Hyenas probably top the list for me, but I do love cats and dogs and rats and hamsters and snakes and foxes and hedgehogs and badgers and...

I love cats - especially unusual ones - Siamese, oriental, Cornish Rex & sphinx, owned the 1st 3 & have a goal to own a Sphinx at some point

I would have to say corn snakes....though I do love ball pythons *conflicted*

Jaguars (pronounced jag-yoo-ars).    It is powerful solitary and active at night just like me.   I also like African Hunting Dogs.

Otters have been a long time fav. of mine... I just thought this was so cute

Horses, especially draft horses. 

I have a few favourites, such as bulls, dogs and bats but if I had to pick just one, I'd pick a horse. Big, quiet and beautiful. I'd spend all day on horseback if I could.

Dogs, namely rottweilers.  Mine was a big 'ole house baby named Angel.  Sweetest and most loving dog I ever had. 

Aw, those flying fox bats are soooo cute!  (Something I never thought I'd say.  )

i like creatures that are somehow unusual:
1. axolotl ("dancing in the water", according to native americans), who can regrow it's limbs and reproduce in larva stage:


2. pallas cat, or manul - one of the oldest cats in evolution:

I love platypus. They are so cute!

For cuteness any of my pets or platypi. 

For weirdness, tardigrades.

For scaryness, anglerfish.

I guess since we can only choose one I'd have to choose horses. I went to horse riding camp a couple times as a child and we used to have a horse in my family until I was about nine. I've always just liked them a lot; they're really beautiful animals.
