and the ratio of gay to straight is probably about the same. I'm straight.
Call me a cheat but I make my own fate.

Being Trans somewhere along the way you end up questioning your orientation. Either you're straight as your bio gender but gay as the gender you are or gay as bio and straight or bi either way or maybe even a sexual and. Whatever other variants people might feel suits. However, being trans it's easy to end up in a different sexual role than the one you feel fits. All orientations are of course common with transfolks as they are everywhere but ours isn't as automatic. My point is I think you're going to find a relatively large number of trans folks that are going to say something along the line of "it depends on the person" simply because we are who we are. Other trans of course would understand better than average what we're going through and what's on our mind :)

I define myself as straight, I like girls cis or trans. I would be with a man to date or MAYBE have sex, but when I imagine my life I just see myself marrying a woman.
To spend the rest of my life I want a woman, I wanna have kids with her not with a guy.

Interesting question....

Many years ago I tried dating guys but that didn't work out...
These days I am only attracted to women and usually women who work out (now maybe that is a fetish lol!) I have my reasons but I won't go into them!!!!
I am a writer for several bodybuilding/ fitness and doctors websites and diet/supplement consultant.
I am also a personal assistant to a, Registered Dietician and Certified Diabetes Educator.

Through my work and experience I want to be able to help the transgender community

I'm straight. :) Though I usually don't like to put a label on my sexuality, I am only attracted to women.

Nathan.

I'm pan but i'm mostly into guys. It's odd because at one point pre transition I was mostly into girls.  ???

I am Elainesexual.

And sometimes Mikesexual  >:-) Only because he's cute and lets me touch his delicious manchest. (Well, he doesn't let me, but he's a wimp so I touch his delicious manchest anyways)

Really though, I don't find anyone but my girlfriend sexually attractive. Except Mike, our best friend/boy toy. But he doesn't count.

I can't tell you how much I'm cracking up about this right now  :icon_evil_laugh:

I would say that whoever told you that most FTMs are attracted to other FTMs is pretty wrong, but that base has been touched on in this topic already. But for the record, they are largely misinformed.

::EDIT:::

Okay so I forgot one thing. I'm not just Elainesexual. I'm also nerdyblackguyswithglassessexual. There needs to be more of those in the world.

Alright I'm done now lol!

Hmm... I don't really agree with this. Why is being attracted to FTMs more of a fetish than an orientation? We tend to think that "orientation" refers to whether one is attracted to men or women, but that is a super transphobic and binary way of thinking of sexuality. Orientation can encompass many things. Some people are attracted to brunettes but not blondes, some people are attracted to short people and some to tall people, some people are attracted to people of certain ethnicities. Even though we may not think of these as orientations, they are.
