I've never been able to pride myself on my prowess in bed as a man, but this description certainly fit one or two women I dated...LOL

Yes, I have no shame.  :-X

Hi mandyh92,

I had a lot of anxiety following your experience to the point I had thought of trying to find your Doctor's phone # and calling, he should have kept you in the hospital. Phew. I'm sorry you are going through a difficult ordeal. I remember seeing a Canadian Doc on a transwoman & she talked about the dilating procedure. Happy for you that you are starting on this as you must Happy. Stay strong & I am sure you will be glad to be back in your own home. Have a safe flight on Sunday. Super that Beth Andrea skyped you, I forgot about that, I do have skype.

that is good Mandy

did the doctor tell you the post depth you have? i expect you already know but just to point out that is the target you should be aiming to dilate. Dilation is about challenging the width and depth to maintain and increase as possible. dilation will be you life for sometime so getting the technique early is verry important.

Give up smoking, you are holding back you recovery and even affecting the result.....bad girl!!

Great news mandy

5" is good depth. Over time you can expand it even more. Have a safe flight back home.

Good now that you are thinking about DEPTH and not DEATH like in your first post.  Best wishes!

Ok, just chatted with Mandy...her laptop screen is broken now so she's using her phone, and finds it very difficult to post here. She asked me to give a brief update, and to let everyone know she won't be able to post until after Tuesday.

She's doing well, pain and bleeding is less, much less. She's looking forward to coming home on Sunday (I don't remember/can't figure out if that is Thai time or her local time...it could involve the next day/previous day, so...sometime soon!)

I can't imagine what it would have been like to go through this and not have Susan's available....thanks everyone!!

*hugs*

*high fives*

YAY.  I am so glad she is doing so much better.

Oh look even the ferrets are happy for her.

Did a video chat with her today. (big WOOT! to Skype--free video call Skype-->Skype, even from Thailand-US) She took me out to the street via her IPhone (WOOT! for IPhones!) and showed me the view at the hotel.

She sounds strong and is feeling very well. Wants to thank everyone for being there, it meant a lot to her.

You know, the doc has a bad (and probably well-earned) reputation, but once Mandy let her problems be known, they were taken care of. From my perspective, anyway.

The doc's dilation instructions are in the worst form of non-native English that I've ever heard, though. Thanks to whoever sent her GOOD instructions!

I read the post and thought back to my time there.
I loved Anne and Tic, the doctor not so much. I found him to be rude and less than for comming with the info I needed.
I can still see the room, next to the toilet right? Not allowed to open the curtains at all to look out.

Honestly, I wish I had saved more money and seen some one a lot better. The damage he did cannot be repaired.

So sad to read, have no words... what to say?
Cannot even feel good right now that I had it so much easier...

Some things just are, I guess.

Sorry to hear it...
I do hope Mandy will be OK, apart for just a not-so-good experience.

I have been curious ever since Mandy showed me her room...do you know why there was a window (with blinds, which can be opened only when in the bedroom  ???) between the bathroom and the main room? Maybe it's a Thai-culture thing?
