It's a text game, and it takes a lot of time to really get into. But the addiction happens. Kate was a PvP hero here (there's even an in-game monument to her, created when we learned she died), and I haven't been able to stop playing since.
It's super trans-friendly (hell, you can even RP a trans character if you want, gender switching is common enough), and nobody bats an eyelash about anything gender/sexuality related. At all. It's a very comfortable place to be.
my stupid minecraft won't work right now. i've gone back. Me and my best friend got into it in 2011. We both play it off and on. It is my firm belief that Minecraft is the best game ever made. I may occasionally get tired of it and do something else for a few months but i always go back to it full force.

i'm playing with McCrayFish's Furniture Mod, so yes, my house has a toilet, i'm gathering enough material for a kitchen counter but the stupid world generator won't generate any deserts for me to gather cacti (for dyeing clay).
I'm pre-alpha testing Valiance Online, a hopeful successor to City of Heroes. Right now they're trying to stress the server so invitations are open, just go to the page, create an account and download. They're doing things right and it looks really good for the stage it's in. If you show up there, just one thing. There are people there from other games I play and I'm not out to them yet.
Mostly Robocraft at the moment, but since I just got an Xbone for Christmas, will likely start up on Destiny, and once my family gets a kinect for it I will be playing a lot of Disney's Fantasia.

I'm a total warmonger, which doesn't surprise me one bit, but it's still amusing. I mostly start wars I pretty much know I can't win, but what's the fun in fighting a winnable war? ;D

All of this is PC of course, and I use Teamspeak to be social with my group from Eve in other games too which is nice.
I've been playing Killing Floor quite a bit recently, it's quite addicting! I like how it's just a casual shoot-em-up. Just waves of enemies to defeat, and having a music playlist of Rock music really helps! Got bands like AC/DC, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones and Journey in the background lol
I'm currently learning the ropes in Persona 4 Arena I got from my fiancée as a Christmas present. :D
Currently I only really play Guild Wars 2. Still trying to figure out which class I like best, though the top two contenders are currently elementalist and engineer.
Been playing Shadow of Mordor for the last couple days. It's funny there is an option to play as a female character, but just for running around and doing the game play side. You're that dude in all of the cut scenes, and have his voice when you talk about stuff. Kind of realistic... lol.

Lately, it's been X-COM: Enemy Within. I still go back to R* titles pretty consistently, though. Of course, my daughter usually suckers me in to playing Minecraft, Little Big Planet, and just about any Sonic game when she can.

I'm currently obsessed with Sunset Overdrive. The character creation is my favorite part-- the crazy hairstyle/color options made me feel right at home. The option to switch genders right smack in the middle of the game is awesome, too. More games should allow that. I mean, do you know how many older games I've restarted because I started playing as a girl??

I received a GTX970 as a gift so I'm finally able to try out a fully modded Skyrim. When I get a large chunk of free time, I'll probably start up Shadow of Mordor. I also play Rock Band 3 (full e-drum setup) and Rocksmith 2014 when I have small amounts of time to kill or I want to relax.
@Rossy: Civ V is a lot of fun. I just checked my time played on this one and it's at 375 hours. Yikes!!! Watch out for this game. Just one more turn...

That's like the only game I've played where the option to choose a female character was available but I just feel I have to play as the guy because they don't have the cut scenes or talking with the female as well.. Just kills the atmosphere for me. Love that game though!

Just beat The Last of Us... in-f***ing-sane, holys**t.

just started playing dark souls a few days ago after watching my roommate struggle through it for the last month.
I recently picked up tales from the borderlands and fez so yeah that's fun
I've been playing Dungeon Hunter 4 on my tablet. The last fight was less than exciting but that could be because I don't rush and managed to make armor that's a bit excessive. The final boss could barely scratch me.

After The Last of Us, I beat Dragon Age Inquisition, and now I'm playing Assassin's Creed 4, the pirate one.
Played Pitfall and managed to map out levels 1 - 84! I really want to try and beat that game now haha!
I've been playing the Battlefield Hardline open beta pretty fun, it's avalable to everyone until the 8th so yeah. Hotwire mode is pretty cool.
The Metroid Prime Trilogy. I downloaded it while it was on sale. :D
I'm playing the FFX remaster for PS3. It definitely looks better than before and there's some new content that I really like.
I HAD just gotten Elderscrolls Online...then my PSU died. I just bought the damn thing under 2 months ago as a step up for my new GPU. Now I have no PC and my laptop can't run games :(
The Walking Dead Season 1 on the iPad, found out it is free on the iPad. Only issue I am having is the bad controls, on the bright side, the quick time events seem better with a touch screen.
Still playing plants vs zombies garden warfare... But I recently became obsessed with Terraria on Steam. It's easy for me to obsess. :3

Saints Row IV
i switched my male character to female. the retrojazzhead was funny for a while, but i find switching the character completely keeps the game from becoming stale. It's the only game i can play as female somehow. Otherwise, i just can't. Other men can. Somehow i can't. But Saints Row is so cartoonish that maybe my brain says "Why The Hell Not? It's Saints Row. Everything goes"
And that female character is a bit like the one from my Saints Row The Third playthrough two years ago, meaning cross between businesswoman and goth and tough. The jazzhead is the latest in a long line of very strange, unusual hero characters i tend to play. And butt-ugly to boot. But realistically ugly. Not "i adjusted the sliders too much" ugly. Believe me, you don't want to see my Mass Effect Shepard. When i switched to the console version of that one i did make the effort though of recreating him on PS3, which took a bit.
Medieval Battle! Not sure if mobile games count, but I have less time for gaming these months and that's as close as I get to a real ful-fledged strategy.

Hmm dragon age inquisition, COD advanced warfare, Little big planet 3, destiny, multiple little app games...was looking at getting evolve but I think I will pass it doesn't look PuG friendly and I tend to solo 99% of the time it really depends on my mood lately

Soon as I'm done here and have cleared my facebook notifications, I'm diving into Skyrim for some de-stressing. Nothing helps me unwind like running around whomping the crap out of anyone unfortunate enough to cross my path (I should probably see a psychiatrist about that :o )

I was in beta too! But mucked around with different characters trying out classes/races lol. I thought you only needed your email add to reset pass? Im sure if you have your cd key etc you might be able to contact support and get it reset lol.

Yeah you need CD key plus email plus a character name to reset the PW it is a horrible system but it is what it is. I am waiting on a email back form their support about it I figure I may give the expansion a go

Elder Scroll Online, Diablo 3, Neverwinter, and The Witcher 2 have been my most recent gaming obsessions. In that order, haha.
I'm playing World of Warplanes, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, GTA V, and starting a replay of Mass Effect on the PC where I played it previously on the xbox. I'm trying to play the series as a total renegade but it's hard to resist my paragon ways :P lol
edit: Almost forgot mobile gaming! on my 3DS I'm playing Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, LoZ: Majora's Mask (for the first time :P) and on my phone/bluetooth controller I'm replaying Super Metroid :)
I have a terrible computer now, so I'm not playing very many games anymore. Sometimes I still fire up the old Playstation2 and play Champions: Return To Arms. It's one of the best "Diablo clones" that I've ever played other than the original Champions Of Norrath: Realms Of Everquest

On my Xbone I'm also playing Worms and strike suit zero.
Most importantly though I'm playing GTAV, I'm currently searching for peyote in single player to morph into the various animals, what the characters say as they become fishes, birds etc is so funny it makes my ribs and cheeks hurt.
In online im obsessed with co-op missions, I'm up to rank 280ish, I own a tank, attack chopper, luxury jet, 3 properties and a whole load of expensive cars and bikes

I just finished The Evil Within's DLC "The Assignment" in which you play Juli Kidman who only has a gun for like a hot minute and otherwise must stealth her way through the nightmare. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did because stealth was NOT the main game's strong point.
Now I'm busting up white suits in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. Seems like more of the same so far but friends tell me it gets crazier as it goes so I'll do it.
Oh! And I played Gone Home finally which I really enjoyed down to all the whacky period details of late 80s early 90s Americana. The VHS library with the copies of movies two-per-tape was like stolen right out of my childhood home.
Really I'm just biding my time for Bloodborne. :P

I'd be there with you but the "Kung Fu Panda" stuff chased me away. (And yes, I know Warcraft had them first. Jack Black is a big Warcraft fan.)
The Pandrian stuff was kind of strange. The new expansion really makes up for it in my opinion. You should give it another try some time. :)

I tried playing Fallout 3 for a while, but I found it far too gritty for me.
Is it bad that I have 42 hours played in Skyrim and haven't gone past 500m from the tutorial cave? I kind of got a little distracted with mods ;D
I'm probably going to play Pillars of Eternity next. Supposedly, it's like Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale/Planescape:Torment, which are some of my favorite games of all time so I'm really excited to try it out.
I tended to mod the living daylights out of the Elder Scrolls series of games I played too. I don't think I ever played as a vanilla race or character.
Buying the whole season of Life Is Strange this weekend, even though I already saw two people play the first two episodes, I really love the feel and look of the game. Feel like that will be one of the games I end up playing 20 times while looking for every detail and making different choices each time(I replayed kotor about 10 times before discovering mods).
Really can't find any other games that interest me at the moment. Might try playing Mass Effect 3, my brother just gave me his Origin account so I have that and Saints Row 3 now.. as well as Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3.. but I refuse to play those two after discovering I completely suck at shooters.
Might try getting into Hearthstone, but more than likely I will end up just playing Life Is Strange and Town of Salem for the next few months.

I love life is strange. The ending on the 2nd episode hit me pretty hard as it was very personal to me. I've cried in both episodes. I can't wait to see the rest of the game.

Might try playing Mass Effect 3, my brother just gave me his Origin account so I have that and Saints Row 3 now.. as well as Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3.. but I refuse to play those two after discovering I completely suck at shooters.
Might try getting into Hearthstone, but more than likely I will end up just playing Life Is Strange and Town of Salem for the next few months.
I have been sort of hooked on Terraria the past few days. While I've never played Minecraft I hear it is kind of like that mixed with an RPG. It's sooo much fun and takes me back to the SNES days. =D
I just started playing Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls on the 360. Perhaps a bit too much though... :-\

I rarely get hooked on games but Fable The lost chapters in one of my favorites games of all time and I still play it on my sister's pc.
I'm replaying The Last of Us and trying not to get sad at certain bits like I always do, hehe.
I'm also waiting very impatiently for the Witcher 3!
For whatever reason, I'm still playing Destiny. I think I mostly like just hanging out with friends, and it's something easy to play to relax at the end of the day.
I'm also about halfway through Bloodborne at the moment. Kind of the opposite of a sit and relax game, but fun nonetheless.
Been playing a lot of Combat Arms lately. Buddy of mine got the missus and I into it, we've spent the last few nights just running around shooting each other.
I guess I'll keep playing Guild Wars. I met someone who's playing through the game for the first time.
I finished playing through the quest for glory line a few weeks ago, I played a bit of old republic today but it has never felt great to me, a slightly crippled world of warcraft, and I will likely play some destiny tonight. I find few better ways to let my nails dry than to paint them and play x-box the controller keeps my fingers appart and its easy to loose a few hours.
I play some skyrim when I get in the mood and Vampire the Masqurade bloodlines is one of the best if not best rpg I have ever played.

I'm back playing Oblivion again using a self made custom character who has already finished the main quest, but nothing like going around for a second try. She's a total anti-hero and roleplaying her is a great way to get rid of any stress and anger I might be feeling.

I'm back playing Space Engineers. a lot of fun
I'm closing in on the end of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin and although I still love the mechanics and the challenge, the bloom is off the rose. There's not a single thing in this iteration that thrilled me as much as spotting the giant butterfly or the hydra in the lake in the original Dark Souls. Feels a little perfunctory and not as many surprises.

Due to a complete lack of disposable income i'm only buying an average of one game per year, last year I made the mistake of that game being the grindfest that's called Destiny, I wasn't sad the day I had to trade it in to top up my electric meter.
When I was in full time work a few years ago i'd buy one or two games per week!!! It was hard to kick this habit but the free games given away on my Xbone & 360 keep the cold turkey jitters at bay, now if only they'd give away either a good game or a game i've never played i'd maybe play something different for a change.

hell, i was just testing your spirit. I'm a foreigner myself. As an Altmer and as the Arch Mage of Skyrim, i am both respected and feared. When people think altmer, they think Aldmeri. When people think mage, they think "fall of winterfell". I decided to lead the mages guild by proxy. I really don't have time for it all. Come join me at my castle far west of Solitude. Just don't be freaked out by what you see. I took this castle from an old vampire who showed me how to stop aging. I was getting there as a balding old mage. I might be able to show you my secret. Tell them "the good mother makes soup for the errant boy".
Final Fantasy Realm Reborn - really well done MMO, where I made quite a few friends throughout the years. You get to have your own chocobo and can be a cat ^^ among other things.
Just went through Donkey Kong Country (SNES) in a bit more than an hour. Could do better than that. Such a classic game, really never gets old.

The new Pokemon designs suck most of the time though (i do like Flabebe and its evos though, it looks like a classic Pokemon).
However, this does not matter too much.
I am far too engrossed in the beautiful landscapes, things to discover,
battles and Global Trading System.
Waiting for my new beast of a computer to get here in around 4 weeks so I don't have to play on this poor potato anymore but my main addiction is Guild Wars 2. @__@

I got a 3DS not too long ago, and so far a lot of my time has been spent with Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
I never thought I would get obsessed with a sandbox-type game, but I'm really hooked on it.

I'm playing Witcher 3. It's kind of weird being forced to play as a guy, but oddly enough I'm okay with it. I'm far enough along in my transition that I no longer have to use games as a gender escape, and that's kind of new territory. I'd still prefer to play as female though. Not long ago I would have avoided this game for that reason alone.
Also playing witcher 3 :) Going off what drummer girl was saying, I do wish the character was customizable in appearance, I don't have a problem with his gender obv, but I don't visualize myself as a old dude with long white hair :P Loving this game btw.
I stopped playing MMOs a few years ago. Now ive migrated onto mobile app gaming since it's so much more fun! Right now im playing dragon blaze a lot. I used to play brave frontier and am now starting to quit summoners war.

I have been obsessed with Elite: Dangerous for the past several months. I was so happy when they finally patched the game to allow you to change the gender of your pilot avatar; changed mine to female the day I was finally allowed to do so. :)

I'll probably play some more Guild Wars today. The Zaishen mission is Sanctum Cay. It's a cool mission.
It's a pity that Guild Wars 2 doesn't really have anything like the story or challenge missions from the old games. The missions were some of the best things in Guild Wars.

KOTOR
i'm playing a male (obviously) Jedi Sentinel, pursuing the Bastila romance, playing light-sided with strong dark-side temptations and a plan to fall to the dark side to some intent on Korriban. I've played Gorak Harrysom more and more reckless as the game went on. I'm on Manaan right now and i have proven to be a master mind manipulator there (fun with alliteration!). My character is teaming up with Bastila and Jolee for the most part. Gotta love Jolee's grumpyness. He's a very funny character. I don't remember much of my first playthrough, only a few key spots and stuff like the underwater mission. After that, it'll be on to KOTOR 2, which is a frustrating game, as it is already great, but even with the Restoration Mod and the Droid Planet Mod is feeling incomplete. A shame, since the writing is great and the moral decisions are much more complex and much less "republic=good, sith=bad, go kill sith".
Does anyone feel that playing the opposite sex of what we were born as is a subliminal sign of our transgender tendencies? Personally I've always gravitated towards playing as a female though I am a cis male. Envied their clothes and looks..especially in RPG games, rather envision myself as a female for hours then seeing some dude in a leather diaper wielding a huge axe. Just curious if others feel or felt the same.

Interesting for sure, I have always preferred playing female. Whether it's a subconscious thing or not I am unsure.

Before getting Splatoon I only played me Wii-U for about three hours total since March when I bought it. Well the first night I spent seven hours playing Splatoon.

Skyrim is one of my favorite games of all time. I pretty much played it everyday for a year and have the map memorized in my head :o I've always like playing as a Dunmer assassin and always made a beeline for the Dark Brotherhood since they are the most family orientated group.
As for always playing female characters I've never worried about anyone seeing me. But my friends do ask me why all my characters have light red hair like me and are female.
I'm playing Left 4 Dead, as I have been for the past two months or so. I've considered revisiting Fallout New Vegas, since the announcement of Fallout 4, and it looks amazing. If I did go back to FNV, I don't know what I'd do, I've played it so many times and so many different ways. That's why I'm playing Left 4 Dead, I don't get to choose how the game goes.
I'm back to the secret world. I betaed it and liked it, but never played it through.

Prison Architect is about the only thing I've be dabbling with recently. My gaming interest has gone down drastically recently. Just don't feel like much worth buying has been released.
I have finally dug into "The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword" for the Wii. I have gotten as far as the second temple area. So far I am enjoying. The Wii controls take some time getting used to.
I bought two used Nintendo DS games the other day. "Bookworm" and "Batman: The Brave And The Bold". Played a little of each last night. Both are fun diversions to sleeping.

I'm working on putting together a new computer from parts, but I don't really know what I want to play at the moment. I'm keen on the Elder Scrolls series and I've got Fallout New Vegas which I haven't tried yet. I'm tempted to go back and play Morrowind again which I really liked the first time around. I still haven't played the expansions for Morrowind yet.

I have to agree with you about Morrowind. I always played with a custom character, - a little butterfly winged Sylph, - I reworked from an older mod and she went everywhere and explored everywhere. Sometimes I when I mentioned to other gamers that I'd found a hidden cave or treasure or whatever at xxxxxxx they would be really surprised and would want to know how I found it. Or else deny it and say I was making things up because they'd played Morrowind 'X' times and they never found it. ::)
Oblivion is a darn good game and I like it, but after Morrowind something just seemed to be missing. Playing Morrowind I would sometimes have my player character simply pause at a vantage point to watch the sun rise, I never did that playing Oblivion.

I might also add, in Morrowind, Vivec is a beautiful city. Probably one I'd name the most beautiful architecturally. I was amazed to discover it. It was in a foggish morning with blue skies emerging.
My personal preference for place where I'd settle in is Skingrad. Its streets under rain feel just right. Like I blend in. Like I belong. Amsterdam has many places that feel the same way under night rain... or just over night.

For me seeing Vivec for the first time was a real chills down the spine experience. It is a beautiful city and I don't think I ever managed to explore every corner of it.
It might sound boring, but I always liked Balmora. The forests of mushroom trees were something else that delighted me too.

Honestly, i've had my share of MMOs, and most of them are like you said: boring and feels like it doesnt have a soul. A least for me, anyway. The only MMO that really made me addict to it was WOW. Sure, there was one or other that was kinda fun, but WOW was the only one that really got me!

I just recently cancelled my ESO account. It really did get boring quick especially when you hit Veteran levels. The only MMORPG that will ever have my heart and soul is the original Everquest. That game was so hard, it brought tears to the toughest eyes. It felt like it took hours just to get across one zone and felt like days to reach the other side of the continent. Death was absolutely horrible, there was no ghosts and you didn't start near somewhere close to your body. If you didn't bind your soul nearby you were walking across the world for your loot. That game made you a stronger person :P

Stilt striders were one of my favourite memories of playing Morrowind. Just like catching the bus and they were great if you were in a hurry and didn't fancy walking to xxxxxxx yet again.
There seems to be plenty of second hand and NOS copies of Skyrim around for cheap at the moment so I think I'll get one for myself and have a go.
Steam is having a major sale right now and I think most of the tes games are like 50 or 60 percent off.

I'm currently playing Skyrim but I've been finding it somewhat...repetitive. It's my first Elder Scrolls game so I don't know if it's something they all have in common but there seems to be very little variety in the dungeons. Maybe it's just because I keep going to those barrows and other places with draugrs...Even going to Solstheim didn't get me away from the draugr dungeons, I thought for sure I'd get a reprieve while staying in a Morrowind location.
And I feel like there isn't enough choice in dialogue options. I might just be spoiled by having played Fallout 3 and New Vegas before any Elder Scrolls games but I like the variety of dialogue choices you have in those games and I can't help but to compare Skyrim's dialogue to Fallout's and feel it comes up short.
All that said, I've definitely enjoyed the game so far. I'm not even sure why I ended up playing Fallout before Elder Scrolls, I'm usually much more into medieval fantasy than I am into guns and whatnot. I love the magic in the game, in particular. And to answer the original post's question, in addition to Skyrim I've been playing Skulls of the Shogun (can't find enough players online, though), the Unfinished Swan, and Transistor. I was partway through Way of the Samurai 4 and Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch before beginning Skyrim so I've got to get back to those...eventually.
Just decided to re-activate my WoW account! Got a 10 day free trial for Warlords of Draenor. So, like the Angry Video-Game Nerd say, lets pop this >-bleeped-<er up!

This was years and years ago, but in Morrowind, I think I eventually got three houses in Balmora, plus one in Khuul, which I proceeded to pile to the ceiling with glass armor. So pretty.
Anyway, I just beat Dark Souls II. I enjoyed it, though it definitely wasn't as well designed as Demon's and Dark Souls I were. I'm also trying to finish up Rayman Origins, but I honestly think Dark Souls is a far less frustrating game. The number of auto-scrolling stages where you cannot slow down and your timing must be perfect or you die is infuriating. It's like it's a rhythm game masquerading as a platformer. >:(
There was a treehouse mod for Morrowind which my custom butterfly winged sylph character used for her home. It had an immensely long spiral staircase in the hollow tree trunk which fortunately she never had to use. Being able to fly is a very useful ability for a small 0.65 sized player character to have. Niggle the Sylph was a thief and she collected a huge amount of 'shinys' to stash away in that treehouse. She was immense fun to play as she worked herself up to being level 80 for hand to hand and level 100 for agility. Bar fights with Niggle were always a great way to pass the time in between adventures.
A really cool MMORPG is ArcheAge. There is soooooo much you can do in that game that it's actually kind of overwhelming. The only thing was the community was not very good. Just seemed like a bunch of trolls and ignorant people. I got involved in a small guild and the guy was so controlling and wanted me to do this, wear this armor.. I was just like alright i'm done F**k you lol.
I also played Rift for a few years but after a while it started to bore the crap out of me. I did meet some really awesome people in the game though. I go back on very rare occasions just to check things out. It's the only game besides Everquest where I actually had enjoyable Role Play.

I was in a little guild called Generositate. I'm sure I've long since been kicked, since I haven't been able to log in for months due to Glyph not working properly on Windows 8. It was pretty fun. Every now in then they would have some guild events, do some trade runs, or just mess about with their boats.

But, yeah the community seemed like it was 60% trolls, bots, and idiots. That's the problem with sandbox games. They attract all of the trolls. I've also heard that end-game is very PvP-focused, so I imagine there wouldn't be much to do if you aren't in a good guild.
I actually enjoyed the PVP in the game for a little while. Unfortunately I was absolutely horrible at it lol. I found the game to be relaxing too at times and I really enjoyed riding around on my donkey :P
I just picked up a second hand copy of Skyrim for $NZ15.00 which is a bargain. I'll have a look at it once I've finished building up my new computer.
I loaded Morrowind onto my hard drive last night only to discover that Planet Elder Scrolls no longer has all the old Morrowind mods it used to have. Fortunately I archived all the mods I used to use onto CD, - only thing is I now have to find that CD; - wish me luck!
My current game is solitaire.... Just kidding. I got a new laptop so there's no games on it yet, but on my old laptop I was playing Starbound, Terraria, and Minecraft (typical lol)

I thought the DLC of Dark Souls II was some of the best content in the series. If you haven't tried it, you're really missing out on some crazy cool areas and challenging bosses.
The open beta test for World of Warships just started so it's time I got back to that game and earn some of my boats back :P

The DLC is better then the main game. None of the bosses in the main game gave me trouble but some of the DLC ones growl.
I've really started playing a lot more of Bloodborne again this week, mainly PVP. Had one fight with another player that lasted for twenty minutes before I won by pure luck. Really thinking about finishing up Dark Souls since I've cleared everything up to the Demon's Ruins so far. But I kind of want to restart just to fight Ornstein and Smough again.

I'm back with teaching myself to mod for Morrowind again. It's been a while since I last did any modding for Morrowind and after spending some time modding for Oblivion I'm having to get familiar with the older game all over again. For some reason I've never been one to like playing much with a character from the vanilla races when it comes to Morrowind and Oblivion.
Well I started back on Dark Souls and only have the final boss left. Right now I'm clearing out optional area's before finishing it. Its funny enemies that gave me trouble at the start now are a push over. Thinking once I finish it I'll switch to Demons Souls.
I've been playing a lot of Final Fantasy X HD lately. Unfortunately I lost about 2 hours of level grinding after I got a tragic ambush and enemy combination. It might be awhile before I go back to it. :-\

Well finished up Dark Souls Friday night. Bad thing now is everything seems super easy since Dark Souls has been the hardest game I've played. Started playing Dark Souls II against human opponents last night. And it wasn't even a challenge and won eighteen duels so far. I don't know might take a break from playing games. Or I should really finish Oblivion.
Ha ha! I was delighted to find the old backup CD I made some years ago with 210 Morrowind mods archived onto it. Most of these mods can no longer be found on the internet so I'm really glad I took the time to burn this CD back when I was seriously into playing Morrowind. I also found the archive CD I made for the several mods I'd created for myself so all in all a good day. :)
And yes Raven you should finish the main Oblivion quest because it's a real fun ride.
Skyrim will not work for you. It is Steam-dependent and so you will have to get a new unused copy. You have to redeem it on Steam.

BTW, i love Morrowind but in the 6 years since i bought it, i've yet to finish it. No idea why. I usually stop shortly after visiting the first tribe i have to convince i'm, well, you-know-who's reincarnation. Not going to spoil this for the few who haven't heard about the big twist yet. Oblivion was my entry BTW. My best friend said "man, you have to try this". I bought it, went back to the store a few days later to get "Shivering Isles" and ever since then, i'm a die-hard TES fan. For a while i was kind of addicted to Oblivion. All day me and my best friend would play it and give each other advice. He had bought the players guide and told me where to find Umbra, where all the daedric quests are.
And this year i had the honor of doing that for someone else too. I wrote the daedric quests down in class from memory and handed it to him. The guy has mostly been doing side-quests, is very immersed. I have taught you well, my padawan.
With all the technical difficulties i've been experiencing i've been using my Wii more lately, playing SMRPG and Super Mario Sunshine a lot. Occasionally i get out Smash Bros. Melee, my favorite installment in the series.

Its silly but the reason I have a hard time playing Oblivion is how the characters look! I can't stand looking at them they look so weird! Maybe I'll restart again and either play as a dark elf or high elf. Most likely dark elf and go straight to The Dark Brotherhood.

I'm going through NG+ on Bloodborne, wrapping up the Chalice Dungeons. The only ones still playing it are ranked vilebloods so I routinely get annihilated in PVP. It was fun while it lasted but I'm feeling over BB and ready for something else.

It's sort of a Metroidvania/RPG/steampunk/Lovecraftian horror mix, so it's quite good, in my opinion. Involves a lot of reading, though.

The second hand Skyrim game I purchased was missing its map so I found a Playstation version for cheap that still had its map so I'm keeping it and the disc and its case can go to the local op shop.
Grrr, I'm still playing Bloodborne just waiting for Oblivion tomorrow. But I figured I'd beat an optional boss, almost got it on the first go. Next summoned another player to help me and he just ran off to do his own thing. Two seconds later I got invaded by an op hunter and killed. "Ok, no big deal" I said to myself got my blood echos back since I had almost a million its what you use to buy stuff and level and if you die they drop at the spot you got killed. And if you die again before picking them up you lose them.
Summoned another guy to help and he did nothing during the boss fight but I managed to get the boss down to two hundred health before it killed me. "Ok I can do this" I thought summoned two players again well guess what? Same two people from before! The first one ran off again and the other one did follow me but I got invaded again and the hunter killed the guy with me and made short work of me. And since I died before retrieving my blood echos I lost all of them! I just shut the game down and walked away.

All I can say is wow.

You got invaded because of the bell wringing woman right? My guess is that your summoned partner ran off to end her before she could bring in invaders via her sinister bell but obviously failed. :P You should never have a million blood echoes, lol! Go shopping, girl!
I started playing around with Skyforge a few days ago. I really like the classes and character options. Not so much the mostly instanced mission area's though. =/ Oh and I am still playing Tera.

Modding is fun :D The trouble is sometimes it can be more interesting making mods than actually playing the game. I've been too sleepy lately to play either Morrowind or Oblivion, but I hope to get back to it once I'm feeling better myself.
Still playing Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer on PC. Used to play mostly Bronze (eastest difficulty), but now I'm playing mostly Silver (there's Bronze - Silver - Gold - Platinum). The game's a lot easier than I remember since I came back from a brief hiatus and jumped right into Silver, avoids the habit of being used to one boss + two high dps (if I recall correctly) units on the map at once. Not sure if I'm ready for Gold yet, since I play with randoms (who never talk, not that I want to talk anyway) and coordination is usually key for a smoother game.

I decided to start gaming on my Playstation 2 again as there are many many games that I still want to play that I haven't done so yet. I just recently got a couple games for it such as Radiata Stories.
I decided to try FFXIV again after chatting with another member of this website. So far it is a lot of fun despite the new character lock's giving me no shortage of grief. ::)
I found my DS in a drawer in my desk. So I am currently replaying Pokemon: Heart Gold. It is my first ever Pokemon game. The only problem I have is that I have no idea what to do fighting wise (in terms of types and class). But it is kind of fun to figure it out on my own.
I also have the DS version of Chrono Trigger. Been wanting to get into that for a while.

Right now I'm playing Maplestory(well for like 10 years), Star Ocean: Second Story, and Pokemon Snap.
Last week I downloaded 2 games for my Xbone, I wish I hadn't as I've not got enough money for electric & gas now.
The first game was Elite Dangerous, its amazing!
The second game is Life is Strange, its a story/puzzle game with no guns, aliens or zombies.
What it does have is characters you care about, the game has had me in tears many times, something other games fail to do. The subject matter is so hard hitting that most TV shows balk at approaching these topics.
At one point I had to make an in game choice that was so hard that it made my head spin, I stared at the screen for 5 minutes before walking out of the room in tears, I then spent several more minutes knowing which choice I was going to make but not wanting to press the button, once I did I didn't just cry, I sobbed uncontrollably.
I urge everyone to try a demo of this game, it deserves every gaming award EVER.

I'm about 1200 hours into European Universalis IV. Not a big fan of their latest expansion so I went back to a somewhat oldie fav of mine, DayZ mod. I was part of a COD2 clan that is mostly dead, ironically called |Brothers|.

Tomb Raider, - I have all of the original classic games and I should really take them down from the shelf and give them a run through again ;D
I haven't had a decent rig for ages so being able to play the latest stuff is great..so many cheapo games I haven't played..one of the advantages of having to wait a few years for the right rig...This is the latest Tomb Raider I believe never played the franchise before but looks like fun...Oh yeah if you want to give yourself a fright try Five Nights at Freddy's...managed to make me jump every time even though I knew it was coming.

Saints Row: The Third (I'm almost finishing the story for the third time. This game has charmed me ever since I bought it 3 years ago.)
Finally started The Witcher 3 and it's GENIUS. I've never been this engrossed by side quests before. Such a gorgeous game.
I love the witcher 3 as well. What I don't love is a known bug for the xbox that prevents saving progress. A few times I've played where I lose the past 1-2 of progress. That aside, it's a wonderful game :)
Fallout Shelter!
I'm back on WoW (Echo Isles, Lasminna the Praeoris of Sisters of Elune) and loving the Warlords of Draenor content. Also started playing Heroes of the Storm. Hope I can afford Sylvanas soon (only bought Raynor so far). Civ V (with a bunch of Civ mods) and Beyond Earth (see Civ 5, again with mods).
Also Fallout Shelter. It's installed, haven't played yet.
MicheleGui: Love Saints Row when it comes to sandbox shooter games. IV is awesome/fun too and I want to get Gat Out of Hell.
Saints Row 2 is my favourite in the series and I've downloaded Gat Out of Hell, bur not played it yet.

The expansion doesn't look very interesting, though. The only thing in the expansion that looks good is a new profession and new skills, which the game has desperately needed for a long time. But it's still just a stop-gap measure unless they can come up with better AI and fix PvE

The expansion doesn't look very interesting, though. The only thing in the expansion that looks good is a new profession and new skills, which the game has desperately needed for a long time. But it's still just a stop-gap measure unless they can come up with better AI and fix PvE
The thing that I like about it is it isn't as grind intensive as some other mmo I've played. Take WoW for example, all about the grind. Also, no monthly sub to pay is a bonus. I haven't had much issue with the PvE but the pet AI for Rangers and Necromancers could be better.

Guild Wars 2. Looks like WoW is going on the back burner now.
I downloaded Fishing Planet on Steam because I'm horrible at fishing IRL and I thought it would be a nice free game to pass the time. It's actually pretty enjoyable even if you don't fish or don't do it a lot like me. Graphics are pretty nice, it runs very smooth. Gets a claws up from me.

It really is! I just start getting confused with the different rods, reels and all that but I've caught some decent fish so far :D

I just bought Rocket League for PC and it's really amazing.
If you're skilled, you do amazing acrobatic stuff and have lots of fun.
If you're not so skilled, you do crazy stuff (many times by accident) and have lots of fun.

I haven't played Life is Strange yet but I hear it's good. I loved Alan Wake, especially the interjections of his writing with the narrative itself. Sadly I played that right around the same time as Deadly Premonition so my memories of it are a bit overshadowed by the amazingness of DP.
I don't play games much anymore, but I absolutely LOVE horror games. Love, love, love. The darker the better. They need to be good psychological horrors though (the first four Silent Hills, Rule of Rose, Penumbra, etc), and not "jump out ooh scary I have a gun" like F.E.A.R., etc.
I also love interactive fiction/oldschool "adventure" games like anything put out by Quantic Dream, and last night my fiancee and I started Until Dawn and
omg I am so hooked. It's a horror game with branching plot choices and a gameplay system straight out of Heavy Rain, with lots of character interaction and dialogue. So basically it's a fusion of everything I like. I am seriously in love with it so far! ;D
On another note, I did manage to play/finish Transistor recently and was totally blown away by the originality of the world, the way the story was told without exposition, and the way certain events played out against my expectations. Gameplay was fantastic, story was amazing, and I can't stop thinking about it. It leaves a lot up to the player's interpretation in the end, especially the nature of the game's universe/reality itself.
Bonus points because it contains a nonsexualized female protagonist, a gay married couple that doesn't even get a passing mention as something out of the ordinary, a background character who doesn't identify as male or female (and also doesn't get mentioned as anything unusual), and a genuinely touching tragic romance holding together the whole story.
Between Transistor, Hotline Miami, and Axiom Verge, I've become convinced that smaller game studios really have a lot more to offer than the big industry giants.

I hope no one minds this post, but I just finished Dragon Age: inquisition not too long ago. I was thinking about replaying through the Mass Effect games again. Though GW2 is starting to take up lots of time >.<
I noticed that I have Dragon Age Origins for a long while now but never got to play it. Seeing how many people love the Dragon Age games and Bioware usually makes great RPGs, I decided to give it a try.
I haven't gotten too far yet, but so far it has been really underwhelming. The characters and dialogues are rich and engaging but that's basically it. I find the overworld cliché and the combat is tedious and repetitive.
I'll invest some more hours to it and see if the story does justice to what I've heard from people.
I currently only play 2 games. Eve Online and Second Life (not that I regard that as a game). If I can help get my best friends pc back up running, we might get to hang out in Everquest. I stopped playing that as it wasn't fun without her.
Playing Destiny On 360, when I am done getting raid worthy I have a whole world of warcraft expansion that I haven't played yet with a new one on the way. I also tried dragon age and found it bleh, such standard fantasy tropes and I just don't have the time and motivation to fully dedicate myself to digging through all the plot and character dialog to get anything out of it.
I also need to replay vampire the masqurade bloodlines again with the new clan quest mod...wow I love that game, the story, atomosphere, dialog, the characters who you remember and want to quote years later. so good.

I'm playing through KISS Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child on PC. I played this game a lot as a kid. I'm not a fan of the band KISS at all, but thankfully the game has very little to do with the band. Looking at Wikipedia, it shows this game was based off a comic book instead.
Not many people know about this game, but it's a Quake style FPS game in the old-school sense, with a focus on singleplayer. I personally love it. :P I can understand why a lot of people won't like it that much, because it gets pretty difficult in the later levels. In fact, the first level of episode three is so difficult it's almost unfair. XD But like the old Doom games, the enemies can in-fight, which makes it a lot better to fight hordes.
It's a cool game if you like old-school FPS games that almost nobody remembers. :P

BTW, i was quite surprised to see that crossdressing was a feature.
You know, the lack of it severely limited clothes design in earlier Bethesda games, because almost everything was designed unisex. Now i have already seen more varied types of clothing than in the predecessors. A little thing that helps with the immersion.
I created this strange, mustachioed guy with auburn surfer hair (same color as mine). The mustache extends to his chin. The beginning part was rather shocking . And my, is that Dogmeat (a german shepherd) a cute companion. I think i'll keep him all game.
I'm playing Fallout 4 it's a good game but difficult at times. Now I just wish they would make a new Elder Scrolls game, a real Elder Scrolls game and not the online version they have out now.

Having no employment, means having no real income...simple as that. But in the past, I would sometimes sacrifice whatever monthly income I received from SSI on a new game. Its been a while though. I got so desperate for more money, that I sold a few, very nicely kept Xbox 360 games to a very stingy pawn shop for like $8.00! ::) ::) ::)
A-Anyway, enough of my rantiness.....The most recent game I played was
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core for the PSP. Its a prelude to the epic
Final Fantasy VII originally for the Playstation 1. Coincidentally, at the same exact time I started back playing this again yesterday, my bro texts me that Cloud will actually be featured on
Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS. So awesome!^^ And you know, my only qualm with this Smash game is the damn title. Sheesh! Where's the creativity in that, especially in comparison to the previous titles in this series??? ???
Actually, when my bro came to visit from out of town a couple days ago for Memorial Day, I got a golden opportunity to demo most of all the sweet games he has in his collection! =) A very rare occurrence indeed. The two games he had that really caught my attention this time around was

Mario Maker is such an awesome concept because you can finally take on the role of game designer in the Mario universe. Something that was never officially done like that with Mario since games like
Mario Paint from the Super Nintendo days...yah, you kiddies today don't know nuthin' 'bout that! :D Or maybe ya do cause of the internet. Haha. And secondly,
Until Dawn really capitalizes on the idea of the butterfly effect. Something I honestly have never delved into much before. But what instantly blew me away about this videogame is the realism of it. I'm not just talking about graphics either. I am talking about the way the characters behave and interact with one another and their surroundings. The creators must have spent a great deal of time bringing all of these things and the characters to life like this. I was so blown away, lemme tell you!^^ Games like these make me say to myself, "Damn...I need a job now."

I think I am about to log onto World of Warcraft again I tried playing last week, got into a dungeon group we wiped, I blamed myself as the healer and ended up on the floor crying....Estrogen is a hell of a drug. Going to try it again today, randomly got the day off work and the Xbox one I bought black friday wont be here for a few more days so I wait....first halo 5, then fallout 4. I swear every single Xbox system i have bought was to play halo and belthesda games.
I got original Xbox to play morrowind which I hated and gave up on but then found halo and fell in love with it. Then I bought a 360 to play halo 3-4, ODST, and reach and then got skyrim mostly to play a vampire then destiny. Now Xbox one to play halo 5 and fallout 4 and more destiny...I mean how many games have a transgender undead godthing as a main villian.

Time will tell if the idealistic Piper will stay in the vault with him, whether occasional excursions are enough, or whether she'll eventually leave, sick of his new habit of doing every drug he finds. (my epilogue: he lived there for a long time until one day, Piper passed. The only thing that kept him going was an old friend (Hancock)'s invitation to lead the Minutemen (Preston had since died).

While everyone is playing fallout4, I got the game I was waiting for as I am a big fan of the old "Dragon Warrior / Quest" series and got Dragon Quest Heroes.
Last game I was really playing on my computer was Skyrim. On my 360 i've been playing a lot trying to get acheivements. Since joining here i've been playing on the MC server
I play Toontown Rewritten. It's a resurrection of Disney's Toontown that closed down a few years back. It was made for kids, but I'm one of those crazy adults who play. ;D
I also like to play various puzzle games on the computer or my phone.
I'm doing a second playthrough of Persona 4: Dancing All Night.
I'm revisiting pretty much every game of my childhood. Jade Empire, Tropico, Star Control. That kind of stuff.

I had my five-year-old little brother (whose experience in video games is limited to some car racing games) ask me to show him some of my games. Of course, I had to stick to the more kid-friendly titles....
So, I showcased him, in this order: Insaniquarium, Starbound, Goat Simulator (he enjoyed that one quite a bit), Tropico 4, and Star Control II: Ur-Quan Masters.
Then he kept asking for something "really scary". He assured me that he likes scary things, and isn't really afraid of anything.
Next game I showed to him was Spooky's House of Jump Scares. He isn't bothering me any more.

Wasteland 2 is great! I really enjoyed it, but got super stuck. Must go back to it at some point.
I finally got undertale but been a bit busy!
Its the only game that has ever made me feel guilty for playing it pirated, not that its a new opinion but it is lovely!

Over the last couple of months I've been playing Diablo 3, WoW, Divine Divinity and Guilty Gear XRD.

I just started playing through an indie game called Highschool Romance ... It's super short, and not much too it ... It's an interactive graphic novel that has a few branching paths and alternate endings to allow for multiple play throughs. It's very short. Has anyone else played it?
Pretty much your are a boy who's parents signed him up to an all girls school, so he pretends to be a girl to finish his final year, and you deal with the usual high school romance. Personally I think the main character was actually born a girl, but identifies as a boy. They don't really make it clear, but just something I thought.
Art style is pretty good, I wish it was a little more interactive, or at least have more animations. With as much text they go through in scenes the art doesn't change all that much. It would be a perfect phone/tablet game, but I don't think those app stores would allow it. Some might think the artwork to be more "mature content".

A lot of people hate DKC 3, but it's actually one of my favorite ones because of the adventurous elements and such. DKC 2 and 3 have the best music in my opinion.
I recently installed Guild Wars 2 on my PC. They've moved to a pretty standard environment. I've been enjoying it, but the missions are a bit cookie cutter. Still, I waited a long time for it and I think they did a good job.

Abysha, I've been playing XCom: EW as well. Totally forgot what a brutal game that is. The first few missions always lull me into a false sense of security. Get some meld maybe gene mod a solider I to think I am a tactical genius. But then Chryssalids show up, soon after that my tears :icon_cry2:

I've been mainly playing Dragon Age: Inquisition, but I recently got Garry's Mod on Steam. I tend to stick to Prop Hunt and Murder game modes.

I just bought Battleship for my Nintendo Ds, and no I do not have the 3ds yet. I hope Battleship isn't too hard for me to figure out. I want to get civilization for Ds someday too.

I'm playing a bit of DBZ: Xenoverse again. It amounts to a good time waster once you get through all the story missions and that's what I'm using it for. I'm mostly playing it because I joined in on a DBZ tabletop game on Roll20 and it kinda inspired me in that direction.

I googled it and I'm sure it's great just by looking at the graphics. I don't have xbox, but might get it on windows someday.

Pc is honestly the best version of it. graphics are really good for a game as old as it. It is on Steam, works fairly well and is compatible with windows 10. Xbox you might have issues with the controls, unless you are used to playing RTS on console.
I'm not really playing through anything big at the moment (even being unemployed, my time is spent teaching myself, applying for jobs and ebaying). However, there are short-burst games I check every day.
I resumed Fallout Shelter after a long hiatus and I'm on Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes (it's possible to progress in that without the microtransactions. It's also totally awesome). I reached the Level 70 cap and six of my characters are trained up to that, but I still need to work on my darksiders before continuing with campaign missions. My current focus is bringing Phasma to seven stars with Galactic War tokens followed by IG-86 and Poggle the Lesser. I'm also gonna max out Qui Gon and Ashoka slowly but surely with my Cantina credits and in a couple of month's time, I'll be able to complete Tier 7 of Grand Master Yoda's training event.

I'm trying to play Gunz again. After I remembered this game back from when I was a teenager, I tried downloading Gunz 2 from Steam, but discovered that it was mostly abandoned and it was very hard to get a match going. I hope to download a Gunz 1 derivative and hope to bring back some memories. :D

There is no objective. It's a sandbox game, with minor objectives put in. You can completely change the game with mods, too. It really can be a lot of different things.

I've been playing the upcoming mmo Tree of Savior. It'll be free in a week! (Well, give it a bit more than that since I'm sure the servers will be crashing and bugging out cause of the people coming in) It has a very cool class system, and an engaging battle system. Not the best character customization though, but eh.
I'm also into League of Legends, add "Rainbow Socks" for some filthy casual gaming. :P (Though I've been taking a break)
I'm trying out Final Fantasy XIV. It's okay so far.
Right now I'm playing Pokemon My A** - a hack of Pokemon Fire Red that's NSFW but entertaining. Recommend it for Pokemon fans that are a bit older :P

and this time around, really getting into the character:
a smooth-talking, diplomatic gun-nut strategically smooching off where needed and stepping in where not. also quite pissed at Cass for ruining his reputation with the NCR. fancies himself a bit of a detective, infiltrating the crime syndicates/casinos with covertly-stolen keys, well-chosen words and sneaking around. Tries to avoid violence, has however shown a certain lust for power when he killed House.
He enjoys the hunt, spending days picking off deathclaws from a safe spot. Is a full member of the Brotherhood Of Steel, the closest to supporting a faction he will get. Right now tries to make amends with the NCR, using a disguise and various odd jobs to improve his standing with the folks at Camp McCarran. Is also planning on getting Rex to Jacobstown to get him looked at.
Just started "Winning Putt". It's a Golf Game that is pretty fun and FREE. If you like Online Golf, check it out. I am Jessika in game. :)

I'm still addicted to ark, I've created a survival/grab the bag minigame with increasingly difficult dinos in each section of "The Gauntlet"
I've created 2 large bases, one has loads of very high level tamed dinos & the other is high up on rocky spires.
These have all been featured in you tube videos.
I spent my weekend building a base clinging to a cliff, the base is so big it tends to make my xbox crash as I approach it!!
If anyone likes dinosaurs then try this game, if you like survival games then try this game & if you like the crafting in Minecraft. . . . . . try this game

If you play in a public game then Ark can be a chore, try setting up a private game. On Xbox I can have 7 other people with me, the best thing about private games is that you can alter game stats.
On my private world days last for ages & nights pass in a couple of minutes, with one swing of a pickaxe I can harvest tonnes of stuff instead of a handful, hunger & thirst have been banished from my world & the rate at which new players earn XP is 6 times as fast as a public game.
Also I've tinkered with dino taming so instead of it taking 3 or 4 hrs to tame a dino I can do it in about 15 min
If you just want to build then you have the option of using command codes to give yourself 100 walls/ceiling etc in seconds.
If you're on Xbox then feel free to pm me & i'll show you what can be done or if you're on pc then check out you tube broadcaster Jade plays games & look for one video titled "amazing lagoon base" & another titled "The gauntlet". I'm waiting for some Fallout 4 mods to download, I got some more dog followers (not Dogmeat replacers too, which is cool, and it said I can have both and Dogmeat at the same time. I already have Nick and some guy called Eddy from another mod xD) and some radios- Boston's take on GNR, something that plays Russian music, one that plays metal and some other random one
I've found myself playing Grand Theft Auto V...when I can. I need to upgrade my video card, my RAM, and possibly my processor in order to play it properly. When I am able to play it, I enjoy myself quite a bit. I just wish I could get enough in-game money to get a second house in Blaine County and upgrade from my current pad in Little Seoul. I've mostly been upgrading my weapons or buying ammo for them, upgrading/repairing my motorcycle, or buying clothes. Needless to say, I don't have a lot of money to invest in real estate.
On another note: if I'm ever able to make a company as a result of this new patch, I might call it "Frustrated, Inc". I got the name from the Soul Asylum song Misery.
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt... I've been stuck on the Greatest Fears boss in Heart and Stone. I rage quit for about 2 weeks to compose myself. Still haven't tried again and won't get to for a few weeks till I come back home from work.
PS- If Ciri was a real chick I would need to marry her.

I've been playing Runescape for 15 years now! :P My RSN is The One Sin + I make Videos - kinda crappy videos, but hey I'm getting better every day! ^^ I only have two 99's at this time because when growing up and gaming I went into sports like Football + Track In Field so I was super duper busy! Although, I'm currently working on getting 5 99's by the end of this year. I should have 99 Prayer and Summoning by this coming DXP. You can use the Seren Stones to train your Prayer they seem to work for my friend.
I actually have a workstation graphics card in my machine so when I make videos I use the 980 Rig. For gaming and not using up all the electricity I use the 660 Rig, which plays still decent game play to this day.

I'm kind of balancing between the strategy of Dominions 3, and the straightforward ass-kicking of Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Both of which I bought on the Steam summer sale.
Just downloaded Pokemon Go and am playing around with it. It is a great game for at work since I do night shift security which involves a lot of walking and not much activity.

However, when walking back from hospital last night, OH asked me to walk off some of her eggs, and I trashed a gym round the corner. She's on Team Mystic and its the red one. Whatever they're called. Thought I was doing her a favour.
I'm so not into that Pokemon Go craze. Besides my phone doesn't have capabilities as Microsoft phones are behind the times. But I am into Bloons TD battles and Monkey City at the moment. There is something that is satisfying about popping those bloons like bubble wrap.

This play through (my second) is more just for fun. I am not doing a lot of the side quests. Just enjoying hanging out in the world.
Ultimate Mortal Kombat for the DS. Let me know if you have any idea how to beat the reptile on the first level. I'm new to Mortal Kombat altogether and I've read reviews of people who had played mortal kombat on other platforms and said the DS version was a lot harder.

I did play Life is Strange a few months ago, and I think that that game helped me to start to realize that I wasn't fully cisgender. It is a fantastic game; it delivered many powerful scenes and emotions.

I bought a PS4 several weeks ago (the Uncharted bundle console, which includes the remastered Uncharted Trilogy + Uncharted 4).
And now I'm finally starting to play Uncharted 1. I played Uncharted 2 on my PS3 many years ago, and I absolutely loved it. But I never got around to playing the other Uncharted games until now.
Heroes and generals and 7 days to die, more h&g then 7 days, kinda slack off when I know a wipe is coming. If anyone is interested I do have a 7 days server, it's pvp but as long as you don't steal or kill no one will bother you, if anyone want's the server info pm me.

I've had a terrible time with Ultimate Mortal Kombat for the DS. If anyone wants to talk about it or has any answers to this game feel free to message me. I have now bought Duke Nukem for the PC.
Overwatch became too competitive for me now and my own team always insulted me when I played unusual heroes for the map (although often not that bad). Also, the whole sexist and anti-gay chat messages all the time are really annoying. So, I'll restrain myself from playing team games in next time. (Although I enjoyed BF4 before, but only on crowded 64 player maps.)
American Truck Simulator is really soothing ;)
XCOM 2 was quite challenging and exciting.
BF4, i never noticed any insults like that, you do get the odd private message from some sado if you owned those noobs, love BF4.
Really not too sure what I'm going to play when I get home. I was getting into League of Legends, and would like to try Smite when I get home. Ultimately though I may just play some Street Fighter V till I join up with GameFly again to play more games.

Zen Koi.
A relaxing app game about fish, specifically the oriental Koi carp. You control the carp, make 'em eat stuff, crossbreed it with other carp to get new colour combinations, and eventually it ascends into a dragon. Calming and peaceful, with no need to hurry with objectives or even think about winning or losing.
Modding minecraft because I should learn java so I decides minecraft was how I would go about it.

Resident Evil 6 for the PS4
Figured it was time to play and perhaps finish Dragon Age Inquisition. Got it on release and have barely gotten past character creation.
Currently I'm in a bout of Paradox Interactive game playing. I've a Stellaris campaign with the Fermi Paradox - Forerunners mod and Exterminatus. Seeing how much I can expand before separatists throw the republic into disarray, or until an End Game event wipes me out.
I'm trying out Subnautica. The opening was great and I'm enjoying the atmosphere. I'm not usually impressed by many early access games. I'll probably dump a lot of hours into this one.

Skyrim because why not. It's a bit dull experience after Dragon Age: Inquisition, there's not getting around that (and the bards are TERRIBLE) but it has its redeeming qualities. I suppose it's pretty much impossible to run out of quests in Skyrim. :D
I am back playing wow again, i kinda Hate how much i am enjoying the demon hunter, i am tempted to main a vengeance tank. It plays like i wish old Republic jedi did.

Ark is one of my favorite games right now, too. I'm definitely hooked.
I played Resident Evil 6 yesterday, but this week, I'll likely start on Resident Evil 4 and Hatsune Miku Project Diva X when they both come out.

Playing Legion, the new WoW expansion. Funny too, because I quit WoW years ago.

I'm dating myself here, but I used to play Wolfenstein 3D on MS-DOS when I was younger and really liked it. I also played some of the others but not The Old Blood. How is it?
World of Warcraft. I'm obviously a fan of the game, if anyone can tell from my name. :p Legion is really fun so far. I haven't played my demon hunter much yet since I'm leveling my rogue, but this expansion is so, so much better than Warlords of Draenor. I'm glad Dalaran is the neutral city again, the nostalgia is real. I'm in my happy place.
I'm thinking about playing Elite: Dangerous again. The last time I tried I didn't last long, but I want to give in another try. I don't know anyone else who plays, so I'm not sure if I'll be any more successful this time. Until Star Citizen comes out I don't have any other use for my joystick controller, so this is the best I can find right now.
I've finally given in and started to play Hearthstone.
Still have to unlock all the classes.
Since it was free for a limited time we got ourselves Tropico 4 so yeah, that's my game now. xD

I've been completely addicted to Star Wars Battlefront, even though I completely suck at it, with The Division as a distraction. Having played the open beta of Battlefield 1, I've pre-ordered and am waiting for that to release next month...I also suck at this too!

I'm playing the World of Warcraft expansion Legion. It's a lot more fun than I expected!
I have been playing WoW with the same character since December 2004. I'm no longer as hardcore as I used to be, but I'm still somehow an officer in my semi-casual/hardcore raiding guild (which has been raiding together for more than 10 years!) The core leadership of our guild has stayed the same all this time. In fact, the long-time guild leader is none other than my real-life dear friend from my college days, who has turned out to be one of my greatest supporters during my transition!
My WoW character's name is and always has been "Mirya". I like the name so much I made it my middle name when I did my legal name change. :)

at times the game Real Life, which features the outside world is just too much at times and escape is necessary otherwise ending the game becomes all consuming.. and the side games of "watch TV" or "Watch Movies" holds no interest either. the making dinner quest, also holds its own problems and reaching the level of wanting to actually consume the meal and level up is tough to attain as well.and the boosts of making friends part well been failing that part for near 20 years.....i suspect hiding behind loads of armour doesnt help with that..
aside from all of that, games are a nice distraction.. my Rockband 4 kit arrives soon, got it for half price ;)

I just bought Exist Archive, Steins;Gate, and Last Blade 2 the other day. I'm mostly playing Exist Archive though.

THEN; over to Diablo 3 to plow through some grifts on Season 8, Maybe some Overwatch to vent some frustrations and practice with the new hero Sombra <3 (Shes almost as trollish as Tracer <3)
All while multitasking in and out of Pokemon GO, Star Wars Galaxt of Heroes, and Walking Dead No Mans Land on my phone. (Also Minion Rush is a guilty pleasure..)
Obscure stuff all over the place. Primarily Cinders and Man o'War Corsair. Yes, I can pretty easily alter between girly visual novels and Warhammer, because I'm weird like that.

I legit cant wait for the necromancer patch in Diablo 3 <3 I think some of my old necromancer PVP builds are still floating around on gameFAQs since before Diablo 2 1.08 and bone necromancer became 'cool.'

I've been trying to give WILDSTAR online a second chance also. I've to this day, still never reached max level or learned enough of the games systems to be competent. Have you tried that one?

I have tried wildstar a few times, hated the art style to start but it grows on you I also liked the humour, I'm the same and never reached max level

To be honest, I don't even remember the realm, I'ts been over a year since I've played.
I loved the tongue in cheek humor of the game and was hoping for an MMO themed like borderlands. I also really dislike the Aurrin and Chua. The human sprites also leave much to be desired with the art style.

Monk broke my heart in Legion when they took away 'fistweaving.' Something abouy swiftly kicking someone in the face to 'make them feel better' that spoke to me. I still roll her around as a brewmaster but have no interest in her other trees. =(
I've got Alt-itis, so I have around 15-20 characters in the 100+ range, though I'm taking my sweet time getting to 110 (only my alliance NElf hunter is 110, so far.) I'm loving Legion and looking forward to the upcoming content mentioned at Blizzcon. I'm currently running my (marks) hunter petless, with the camo talent - much more of a ranger-scout feel, which is awesome to me.

Their pvp system also needs a complete rework.
Still, its nice to immerse myself in the star wars universe every now and again.

Huh, I'll have to play Diablo 3 more then. And I'm one of those people who invests many hours into modded Skyrim- and I played on console for three years before that ;D
Nice thread. I have mac so not a whole lot of options but have played Hearthstone and Heroes of the storm for a long time. Heroes of the storm is probably the most casual MOBA there is.
Gotten a way from OSRS because of Work and Recently been grinding out my Lv 16 WElf NightBlade on Elder Scrolls Online.

I am sorely tempted to play through it again. A few mods have been updated so I might well do. Once you get things like the enhanced camera mod and a few cosmetic mods, it can very much be an escape. Once I get my Rift, soon, I probably will lose myself in it again.
So far I've been against downloading the special edition version. I've seen some footage on the consoles and it has to be the laziest cash in I've ever seen. Sure it's free on PC, if you already own the Legendary Edition but I dunno, there doesn't seem to be the mod support that the original game has. Not yet. And it's nothing really to what already exists, in terms of graphical fidelity. It seems like a pure attempt to get an extra $60 from XBone and PS4 owners.
I'm mostly play-testing my own game that I'm developing. It's not easy to develop a game on your own, but thankful I have a very talented boyfriend to help me out whenever things get too technical.
yeah i play Skyrim. Had to start again when i rebuilt my computer and lost all my stuff, mainly weapons that just happened to be stored in a mod. I actually haven't played in a few months because work got busy.
Back in the days before roller derby I use to play WoW, but I got tired of all the MMO stuff. I liked playing with a few friends but that was about it. Skyrim is more fun because it is just me. :)
I have a few other games for the PS3, but I am not much of a console gamer. Board games are actually more my speed. Kinda helps that I know a few game designers :)
There are some stellar board games out on kickstarter pretty much on the regular. :3 my poor bank account..!
I just bought a PlayStation 4 and got Diablo at the same time! Setting it up to play this weekend!

I want to play some Warcraft III but am unsure where I put my backup of it. Otherwise still World of Warcraft, I moved over to a BC server now, and having a lot of fun.

I'm pretty sure I don't use my warcraft 3 discs anymore, if you still have your CD keys, I digital download everything from my b.net account now.

No, not really. I am not running the servers, I just play on them. I don't think there has ever been a case against a player on private servers for WoW. Not that I am trying to steer you or other people to a life of crime :o I think my chances of getting sued over this, are probably less than of me winning the lottery.
I think of it much like jaywalking, now I am just paranoid I am going to get banned from the forum for even discussing it though.

I think it was only a risk for players who were using both, private servers and paid subs for WoW, Blizzard would permaban them. I'm personally waiting for the day they officially kill the subscription model on WoW and move to microtransactions like GW;2 and other MMORPGs. I'm a sucker for buying pretty outfits for my avatars..! >.<

Yeah, I cancelled my subscription about a year ago for WoW. After cata, I just could not find as much enjoyment because the leveling process was completely changed. I haven't even tried legion yet. With wow I'm an altahoic, and find leveling to be the most fun aspect of the game. I'm more into traditional gaming when it comes to MMOs, I even play the original EverQuest from time to time, leveling was always a significant factor of the game.
I had some nice outfits for my characters on WoW before I left though, and they finally allowed the option to remove the should pads. My night elf always looked off with those huge pads on her.
I know a lot of wow players despise the f2p model, but I look forward to it as well. I wouldn't mind paying for the expansions, but the monthly fee adds up, especially when I grow bored with it. I too would like to see more outfits, as I enjoy coordinating a nice outfit for my characters. I would also like to see player housing, which any decent MMO should have. That is one of the things I absolutely love about RIFT, they have a great system for creating your own home.

The WoW tokens are as close to free as it gets right now. I love the transmog option now to whip up cool outfits. >.<
I've been playing a Korean MMO called Mabinogi. I usually end up disliking all MMOs that I try out, but this one is sticking a bit better. I hope that lasts.
Restarting Final Fantasy VIII while disecting the 'Squall is dead' theory to see if its really as credible as they claim.. An old favourite of mine, VIII was the installment that initially got me into the franchise. :3

I hate games with cash shops and would sooner pay a sub, the so called free to play model is the worst thing to ever happen to mmo's and just fills a game with pay wall's to make you sub anyway and then you also end up spending more on cosmetics and mounts.

It's a text game, and it takes a lot of time to really get into. But the addiction happens. Kate was a PvP hero here (there's even an in-game monument to her, created when we learned she died), and I haven't been able to stop playing since.
It's super trans-friendly (hell, you can even RP a trans character if you want, gender switching is common enough), and nobody bats an eyelash about anything gender/sexuality related. At all. It's a very comfortable place to be.

Dragon age is an amazing game! the second one is not as great, story wise. The 3rd game is pretty good though.
If you like RPG games some of my suggestions would be Skyrim, the witcher games are great if you don't mind a little outdated, however the newest one Witcher 3 is really good.

I'm playing XCOM 2 again. The second play-through is still a lot of fun.
I've been flip-flopping between games at the moment. Mostly playing the remastered Assassins Creed: Ezio Collection for PS4, currently about halfway into Brotherhood. I've also been replaying Until Dawn, amazing horror game, there are multiple different ways that you can progress the story and I've been trying to play every variation. There is a special achievement trophy if you play every version; and I obsess over trying to 100% all of my games.
Played WoW this weekend, mostly. Finally got my Priest to 110, and got my 'High Priest' title (I've wanted this as a title for almost 10 years, so ./cheer)
I need to update his RP flag. It's funny, I don't usually do active RP in wow; I have this preference of being in the background. I feel like I'm "extra flavor" for other RPers, maybe helping them immerse themselves just a bit more.
OMG, seems like it has been forever since playing anything. So many titles are now a version or two past where I left off. Lots of catch up! GTA was always fun!

Wow may be old and it's quality has gone down but I do not think there is a role play game out there as well done for player interaction.

Not even just the player interaction, but the quality of life improvements. Most other MMOS that have failed and gone 'freemium' don't even allow for macros, addons, or a simple 'auto attack' feature. (My poor logitech MMO mouse hates the unnecessary abuse!) The new transmog (dress up!) function and UI is awesome, (granted borrowed from Guild Wars.) It brings me out to run old content and unlock as much cool outfits as possible.
Yeah I run out of steam, and I was pretty livid when the dev team tried to convince us all that a S.E.L.F.I.E. cam MK2 was a proper content patch.. but I always end up going back. I still get chills and the feels when the ambient tracks in certain starter zones play. (like the ghostlands ect for blood elves.. <3)

Final Fantasy XIII on PS3
Ok I'll admit it's not exactly new but, I'm playing Skyrim. I know, I know, boring right but, I'm playing it anywhere I like. Top spec surface pro 4, Xbox wireless controller. Looks like I have portable Xbox tablet, which is pretty cool even if I say so myself.
If nothing else, it beats being stuck on the train playing candy crush :)

I got 7dtd running through wine, at last. It is incredibly addicting, too addicting.. If you like zombies and minecraft, stay away from this game. I haven't felt this addicted since WOTLK. I was sort of happy when I switched back over to linux, and could not get the game to run. Earlier today, I installed the latest version of wine, and tested it, three hours later I am feeling guilty for sitting on my big behind goofing around on this game.
Which means, I really should uninstall it.. but it is so much fun :(
I am playing uncharted 2 on my ps4. I completed the last of us and uncharted 1 and 4 last month. Next is uncharted 3.

And of course, a game that i couldnt forget. Osu!.
For those who don't know, Osu! is a rhytm based game where you kinda just.. click circles to the beat ^^ it's kinda similar to an old DS game called "Elite Beat Agent", if that names helps anyone :D

Spending more time off of the Xbox 1 lately. Don't log in nearly as much as I used to. When I do it is one of 5 games: Star Wars Battlefront, Elder Scrolls Online, Smite, For Honor, or Elder Scrolls Skyrim.

Zelda, Breath of the Wild and Magic: The Gathering Online take up all of my gaming time. I'm kind of obsessive about both.
FFXIV for the most part. I had started a character last year that reflected how I thought of myself as a female, I've now partially abandoned my original max level main to play this character and get her ready for Stormblood next month.
Apart from that I play Overwatch, Diablo 3, and Hearthstone on a fairly regular basis and even stream them on occasion.
Just finished (XBOX) Farcry 4 a few days ago. Next one is going to be Bioshock Infinite.

Well I'm new here. I saw this post and thought oh cool. I do play a lot of games. I play on the Ps4 for the most part. Right now I'm playing Fortnite, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Zero Horizon Dawn, Saints Row IV, Dead Island, Dead Island Riptide and Mass Effect Andromeda. I do play play some online games like Marvel Heroes Omega, Neverwinter, Elder Scrolls Online and 7 Days to Die. I also play quite a bit of virtual pinball using Pinball Arcade & Pinball Access.

I played all of those! Fond memories of Zork & Hitchhikers on the good old Apple II! Plus quite a bit of Oregon Trail.
During a recent Humble Bundle sale, I was able to get Stellaris for 10 dollars ;D ;D (it's currently going for 40 dollars on Steam). It's a 4X Grand Strategy game revolving around space exploration, managing your empire, and diplomacy/warfare with other spacefaring civilizations. I am SEVERELY overwhelmed by all the details that I have to pay attention to, but I had promised a friend that I would give it a shot hahah.
Besides that, I'm playing a lot of Overwatch (as usual) and some Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Recently, I got into Secret World Legends. I remember having wanted to play the original Secret World when it came out, but at the time I couldn't, so I just kinda forgot about it for years. But who doesn't want to talk about a nonsensical ultra-linear gameplay experience with a rather bizarre and semi-sexist rendition of the job system that tries to walk back or ignore the impact of its predecessor? :D Seriously, I think it is the only FF I just stopped midway through without even completing once. Playing a lot of Battlefield1, have dropped off Battlefront and pop into the Division sometimes (all XBox). Tried the Battlefront II demo but wasn't overly impressed by the maps/gameplay to be honest!
I've been having fun with Exiled Kingdoms on my phone, I still dabble a bit with WoW although not very much. I downloaded a Second Life client the other day, that was actually designed for linux, and have been exploring a lot there lately, although I am very shy so haven't made any friends.
I saw an Atari Flashback at Office Depot the other day, and am considering buying one. They have my favorite Atari game on it, "Adventure". It is pretty sad that I am old enough to remember when the 2600 was in the living rooms of most of the homes.

That's really cool!! I wouldn't mind picking that up myself. I had a 2600 way back in the day. Even had.... E.T.!
I've started playing Rock Band again. Haven't played in over a year after playing 4 for the first 6 months or so. I got fed up with the lack of any songs I liked coming out, and a bunch of my old DLC is STILL not transferable. I've been playing since RB1, and had a ton of songs. For the first 3 or 4 years it was surprising if I didn't pick up 2 or 3 songs a month. I still have my PS3 & RB3, so I can go back & play them there.
I thought it would be good vocal practice (I specialized in vocals in RB 1-3), but I keep going back to guitar anyway :P . I had forgotten how wonky the synch issues can be on RB 4, especially when you're using older controllers.

It's been a huge struggle for me not to grab all of the classic gaming mini consoles, even at the inflated Nintendo costs. And though I wasn't around for the 2600's release (born in '82), I've had my older brother's for my entire life and love it dearly. It's all about pitfall though. ;D (I know it's the most unoriginal favorite, but still, it's just such a great exercise in damn good game design!)
I really want to build one of the Raspberry Pi boxes with a few classic style controllers to appease my need to buy the overpriced Nintendo classics, and tossing Atari, Genesis, TurgboGrafix/PCE, etc. games on there would just be an awesome bonus. (I mean, they can run up to PSX games very well even, just being able to have the entire library of the previous consoles on one SD card amuses me.)
I played the 2600 for a long time. Favorite games were River Raid, Spy Hunter, and the Space Invaders Ripoff called Demon Attack. Warlords was a fun multiplayer game, almost never makes it onto the compilation game systems.

I'm surprised so many of you like the Atari :) I thought I would get a few eye rolls. I decided to get it, my wife will be picking up one later on tonight, I look forward to a night filled with nostalgia. I'm hoping this one comes with berzerk, but it does come with pitfall :) I'm pretty sure it comes with Space Invaders as well, that will be certain to bring back a lot of memories.
I've heard some bad reviews regarding the wireless controllers, fortunately I have a couple of joysticks from a broken 2600 I bought a year or two ago.
I am currently playing at Valkyrie Profile. But it's kind of difficult to pursue a game when you're struggling with depression and anhedonia, alas... I shall try to conclude it because this game seems extremely both poetic and filled with enchantress melancholy. The story seems so deeply sad.
I also intend to play at Chrono Cross that fascinates me since my childhood. But I never had the opportunity to try it since the game was available only in Europe, unfortunately. I bless those who created EPSXE. There is also Silent Hill 2 that interests me even though I am extremely hypersensitive.

Oh jesus, do not play Silent Hill 2 if you are in a bad place at all, particularly if you are hyper sensitive. That game deserves its reputation. I'm a horror fanatic, and
nothing has gotten to me like it did. It is brilliant but oh dear lord is it depressing. (I am an achievement fanatic and went back through it and SH3 on the collection release from some years ago now. I did everything in SH3, which wasn't easy, and despite persevering through some brutal games for achievements... I just couldn't keep playing SH2 to 100% it. Every play through just brought me down more and more without fail.)

FFXII is the only one I never played (ignoring the MMOs, though did play XI some), I'm mad they aren't releasing Zodiac Age on steam. Hrrrm... would prefer to play zodiac age release, but now I'm wondering if my current laptop will run PS2 emulators decently enough... I say this like my backlog isn't massive enough.
Uncharted 4 again. Oh god, I love this game so much.

Silent Hill 2 at least one hour and I don't know if I'll ever be able to finish it all alone for the reasons you described. Even the first CG with James Sutherland in front of a mirror made me feel quite uncomfortable along with wandering through this thick fog.
It's extremely frustrating because the game and its story seem so great.
I played pinball for a few hours last night. Pinball is still my jam for gaming, but I like some others as well. I kinda waffle between pinball and super meat boy right now.

It is a true masterpiece of the genre, and does what it was designed to do very, very well. Perhaps too well. ;D Definitely look towards playing it someday, just not while you are already vulnerable. I know for my part with the ups and downs of the past few months since dealing with everything regarding starting transition I haven't been able to bring myself to even play Resident Evil 7's DLC, and, as good a game as that is, it is still nowhere near SH2 in the depressing category. (Which is saying something, because, as I said before I am a horror fanatic and have been a devotee of RE since I was a kid.)

While I still love playing PSX/Saturn era games, you are right that oddly even older school games stand the test of time a bit better. I think the big issue with some of the 32 bit generation titles is that they embraced the genre's roll as a story telling medium with FMV and cut scenes, but without having yet adopted the modern conventions for said means of story telling. In other words, not being able to skip said cut scenes, or extraneous dialogue that locks you in place. Even when the gameplay is still solid, it completely ruins the game. That is something that Japanese developers have only just figured out recently actually. In FF13 or Lost Odyssey, the player was trapped for hours of pointless dialogue that could have easily been happening during game play. Lightning Returns made a sincere (if somewhat vain at that point) attempt to rectify this, with virtually nothing in the dialogue that didn't happen on the move, with FF15 being a great example of balancing the two. (Sadly, as much as I worship the man, Kojima was probably the worst offender about that sort of thing for a long time. A 10 minute cut scene looking at footprints in MGS4 was just... jesus christ, what were they thinking? That's not even getting into the MGS radio conversations that were tailor made to happen on the move but for whatever reason he decided to lock you down with.)
Im playing Run Sackboy Run, which is basically a stripprd down Little Big Planet for android. I love being able to have it with me on the phone, but damn, i miss being able to dress mine as a sackgirl!

Playing Assassins Creed Origins. It's ok, but I don't think anything can really top the character dynamics of Jacob and Evie from Syndicate or the awesomeness of pirate ship battles. I'm not too far into the game I think so I am trying to reserve judgement. It is huge though.

With the release of origins I am now 3 games behind. *Sigh*... Unity, Syndicate, and now Origins. While I managed to make myself play through Rogue, I just sort of burned out on the series. Really should run through them... and... 500 other games... ugh. Problem is nothing will ever match 2 and 4.

Honestly, you can and should skip unity. When you have a chance to come back to it def play syndicate though. Its really good. Evie is a classic rogue styled character while Jacob is more of a thug nd the game let's you use either one for most missions so you can switch up how you play. The twins DO NOT get along.

Freecell is totally still a thing......isn't it? I play a few rounds on my phone when I go out for a meal and am waiting for food.
Currently on a mission to actually finish Dark souls 1&2 aannnd then new game+ till I have done all the odd quests.
Lots of muttering "rude" "this is fine" and occasionally shouting "DOOR IS STUCK DOOR IS STUCK!" at my computer has been fun. A few peace full moments of "praise the sun!" and doing my own little fashion show to see what armour to wear has kept me endlessly entertained while I wait for some life things to progress.

Lots of muttering "rude" "this is fine" and occasionally shouting "DOOR IS STUCK DOOR IS STUCK!" at my computer has been fun. A few peace full moments of "praise the sun!" and doing my own little fashion show to see what armour to wear has kept me endlessly entertained while I wait for some life things to progress.
I still need to play through DS3, but my co-op partner is being whiny about starting it. ;D Love those games. My tolerance is on the high side, and aside from one or two parts I just have pure fun. (They ain't nothin' in the way of grief compared to years of PvP servers in old MMOs. ;D) Though I could have done without the first pursuer encounter while being a low level hex build with nothing to actually frickin' kill him with in ds2.

Hehe if you need more Co op palls I'm always down though I prefer rplaying as a red phantom or with dried fingers on all the time. - I may have played that game to much at this point.

I love Ys games so much. I need to replay them all, and have been intending to so for a while. I have all of the ones released on Steam plus the others setup on emulators on my phone (I have a moga controller for gaming on it) just ready to go once I can make myself start playing.
I'm apparently back on WoW it seems of lately. I still get on ESO now and then to run Trials on my Vampire Breton Sorc Tank. While still going back to making vids on LoL and OSRS on my channel. So my hands are on a lot of games right now. :3

Got a beast of a PC, with a Rift, so I'm playing Skyrim in virtual reality, with an unfeasably large amount of mods to let me have a body and... uh... moveable parts. It's incredible. Feels like actually being there. Could care less about the "official" VR version, mine is better. Floaty, disembodied weapons... no thanks. I like seeing myself when I look down.
Also Elite: Dangerous in virtual reality... I can't even begin to describe how different and amazing it is.
Psyching myself up to play Alien Isolation in VR. I'm extremely nervous about it since playing it just on a TV screen made me decidedly uneasy. In VR... well... I might need new underwear.
Still waiting for Agony. Still. Come on already!!!

I've been trying to clear out some games in my backlog as well as a handful I got for Christmas lately. Just finished up Valkyria Revolution (bad choice for the franchise... why push a multi platform release for a mediocre spin off?), Super Lucky's Tale (ugh, so much wasted potential, it is too simplistic and lags way behind Yooka-Laylee for modern Banjo clones), Sonic Forces (was hoping, praying, that despite mediocre reviews I would like it like I did Generations... but alas, no such luck, it's just... let's say it isn't terrible, but that doesn't make it good either), and Shantae 4 (only of my recent clear outs that wasn't a disappointment, love that series).
Tomorrow my semester begins, so... yeah, probably won't get much done gaming for a while, ugh.
Oh well, at least I cleared out Mario Odyssey while I was off. Still gotta finish Breath of the Wild DLC, but that won't take long. Then it's on to Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Gotta justify the Switch. ;D

I just wrapped up Zelda and Mario on the Switch, now I'm trying to find the patience to progress past the winter in Don't Starve. I've also got a farm in Stardew Valley that will never die.
I enjoy most Dark Souls 1, 2, and 3. I have all the achievements unlocked in 3 and 91% of the way in 2. Trying to get all the achievements in all 3 games :p
I'll probably be getting the remaster of DS1 that I hear is coming out too.

The Witcher 3 is also a big fan of mine. Best story in any game I've ever played. The DLC is also fantastic.

Hearthstone I quit a while ago though cuz it angered me and had too much RNG for a strategy game. Still want to get the DLC for Horizon Zero Dawn. Been having the urge to play Earth Defense Force 4.1 again, to tide me over until 5 hits the states.
For the first time in almost 3000 hours of playing Skyrim I added an ENB, lol. I could never really play it before with a heavily visually modded setup because my laptop just couldn't handle it. Especially after the second GPU burned out.
But now I have a 1080Ti and a beast of a PC, I thought "Okay, let's see how far you can push it." I don't play the special edition yet because I don't feel the modding scene is far enough along to really get my teeth into it. And it doesn't have the Enhanced Camera mod. I can't play without that. So I'm still using "Oldrim".
So... I got myself every 2k and 4k texture I could get my hands on (even a few 8k ones), HDT physics, flaura and fauna overhauls, weather and lighting overhauls and the most demanding ENB I could find. As well as several script-heavy survival/realism mods, and a few quest mods. Dumped them all in there and figured the game would run at a crawl. I was wrong, lol. The new GPU is amazing. I have to turn the framerate limiter on in the ENB because otherwise it tries to play the game at like 260 fps and everything just goes a bit crazy.
The GPU just opens one eye, looks around a bit bored, and goes back to sleep, lol. It doesn't seem to matter what I do to it, I can barely even get the fans to come on. And the same is true using VorpX to play it in VR. It's totally transformed the game for me now, it looks amazing.
I've also been playing around with a couple of really cool mods. One gives your character a voice, a bit like the Fallout 4 protagonist, which is pretty cool. There are different voice packs you can add, one of which is Ciri from The Witcher 3. The other one is a tool which uses a script in TES5Edit to allow you to give any NPC the appearance and/or inventory of any other NPC, even modded ones, without having to mess around in the Creation Kit. So I've got a ton of modded followers and have been playing around changing people's looks, lol.
Turning Isran into Serana and vice versa was kind of interesting, lol.

It sure did and they throw so much at you. I will say I'm glad they made it a bit easier in certain aspects and definitely loving how I don't have to load zones like in previous ones and can follow the monsters almost everywhere :D

I am playing or at least trying to play Army Men RTS, which is a real time strategy game. It does not want to work on my Alienware laptop, but it does work on my old dell computer. Besides that I am playing Men of War Assault squad 2, but specifically for the cool mods.
I am planning on buying a new rts game that just recently came out called Empires Apart, which is like a modern Age of Empires game.

As for me, I've been playing too much Fortnite lately. I play it with my brother. I'm not usually a fan of 3rd person (anything), but I do like quick paced games, and it can get pretty intense in games like this.

Fortnite is fun, only played a few rounds of it. A never leave sanctuary run in fallout 4 is where you just manage settlers by building everything in the sanctuary settlement. Scavengers gather materials for you, you manage what little resources you can gather - Its a whole different way to play since its mostly RNG based on loot drops. Leveling is hard but it feels like mine craft a bit and it keeps me busy while I do homework on the side, lol.

This is like the only game I bought this year because I can't really afford to buy any. Anyways, A hat in time is OK, but my problem with it is that the game has you replaying the same levels but with different objectives, which I find to be a bit boring.

The single player ones I"m going through are all re-playings: Nier Automata on ps4, Tomb raider 2 on Pc, Resident Evil 3 gc version via Dolphin emulator on Pc, and Resident Evil Code Veronica X ps2 via Pcsx2 emulator on Pc.
That it, soon to jump to other titles, but Monster Hunter World and Gran Turismo Sport I intend to keep playing sporadically.
I'm always open to new friendships, more so on ps4 because for me its easier to chat there with audio(too lazy to type).
Battlefield 1, ripping heads of with sniper rifles in it is sick.

I was just moments ago playing the Starcraft remaster. Hmm I do not remember not being able to put the AI on different teams. It seems the game only allows free for all....and that is it? That is weird. I do not remember that at all.
I LOVE A Hat in Time! I was tracking Gears for Breakfasts progress myself for a few years it's incredible what they did with an engine originally designed for FPS games and dealing with the long distance communication is a BITCH anyway *ahem*
I only really played Dark Souls 3 for sooooo long. @TicTac I would recommend 3 for new comers. The game I feel has the most lenient of systems across all titles and is still fairly diverse and robust in gameplay. I have only heard bad things about the remaster, which makes me sad. I started with 2, then bloodborne, then 3, but I haven't played the first yet.
I'm so busy I don't get much time to play, but I plan to make time and record it for YouTube! ;D
If you all have any suggestions of what I should play, I'd love to hear it!

I wanna recommend Dark Souls 3. I personally think it's the best one and may be most interesting for new players. Still gonna kick your butt though. But I mean the remaster for 1 would be pretty good for a new player as well. You could experience it without the horrors of the lag hopefully. I still like 3 the best, but number 1 has some beautiful art design and cool bosses. But idk, I like 3 best cuz I feel like it has the best ui system, it's fast passed, the music is amazing, the bosses are really cool, and the style is very neat. Number 2 is probably the easiest of them all though, but it has a very annoying mechanism that every time you die your max hp is reduced and you need to use limited supplied items to bring it back to full. It has a more unique style from the other two, it's still a slow paced version, but it has the best "fashion souls" out of all of them in my opinion, and many others.

Number 2 is probably the easiest of them all though, but it has a very annoying mechanism that every time you die your max hp is reduced and you need to use limited supplied items to bring it back to full. It has a more unique style from the other two, it's still a slow paced version, but it has the best "fashion souls" out of all of them in my opinion, and many others.

Well before all my current issues I was replaying Dying Light, right now Im bouncing from game to game, but Ive been replaying Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, and Pocket Mortys because im bored lol. Other than that, Final Fantasy XI had a free log in campaign thats almost up and I missed payment of my Final Fantasy XIV account so thats off right now. Tempted to play Maple Story again lol looking for anything free right now.

I only just played Portal Still Alive first time like 3 or 4 years ago LOL... so dont feel bad :) but now Portal is like an obsession or way of life, ive already beatin Portal 1 atleast 3 times and Portal 2 atleast 2 haha #BringonPortal3damnit
After like 2.5 years of putting it aside (oops) I got back into "Ryse: Son of Rome," as the internet was down and it was a single player game I could play offline. I went through it all and completed it and then when the internet came back on I found my Xbox didn't keep track of the fact that I completed it so I earned 0 achievements so I went through it all again XD
I am achievement type of gamer.
So I been still playing the multiplayer mode with it a bit and achievement hunting for 100% cuz that's just the way I am .-.
State of Decay (mostly 2 since the saves from one mean little), Evoland (well replaying), Class of Heroes (Vita) and if I mess with my DS i've been jumping around thinking of playing the Phoenix Wright Series again... and Fire Emblems Warriors on the Switch... other than that im playing Pokemon GO while I walk ^^ lol

Halo CE on Heroic is nothing compared to Halo 4 on Legendary, LMAO took me like a year to get through HAHAHA (i took a break from it)

im now playing Halo 2 have been for awhile, this is a first play through for me more or less as for some reason i never actually finished it before, i didnt like the way the controls changed first which turned me off, and i put it in the back log LOL but im now playing it on MCC edition and ive learned the differences and loving Halo 2 actually now and up to Level 8 already LOL the levels seem so much Longer than Halo CE

Still a Destiny 2 addict, I'm just a sucker for checking boxes, trying to maximize triumphs and getting everything in game. I know there are a few LGBT clans out there, but not ready to out myself to all my son's friends
Was playing fortnite for a while with my kids, but I've come to the slow realization that I am no longer competitive at FPS, and when you die early and often, there is just way too much downtime in that Battle Royals style. They need an over 40 server. :)
I've also got the new Red Dead game sitting on the shelf waiting for me to get over my Destiny coma.
Elite Dangerous all the way, like if tomorrow does not exist.
I got myself a Nintendo Switch a few months ago. While I got it mostly for the new Super Smash Bros., I've been spending more time with Splatoon 2.
Splatoon's turf wars are about the most addictive thing I've stumbled upon in the past few years.

I'm giving Anthem a try right now. I'm a big fan of BioWare games and you get to pilot a robot so I had play it. So far I'm loving the flight mechanic, just a ton of fun.

I remember playing X on the PS2 when it came out and then being blown away playing it on my Vita. I'm probably going to buy it on the Switch along with XII and VII when they come out over the next month.

Kingdom Comes Deliverance. One of the best RPGs I ever played. It's so rewarding to guide Henry form an uneducated, illiterate young man to a knight and his Lords right-hand man.

Red Dead Redemption 2
I tried Crowfall and it's pretty boring at the moment. Not surprising, considering it's on alpha test :D Technically, it's sandbox with lords and servants, though right now there isn't many testers and I haven't meet anyone yet.
Trying to finish Remember Me just because I don't like unfinished games. Poor gameplay and mediocre story making it difficult.
In progress visual novel Amnesia. Dunno what to say right now. Storytelling is unusual - instead of reading about what our character think about everything player reading comments about situations from entity in character's mind who observing everything through her body. I think it's great idea, I'm a bit tired of playing dumb characters. It's nice.
Recently I finished another visual novel, Crystalline. Instead of providing player bunch of NPC for romances it give us just Leanna and depending on MC behavior they can have romance or frienship (not sure about rivalry though, Leanna forgive me for everything). It was one of longest VN I played, and every NPC fully voiced. I'd recommend it for all who like this genre.
At some point I froze my progress in Pathfinder: Kingmaker, but I still considering it great old-fashioned RPG, inspired by Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights. It's adaptation of D&D-like system, Pathfinder, for computer game (actually, Pathfinder is almost D&D 3.5 with some expansions, it was created when Wizards made infamous D&D 4). It can be quite hard for those who isn't familiar with such games though, but you always can reduce difficulty and it'll solve problem. Personally I found it hard to balance adequate difficulty for me, because single change making game too easy or too hard, but maybe you better than me or don't mind playing with god mode :)
New league in Path of Exile was disapointment. Though I like new crafting mechanic, Memory Nexus itself is disaster. GGG gave players only 8 slots for Memory Fragments, and after every 8 maps they have to return in Nexus to spend some of them or ignore main mechanic of league. Also many bugs at start ruined first impression, and loosing dozen of hardcore characters upset me... Well, that's definitely not my favorite league. Somewhere at Bestiary tier.
Still playing time to time with my friends in CS: GO, Overwatch or Grim Dawn and rarely trying to improve my skills in Starcraft 2 (still not qualified for 1v1, but I trained how to spend resources from 3 hatcheries and almost beat Master AI - I'm too passive and too late making Hive tech)

I've had it since 2016, and kinda go through phases of "being into it" and "...well not" but right now I'm in the "being into it" phase of The Elder Scrolls Online again.
I was kinda bad on my wallet and payed for the ESO+ subscription again so now I'm going through the DLCs trying to as many of the achievements as I can before my time is out :p
It's been neat though to see all that different content that was locked away from me for a long time
I've been playing Prominence Poker. It was a free download from the PlayStation store. It's the very best poker game I've ever played. You play against other players throughout the world. One of the best features is the avatar section. You can choose who you really want to be, dress them the way you want, and basically pick out all of their features from hairstyles to makeup to jewelry. My avatar looks exactly like the woman I know I am inside. ;)

What type of poker is it? Like is it just regular 5 draw poker, or Texas Hold 'Em? Those are the only types I know how to play. Or other? Or all?
