Tonight it's ground beef, onions, garlic, jalapenos and rice seasoned with black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, sage, thyme, parsley, paprika, chili powder, Italian seasoning, a few drops of red wine vinegar, and a nice splash of the wine. It's resting now, I'll be eating in a few minutes.

I appreciate your offer, dear, but I'm vegetarian, so that's not ok for me to eat. You enjoy it though!

I have a whole chest freezer full of game meat. Come on by and I will cook you some!

Yes, I just pull out of my driveway and drive west for 3,000 miles and you're right there!

There's lots of meat in there, you wouldn't like it. It was some hot, I'll tell ya!

It's all good. Even if I ate meat, it would likely have melted my head, hehe.

A box of Lucky Charms.

<hands on hips> And is that a nutritious dinner, young lady? A box of Lucky Charms?

A box of Lucky Charms.

After seeing that meal (!) I don't feel bad about posting: leftover grilled chicken, raw carrots, raw cashews, and string cheese.

And now it's time for some cookies.

Grilled chicken breast, brown rice, an apple, and 2 empanadas (don't know the English word for them).

It's empanadas!

I looked it up, and it's called a turnover. That sounds silly, so I'll just use empanada.  :P

...and what was in the empanada?

LOL - fat fingered the spelling twice:

1. empadada ---> a pixie sized Dali?
2. empapanda --> something that eats bamboo shoots?

Empenada sounds like a Cornish pastie
